• Switching blackBerry Z10 devices

  I have a new Blackberry Z10, and I want to transfer data/applications etc. of my old Z10.  The problem is when I try and switch them via Blackberry bind said OSs are incomplatible.

  The OS on my old camera is SR - 10.2.1.2941 OS - 10.2.1.3175 and my new camera SR - 10.2.1.2102 OS - 10.2.1.2141.

  I tried to update the software on both devices via Blackberry link and say that the device incorporates the latest version of the software.

  I tried to make a backup on the old device and restore it on the new device.

  I'd appreciate if anyone has any suggestions about how I can get the devices.

  OS 10.2.1.3175 is no longer available for the Z10. You'll want to use the instructions in the link posted BillJ and instead of codes which post, use the post codes below to install 10.2.1.3247. I'll assume that you have a STL100-2 or - 3 and you can use the codes for the-2 or - 3.

• BlackBerry Z10 impossible access contacts or messages and the non-existent hub

  I got a Z10 now and during the installation I noticed that if I clicked on the "contacts" or "text messages'icons are not." I thought when I transferred all the data from my old divide that would correct itself, but it does not.

  None of my contacts or forwarded messages, and I Redid the transfer twice. My call log was transferred, but all entries are number only, no names. And I can't seem to be able to add these numbers to my contacts. I can't even enter the contacts and enter all my previous Info manually.

  I have no hub blackberry either and I asked the people who are in the same room to send me messages but I don't get them. I tried to reboot the device several times but nothing moves. I seem to be able to BBM surveys send, but not receive them.

  Seems that the only thing I can do is to make and receive calls and use the internet browser.

  Can any ideas on how I fix? I will go back to the store I had the phone of the future, but really looking for some information at this time if possible.

  Have you made software updates on your BlackBerry Z10? If this is not the case, there may be one available. You can do the update through the BlackBerry Link with your device, or by going to settings > software updates on the device itself.

• BlackBerry Z10 Geocaching using Z10

  I've always used c: GEO for geocaching and it has always worked perfectly until last week when the maintained connection fault on the Blackberry Z10.  I deleted the application, thinking a quick reinstall would work fine, but now I can't see the app available in the Blackberry store.  Does anyone know if this app has been removed permanently?  If so, this is the first time in 10 years I'm so frustrated with BB not providing a good app store that I will change to another phone (I don't want really because I've loved blackberry since my first model of the curve!)

  C: GEO can be sideloaded through "Snap", not available on Amazon. I installed it and it seems to work OK.

  I have been using BlackBerry Z10 for a year. I was very satisfied with the performance of the device. I am indeed! but do not know what happening sudenly I'm unable to find any contact which is already available in the contacts app (NOTE: I do not use 3rd party app to store my contacts)

  Software version: version of the OS installed is BB 10 OS 10.3.1.1779

  This is the setting I made on my device:

  Automatically merge Contcts - WE

  Sort contacts by name

  View the contact as -firstly, the last

  Show the accounts in the list of contacts:

  BBM contacts

  BBM contacts video

  LinkedIn

  Facebook

  Twitter

  Outlook.com

  Contacts from the SIM card

  BBLink

  Search using cloud is UNCHECKED.

  Wait... you mean you installed an update of the OS? And after that, this behavior started? If Yes, then the most common thing to do after an update which translates questions is to perform a reload of the OS. Sometimes the update process have errors and others... with a reload often cure the problems.

  Of course, before you start this, you want a good backup link, a manual copy of the memory of your device to your PC and complete documentation of your configuration (identification information of account, adding applications, configurations, etc.).   Despite setting the e-mail on the Z10 acocunts only sync emails for the last 3 days, our accounts for all of the district are drawn on the Z10s.  Any ideas what you can delete is no longer on the handheld only.  Contacts are also dupolicated/quadrupled for no reason.

  My apologies, this feature is not available in 10 of BlackBerry. With ActiveSync BlackBerry Z10 is connected directly to the server, and if you delete an email it will remove the Exchange Inbox.

  It's against the forum rules to post a link to the possible pages who advocate free software loading and actions that lead to a possible loss of security, while I don't know who is legally available if I post the link, it will probably get deleted anyway not released. It should be pretty easy for you to search and find yourself.

  Regarding the resolution of the problem, I think that it's worth a try, and I probably would if I were in your situation, but in all likelihood, there may be a HW fault so I wouldn't say anyway.

  If you have had only three days and then depending on what country you're in means that you might be able to return any way, you can here in the United Kingdom within 7 days (under certain conditions), but whatever rights you are guaranteed should be always there and if it is a solution of ease for you you might as well try to return it to those who resell it to you.

  I can customize the ringtone for some contact.  My problem is that the ring works only for calls. It will not change to the texts.  I don't understand that the process or change is the same.  Is there any solution for this?
