Download audio files on Windows from an external device (recorder)

I need step by step instructions on how to download audio files to a portable recorder (via the port USB.)  I want to download on Windows, then Windows Media Player and then place it on the desktop in a file.  Deeply, I'd appreciate any help.

Hello

Please provide us an opportunity to help you.

I understand you want to move the audio files on your USB drive to your computer Windows 8 Recorder device. You can follow the steps mentioned below.

Note: follow the steps in the step 5 mentioned below on how to move the audio files on your computer that Windows 8.

If you want to copy the audio files from a source computer and transfer it to a recorder USB device and then download the same to another computer, please follow the steps:

Step 1:

Insert your device USB recorder to the USB port on the source computer. If this is the first time using the player on your computer, Windows takes a few seconds to automatically install the drivers.

Step 2:

Click on "Open folder to view files" in the window AutoPlay to open Windows Explorer with a view of the content of the flash player. Does identify its easy drive letter. You can also press Windows key + E and under devices and drivers for the USB device drive recorder is listed under "removable storage".

Step 3:

Locate the files you want to transfer in Windows Explorer. Drag and drop these files on the drive of the recorder. By default, it copies the files, so the originals are still on your hard drive.

Step 4:

Right click on the USB recorder and select "Eject" once the copy is complete.

Step 5:

Remove the recorder USB key and insert it into the USB port on the destination computer.

Step 6:

Open Windows Explorer again through the window of Autorun or go in the Explorer of files after the Windows key + E and the devices and drivers.

Step 7:

Locate the files that you have previously copied to the recorder. Just drag and drop them to any location on the hard disk of the destination computer. If you need more copies on your device to recorder USB, right click on the files and drag them to the hard disk of the destination computer. When you release the mouse button, select "Move here" this will copy the files to the hard drive and delete the copies of the recorder USB.

Step 8:

Click the recorder USB device drive and select "Eject" once the copy is complete. You can then remove the USB recorder.

I also first elements 12 on 64-bit Windows 8.1, so we should be able to cross-check the issues present.

If you have audio files saved on the hard drive of your computer (if those that came with the program or your own), then you can import them into a project of 12 items were created using the add media/files and folders/projects active where you drag the file to the workspace Expert Timeline (usually the soundtrack). (There are a quick work with film area and a bar for the soundtrack. I prefer space work Expert because I believe that it allows you to see better what is happening and therefore gives you more control over the project.)

If you have .mp3 files, I find they work very well. If problems, then consider convert the .wav format and then import into the project. See what works for you. There are those who prefer the .wav format which they intend as superior. Go with what works for you. Perhaps compare reading the vs version .wav .mp3 and determine if you can hear a difference in reading.

    We will follow your progress.

    Thank you.

  • Could someone tell me: How can I download the file "dumppo.exe" from the Microsoft website. Please write to me at: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy *; Thanks in advance.

I want to download the file "dumppo.exe" from the Microsoft site, but I can't find where to download it!

No longer seems to be available.

  • Download audio files from email

When I attach an audio file (mp3, AIFF, etc.) to an e-mail, it appears as a miniature black reading Control Panel. I tried to send such an email to myself to see how it will appear to a recipient, and it appears the same.

It seems so we can play music directly from the email, but there seems to be no way to download the attachment; control-click does not open a menu that allows you to display an attachment in the form of regular icon or download it.

If I first put the audio file in a folder and then attach the file to the e-mail address, which gets the problem, but in a rather cumbersome way. There must surely be a way to send an audio file to make it appear like a normal, downloadable attachment?

    I would appreciate the help.

PS: I realize that you can use the ' save' button in the upper right of the email, but most recipients of e-mails could expect to be able to save the attachment directly from its icon.

  • Download iTunes files in Windows Movie Maker on a downloaded CD?

    Hey,.

I'm doing a movie in WMM, and I tried to go into iTunes and import the music on a CD that I had already imported into iTunes. He gave me something the codec is not installed.

For the record: I have already read the answer of Yes, and it does not help me because it was things I had not bought and downloaded from iTunes. These songs, I am trying to import came from a CD, I bought in a store and jumped in my computer. Any help? I'm relatively stupid when it comes to such things, so it would be easy, plain-English-non-tech-chamois terms useful.* *.

    Thanks in advance! (:

    Hi, pepper,

    1. you try to import the music from iTunes to WMM (Windows Movie Maker)?

The files you want to import into WMM should be supported by WMM else, you will get this error message.
To better understand about codecs, see this link "Codecs: frequently asked questions": http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Codecs-frequently-asked-questions
You can also use Windows Media Player to copy songs from an audio CD, check out this link for more information: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Rip-music-from-a-CD

  • Send Audio files in Windows Mail

I could not send an audio file to WAV (62.8 MB), MP3 format (5.7). Am I limited in Windows Mail? Is there a way to get around this?

You are not limited in WinMail, but you are by your server. 62.8 MB is enormous not to mention sending it's code. That triggers the size by a third, and now it's a 83.7 MB file. A common limit is 25 MB, and many Internet service providers have a smaller limit.

Download the file on a site like Photobucket or SkyDrive and just email a link to it.

    Hi DragLee,

Windows Media Player is the default or integrated drive in Windows Vista. It can't be uninstalled or reinstalled. However, if a system file is missing or damaged, we can run sfc (System File Checker) scan to find and fix system files corrupted.

Try these steps and check the result.
Step 1: Scan of the sfc
    1. open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
    2. type the following command and press ENTER: sfc/scannow
3 restart the computer once the analysis is complete.
    4. check if the problem persists.

    For more information, see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Step 2: If the problem persists, perform the system restore to a date where the media player was working fine
    1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
    2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
    3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
    4. click on finish.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

I understand your problem and will definitely try to help you.

If you have a third-party antivirus installed, I suggest to turn it off and check if it helps.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

I also suggest you to turn off the windows firewall and check if that helps.

To disable the windows firewall, see the following article.

  • Download iso file of windows 7 does not give me the iso file. Help, please!

so I bought windows 7 Home premium on discount for students. I received a confirmation email telling me to download either an EXE or ISO file. I decided to download iso, however, after I finished downloading and extracting the zip file, I got a folder (name X 15 65733) and inside does not contain an Iso file. Instead, it has a bunch of folders and files, one of them is called setup.exe. I click on the file setup.exe, which explain that the setup.exe is not a valid win32 application.

so I can not upgrade my windows xp to windows 7 right now, let alone burn it to a dvd. can someone please? Thank you!

The X 15 65733 file is the file .iso Windows 7 Home Premium image. You have to burn to a dvd as a bootable disk to install Windows 7.

  • Cannot read the CD in the CD/DVD drive after having burned the audio files in Windows Media Player

I burned an audio cd with windows media player, it works on my computer but not on a cd player (I tried several players). Any ideas what I could do wrong?

    Original title: Windows Media Player

    Hello

Please check the format to which the disk was burned. If the drive is made to a data disc format, several readers of cd or dvd will not be able to read its contents. In order for a disc in a cd player, it must be created in a format supporting by the player, which varies according to different manufacturers.
