BlackBerry Z3 z3 overheating

My BlackBerry z3 is overheating especially when am browsing the Internet on WhatsApp and taking long calls. What should I do to fix this problem?

Hello and welcome to the community!

The heat is a normal by-product of electronic devices; increased results in the use of the waste heat increased. However, exactly how do you know that it is overheating? It fails? Or it's just hotter that you want it to be?

Has always been this way? Or is this new behavior? If new behavior, what happened just before it all began? A new application? An update of a certain type? Something else?

What operating system do you use? Different versions of the OS have different characteristics.

Let us know.

Hello, for some reason, today, my passport has suddenly started to get rather hot... hot blistering not but enough for me to worry. I know slight overheating high right & indeed is where it is at its hottest but it was spread allover. The battery life is as good as ever, I downloaded a new application the other day (ViSS which is a video compression application) & thought could only so he deleted but he suffered the same later.

Still running 10.3.1.1779 & I could get 4 g at the time... never happened before if any ideas or are am I worrying too?

    Thanks in advance...

It also lets you restart the device by holding the power button for 10-15 seconds... through the countdown, through the red LED and up until you see the BB logo again.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones phone overheating

After downgrading successful 7.1 in 7.0 operting system, one thing I did notice is that my phone overheated now. What could be the problem and what is the solution? My phone is curved 9320

I don't really know. If you do a security wipe and test before doing anything else and still have the question, I would get the device looked. No one can really say a lot without having the camera in hand

If you have lots of BBM contacts, twitter, etc., I am aware of that the device can spend a lot of resources sync'ing and update. Removing the battery may be the wrong thing to do. Instead, plug the unit into a wall charger and leave it for a few hours.

If the unit is very well after a security wipe, then do what I suggested above and restore your data and add a step of apps at a time and test. If the problem comes back, look at what you were doing before the problem returns. But recognize it is perhaps not really a problem and may be normal.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB overheating

Help, I got my bb 9320 round the month of April this year, had already buy a new battery, I just use origanal batteries and a week ago my phone just start to overheat. I load all night and at six in the morning, I take it off, around 8: 00 the pone gets so heat should I remove the battery and let it cool. When I put the battery, it is completely flat. What can I do? Please help me.

    Thank you

    Marlene

OK thanks a lot I'll do exactly that, and I will surely check back. I was really getting worried because I have no money to buy a new phone and I'm definitely not selling my problem to someone else. And I just discovered a lot of things I can do with my phone and it's sending of documents, such as word and pdf to my phone via Bluetooth files to attach it to my emails for the fast shipment.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "BOLD" battery draining - overheating problems

    Hi all

I'm new here I have BlackBerry for almost 2 years (curve 3000) and I was really happy with it (no problems) then I bought "BOLD" Saturday and has exhausted the battery - overheating problems! I downloaded the new software from T-Mobile Croatia site (they have one last but which did not help) after recharging and stay all night, he went flat within 6-7 hours so I went today (Monday) and they swapped the device for me, now I'm waiting to see what will happen. I have 4 questions:

1 can I download new software version of the device from the BlackBerry site that even I bought in Croatia from T-Mobile and which will have consequences on the device? If yes what are they?

    2. what causes this battery drain - overheating problems and how they can be stopped?

    3. is Facebook app in conflict with "BOLD"? Yes I have it on mine.

4 are all the other apps in conflict with it, i.e. Windows Live Messenger because I have too much that one on it?

    Thanks in advance!

    1. no consequence... the latest version of the "BOLD" OS device is located here:

    http://www.BlackBerryForums.com/General-9000-series-discussion-bold/194263-OS-9000-bold-4-6-0-477-4-...

2 could be a number of issues, several. You have 3G enabled on your "BOLD", on the one hand, (manage connections > Mobile Network Options?, and you have a 3 G with Tmobile Croatia network?) I know not flippant, you could ask that. If your device is constantly looking for a 3 G network and not finding what will cause the big battery drain.

Check your applications running in the background. There are usually four or five applications that will be always running (Messages, Call Logs/phone, BlackBerry Messenger, home screen and the browser; there are others such as BeamBerry and alarms which will run also). Ensure that the browser is NOT on an active Web page (must return the bookmarks page only). Close all other applications that do not need to be running (the camera or a game you were playing or Google Maps).

3 No.The FB app is developed by RIM.

    4. What do you mean 'in conflict '?

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10 - the battery life low, overheating, restarting the device.

    Hello

My camera has been upgraded to 10.3 towards the end of February, I think.  Battery life was low at first, but eventually improved to an acceptable level.  (Acceptable = able to make it through the day without charge.)

In recent days, the battery life was horrible.  At 01:00 this morning, it was fully charged and from 05:00, it's about 40%, without any use at all.  All idling with the screen off.

I read some suggestions in the forums.  I deleted all my email accounts, restarted the unit, then added them.  I also confirmed that there are no other applications running that might be draining the battery.

I bought the unit directly from BlackBerry back to November, so I have no support available carrier.

So sometimes after typing a message, I hung up and he begins to restart.  I'm quite sure physical were issued with the phone - it is never dropped or roughed up somehow.

When I look at my use of the battery, I see the remaining 38%.  System of 26%, and PIM services is 8.6%.

Someone more detailed suggestions on how to fix this?

    Bryan.

Hello and welcome to the BlackBerry support fourms!

Try to veiw of the last 12 hours of the CPU usage. The heat is probably high CPU load.

I also recommend that you recharge the device through BlackBerry link software. Good luck and keep me posted.

  • Overheating blackBerry Torch 9810 of Smartphones

Last week, I bought a Torch 9810 and the problem is that it is overheating. I loaded for the first time and began to use it once the battery is fully charged. At first, everything was normal until I started using it, it began to get hot at the back, the bottom part under the battery. More, I continued using the warmer, he got. Once it is hot, hot, stop reading the Sd Card, it gives the fatal error message. The next day, I took back and was two-way with another phone again, same model, and I'm still having the same problem. I used the curve for two years and never experienced any problems. Is there anyone who has experienced this and how it was resolved?

On device, go to Options, device, application management is a great way to see what your applications with your use of the CPU on #Torch. Simply drag bar greater than CPU and see what happens. Also touch the CPU menu to see other time variables. I discovered that an application has been eroding CPU cycles on my own

I am a proud owner of a 9320 and have had it for 2 weeks now, I am happy with the features of the phone, but have noticed that it becomes extremely hot, I read the posts on this and I just wanted to know if all this heat will not cause the battery to swell over time. • BlackBerry smartphone Curve 9360 sometimes warms us up a little bit and the battery is discharged

Hi, my blackberry 9360 is sometimes a really weird thing. Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside. Someone has an idea it might be? Thank you in advace for help. Best regards, Alexander

  • BlackBerry battery Z10 drainage and other problems

Hi all.  I'm new to this forum, but certainly not new to Blackberry devices.  I had a playbook before my z10 and I know that the two are not at all similar, but I like Blackberry interface.  I read a lot of posts here on the drainage of the battery and overheating and the phone restarts several times, and I had all these problems.  Recently, after reading here and trying to get a grip on what to do with my z10, I called my cell phone provider technical support to see what they had to offer advice.  I live in the Canada, Telus is my provider and they said either on send to get or replace the battery or both battery and motherboard replaced like who could fix the overheating problem.  My phone overheat in the upper left corner of the phone, but only when I play a game that I downloaded on the android market as 1mobile market.  In general, it is a racing game where the screen is affected much.  I noticed that the back of the device overheating also and this worries me greatly as I wonder if my phone is going to explode in my hands!  I did a cleanup of security and has not been successful in restoring the last backup I made before is erased.  In some way my Blackberry ID and password was not accepted when I put my phone again.  It's frustrating.  But now I always get the overheating problem and my battery life is not great, that it was better before erasure.  Weird.  I ask some advice if I should send the phone or to swap with another since I was still under the 1 month to own this phone?  I have till next week Monday a decision, because it is when my replacement z10 phone is supposed to be in my Telus in my store.  Thanks in advance to all.

At the end of a day recently, I tested, did not use wifi, no games, no cell data, and my battery had fallen to 30% while having the phone and SMS language. Before I start my day, the phone is fully charged. Technical support told me that isn't normal.

    Hello

On your home screen to Options > device > advanced system settings > BlackBerry Smart Analyzer > run the test from the battery to find out about the issue.

Or on your home screen to go to Options > device > application management. Move your trackpad right or left it shows CPU Usuages, it will at least give you an idea what application is the use of your resources.

Check and see if any application is responsible for the problem.

Question of observation on our BlackBerry battery cover them charge, are lithium-ion battery it won't take too long to load, it can reach a full charge (100%) within 2 hours. If your camera takes too long while you have connected to a wall outlet has a good and constant power. Or you can visit your service provider to check if this is a hardware failure.
