  system information: HP DV6 LAPTOP, windows vista sp1

  When I try to install windows vista sp1 disks/recovery partition that I get the error recovery manager prompting me to choose either to see the details of the failure or restart: CTOERROR.flg as a Notepad on my desk. I did try 100 times but nothing helped. I can't restart after this recovery failure message because it shows the dialog box when restarting: windows security update is not properly installed or is not approved. So, I have to go through the process of recovery again to see the desktop (any operation - music video, internet, all), but only once.

  The last time I got this message too. When I did the windows installation of recovery a few months back discs, this time I figured out to install all updates IMP to automatic update via update of windows. All updates have been installed successfully, then it restarted and gone through the process of language settings, time settings and everything...

  But this time when I'm trying to update windows, I get windows update, error 0 x 643 which is updating security for .net Framework 3.5 sp1 and update family. I don't know the answer how to exit with this error "windows help" and also this forum too, which asks for the installation of the updates of the .net framework from the windows update site directly. But the problem is:

  Updated Windows ask me to restart windows automatic or manual update installation takes place and restart causes problem because it shows the dialog box - windows security update is not installed successfully. I need to install all updates at once like last time of my understanding. :

  2. in the alternative, if I try to install the update failed everything first just after the failure of the recovery it doesn't allow me to install important updates for vista sp1 and asked to restart windows.

  All I need is to update all updates via windows automatic update that is not happening at the moment.

  Not even be able to upgrade to sp2 bcz it also restarts for installation.

  Download Service Pack 1 will not convert in a disc in Windows Vista Service Pack 1.

  A recovery disk will not be useful to perform an Inplace upgrade to.
  You will need the original Windows Installation disc.
  If the disc that came with the computer, then it would be a drive OEM (manufacturer). This disk can only be used for a reinstallation of Windows.

  I just bought a Netbook NB305, the first thing I tried to do was to create a set of factory restore disks because I ended up returning an Acer Aspire one because of the same problems (shop admitted there was a problem even after Acer spread it) so I thought I would try the Toshiba.

  In any case, I thought that I would try and burn restore disks but the machine is just do not have it, and I don't see why I should pay Toshiba to buy discs for something that their software should do.

  Someone at - he heard about these problems and what you can do. ?

  I created a nother restore CD that have 2 DVD and the problem was still the same.

  I used a copy of Windows7 rebot and install the windows7.

  * MY QUESTION IS :*
  WHY WASN'T THE RECOVERY DVDS? Despite I have create a RECOVERY DVD that have 2 DVD.
  I don't think there is a scratched in original recovery DVDs which sold with toshiba labtop! because the recovery DVDs I created Windows7 and the the same problem same labtop.

  If you have successfully created the recovery disc ad if the procedure is successful then the installation of the recovery disk should work.

  I m not very well why you aren't able to recovery of the unit using the recovery disk, but you should check the BIOS.
  Access the BIOS by pressing F2 and you must set the default settings.
  Save the changes and try to reinstall the operating system using the disk recovery again.

  If this does not help then go to BIOS and select compatible SATA to AHCI mode and then try reinstalling the operating system.

  Default CSCuc35326 correctly adds the missing entries in the catalog, but unfortunately, it is not the only change that you need. While studying this issue, we found that there were still other issues when the catalog is upgraded only. Who finished with internal defect, CSCuc45686, which has corrected others conditions observed during internal testing. As stated in CSCuc35326, an updrade to 2.0(5a) will certainly solve the problem completely.

  I understand that the customer do not want to upgrade the UCSM version, but the current scenario is explicitly warned against it in our release notes. Cisco as sayss that there should not be a mixture of host, firmware UCSM and FI/IOM. They should be running all components of a same version level / group.   Fast forward to no - I tried to document this process for future use and finds it difficult to connect to a host in the cluster.  I don't know if it's just identifying information issues (I've tried everything I know, and of course, at some point, I knew what it was) or if the cluster is up and functioning normally, if I am unable to connect to a host.  Basically I don't want any of this to go down in the future and discover that I don't know what are the credentials.  We use our creds field but I understand that those who are not what you will use on a host.

However, in most cases vCenter Server is added to a domain, and the hosts are autonomous machines, i.e. to use the "root" user to log on if necessary. If this is not possible, "Lockdown" Mode can be activated for guests!

  Thank you for that. There seems to be a variety of commercial tools out there, and some that seems doubtful. In any case, I managed to resurrect an old machine with office, installed Thunderbird 31.8 on it and successfully made the import. I then had a bit of work to do to find the correct profile files, the installation creates a profile directory in AppData/Local/Thunderbird as well as in AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird. Roaming profiles is the device. I copied the contents of the Profile / xxxxxx.default on the machine of relief to the Profile / yyyyy.default on the new installation, replacement of existing items, and voila, everything is good. Now to upgrade to the latest version of Thunderbird.

  Just for interest, what is the function of the premises/Thunderbird/profile files?

  What you have found, it is an error related to the "Kanalorientierte Speicherung" in DIAdem DAQ.

  I have attached the corrected header which should be able to load binary files correctly.

  The size of block in the header of the TDM is accidentally on the length of the string that is expected instead of the binary block size.

  To determine the correct block size the length in bytes of the values in a single file should be determined.

  In your example:

  40000000 -online 8 + 8 + 8 = 24 (3 float64 values);
  20000000 -online 4 + 4 + 4 + 4 = 16 (4 float32 values)

  If this plant often occure in an environment I would say to turn off the mode 'Oriented channel' as a workaround.

• A vCenter Server failure recovery

  Hi all

  I'm relatively new to VMware and now find myself with a serious and perplexing problem.  We have a cluster of two ESXi hosts with approximately 20 mV for connections a DVS.  Recently, we noticed that the Server vCenter, who also works as a virtual machine has become inaccessible.  Using the VI Client I reached the host that the vCenter Server is running and found alive, but without a network connection.  Reviewing its network settings, I found that he was still the real network set up but it was not "connected".  I tried to check the 'connected', but would receive enigmatic "caused by 0" error message in the newspaper work.  Tried to restart the server vCenter Server, no change.  Tried to change the setting so that it is turned off, no change.  Finally, I made the tragic decision to remove the connection network altogether and try a new.  Although the deletion went beautifully, but as you can probably guess, I now can't add a network card!  In fact I can make any change for the network adapters from one of my virtual machines due, I guess, to the configuration of the DVS and that, even if they are fortunately pumping packages in and out through their 'data plan', the 'control plan' of the switch DVS is located somewhere in the bowels of the vCenter Server...

  My question is the best way to recover my vCenter Server without affecting my virtual machines.  Should I create a new server vCenter Server on a physical server and support clusters with its two hosts?  How this would affect my productions receive VMs? or y at - it an easier way?  What happens if, on the host where my vCenter VM is running, I had to remove one of the network adapters of the DVS back to the simple virtual switch - I was then able to use this network adapter to add to my vCenter Server and get it back up and communicates with the two hosts?

  As all my virtual machines are running without problem, I want to ensure I can retrieve my vCenter without negatively impacting on them or do something stupid (yet!).
