How to solve the problems of windows 10 shut down (power, lighting the keyboard is always on)?

with regard to my question above. I need to hold the button of power for 5 seconds to completely shut down my laptop. even restart or sleep does not work well. I upgraded a real victory 8.1 to 10 free victory by that windows app reservation offered. IM using acer aspire v5 - 573 g i7, version gt750m, Finnish keyboard

solutions, I tried to random searches that did not work for me.
1 unchecking quick stop to power options
2 disabling hibernation in cmd (types a code forgot what I have)
    3. update all drivers and bios with sites acer official drivers, driver pack solution 15.8 and utility driver update intels
4 decommissioning intel management engine components driver 11 to 9.5
    5. go to the bios and reset to the default settings
    6 make a shortcut of "shutdown" with codes e.g. shutdown /s /t 0
    7. click Update stop

IM thinking of reinstalling windows 10 via recovery which removes applications, files, drivers, etc. and hope this solves. I can't roll back to win 8.1 because ive done this reset before you completely clean out my system of win random 8 and trashes the restore option was gone.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello/Hallo wuschel93,

exactly what I had. Stop number appears only after a certain time the laptop running.

The problem is INTEL MANAGEMENT ENGINE RELATED V.11!

I fixed it with uninstall Intel Management Engine Version 11. Windows will then install version 9.5 automatically. After that I turned off the automatic update of the driver for this device. You can also install 9.5 without uninstalling the old one, it wil crushed.

Other manufactures also have this problem, but while Acer is still asleep, they provide a solution (including download links):

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-systems-and-software/sleep-and-shutdown-issues-after...

Maybe there are any other issues that result in the same problem. But in most cases, it's the answer. The thread Starter maybe forgotten to disable the automatic driver update or made installation of v9.5 evil?

If it goes, try to go to the web site of the manufacturer of your hard drive, download their diagnostic tool and run all tests on your drive. Do not tun Analyzer Windows disk that will do nothing for you.

  • "A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer"... * STOP: 0x0000007e (0x805c49b8, 0xf7a172b4, 0 x 80000003, 0xf7a16fb0)... blue screen

    Hello!

For the life of me I can't figure out how to get my machine to boot successfully. Nothing changes when I choose Safe Mode, last known good Configuration, enable VGA Mode, booting, Directory Services Restore Mode or Debug Mode logging.

It's very stressful, because I'm right smack dab in the Middle a semester at the College. I have most of what I currently need access to supported illuminates... but not quite all :( It is also very reassuring to be able to take care of the school of work away from the library of the University. Yesterday, my computer was working fine... I think that Windows has completed an update, if I can't remember now. As I woke up this morning, I was not able to boot all the way to Windows only once.

My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv6000 running XP Media Center, and I have not installed new hardware since I bought the machine about 3 years ago.

Here are more details, where they can help in the diagnosis of my problem:

    • ID of the system board: 30BB
    • Type of processor: Genuine Intel(r) CPU T2250
    • Processor speed: 1730 MHz
    • Total memory: 1024 MB
    • Video memory up to: 128 MB
    • BIOS version: F.06

Here's the entire message to the blue screen:
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Make sure you have enough disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video cards.

Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS. Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advanced startup options, and then select Safe Mode.

    Technical information:

    STOP: 0X0000007E (0X805C49B8, 0XF7A172B4, 0 X 80000003, 0XF7A16FB0)
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I also learned to a blue screen that says something about "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA". I think that this happens when I try to start safe mode.

Also, I never did much with computer problems beyond what could be repaired with the restoration of the system... so not being is not able to boot at all me has to stop. Please, I beg you! Help me?!

With great appreciation for your time,.
    Damaya

    Quick suggestion

Some HP partition the hard drive. have you tried to type F11 or F12 during startup (before that he go to the option mode start screen)? It might take you for a HP recovery program in that partition (because windows don't be loading not to use that recovery)
    Good luck
  • Windows XP SP3: Hang all night @ "Windows is shutting down"... "Start button / stop is my only option?

I don't know where else to ask this... been going from one site to the other, books, etc., for hours looking for titles of threads that fit, but always leave out this something... medium or average power down.  do not use the power button, except if no other option out there.

When I left my pc last night, everything seemed fine.  I decided to leave it on and not yet started to disconnect, etc..  Not sure if there was anything during the night (update?) which requires a reboot, but, when I'm happened to pc this morning it was hanging at the "Windows is shutting down" screen... "Windows and continued so for a few hours I tried to understand.

This happened to me for the first time last week.  I don't have another source to the internet at the time, so I have 'given' and ended up using the power button.  I rebooted and immediately stopped to see if it would happen again, but everything was fine.  (Knew I should have troubleshooted!) The pc seemed so far.

I read a number of suggestions to solve problems in other posts, but they all begin with the assumption that the pc is in a State of "exploitable".

Step # 1 is need now is my only option to turn off, forcing a stop down with the power button?

I'm going batty at this stage.  Any guidance appreciated.

    It might be.

I know that superantispyware does not remove itself completely as you use their uninstaller or add/remove.

Obviously, it's one of their drivers still installed, you must remove this item and then check if you still have a problem.

    Post back with the results.

There are several posts on this problem, perhaps one of them will help you if removal of the driver does not.

  • HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m wireless disconnects once the system is shut down

I use the HP Photosmart Plus B209a-m on a Dell XPS 16 with Windows 7 64 bit. I have set the printer to connect to the wireless router Belkin isn't on the network. I have setup the printer several times and had it work wireless several times. Once the PC is shut down, the printer goes offline. I have to restart the installation time and time again to bring wireless online. I added the MAC address of the Belkin router and I have the camera had confidence in my Norton Firewall. I keep seeing "HP Network Support Automatic (delayed start)" in services, but by changing it seems to make a difference, I still need to run the installation once after the system is shut down. I see also two printer icons in devices and printers. We're just the Photosmart printer with a generic printer icon; and the second is Photosmart printer, Scanner, copier with a picture of the Photosmart which I believe it should be. I ran the installation at least 10 times and I get a good wireless system work then after that the machine is stopped for the day the printer is offline and do not print. How can I stop the printer goes offline in wireless mode?

    I solved the problem.

I put the IP address to the MAC address of printers in the router.

I put the printer to TRUST in the network settings on Norton Security Suite.

The printer works wirelessly all the time now.

  • USB ports have power when the PC is shut down. Power supply connected to the battery.

PC is HP G62 - 222us W7 64-bit.  When the PC was first powered, they gave me the option to allow USB ports ON or OFF after his stop. I chose IT, but now I want ports USB OFF after his stop.  I can't remember have this option is found. Any help would be great.   Thanks in advance for your help...

I found my answer: Control Panel Goto (W7), search for 'power', click "Change the Power settings", click on "USB settings", click on "USB selective suspend parameters", for the battery, select "Disable", except change, click OK.

Now, all USB PORTS are INACTIVE when the PC is shut DOWN.

  • Locked in "Windows is Shutting Down"

    Salvation;

Version 2.0.6 of fusion.  I just installed the updates of Windows XP Home Edition and had chosen the option restart.  I was working on something on the Mac side and also had to do a restart.  I thought that Windows restarts has been completed, but it was not.  When I turned the computer back on, my Fusion is stuck in windows is the stop downwards and I tried blocking down and reboot of the guest, sending a ctrl-alt-delete, but don't know what else to try and I Googled it and did not get a response.

I really appreciate help with this!  Thank you very much!!!

Hold the Alt key while clicking on the virtual computer option in the menu bar (and keep Alt until you have selected an option in the menu!). 'Shut Down' would become 'Force Shut Down'.

  • Help: Windows XP comments stuck on "Windows is Shutting Down"

I have a guest Windows XP computer that is stuck on the screen to close.  When I try to shut down or restart the Virtual Machine in the menu prompt, Fusion wonder if I'm sure, and when I say yes, nothing happens.  The only thing I can do is suspend and resume the comments.

I don't have a snapshot to restore.  Is it possible that I can 'pull the plug' and force the VM to start to clean?

    Thanks for any help!

Click the Virtual Machines menu and press the Option key, and then select Power Off.

What is a BASIC SYSTEM DEVICE?
I appreciate your help in this matter. TNX and lots of XZEXZ ++? René

[Edited by: admin on 21 January 06 11:17]

    Hello

The base system device is usually drive card or PCMCIA slot or both. Some manufacturers of laptop to group a set of drivers and call "Chipset" even if it includes more than the chip set.
I guess you didn't install the driver chipset or you have it install but in the wrong order. The chipset driver must be installed first.

Well, windows want to stop because some background processes are running or due to a failed OS. I guess that this problem doesn't occur with the Toshiba Recovery CD because all the drivers are installed properly.

    On the procedure of BIOS:
Please check this page from Toshiba. You will find an instructions how to upgrade the BIOS.
    IOS http://eu.Computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/FAQ.jsp?z=234&service=eu&from=faq_selection&CFID=B & FID = TRO0000000b07

But please note: the incorrect BIOS or an incorrect procedure may damage the motherboard. First, you need to check if the new facility with the restore CD will solve the problem before you start the update of the BIOS!

    Good bye

  • Stuck on the screen saying 'Shutting Down' after trying to install SP2 on Vista

So I got problems with my Windows Vista. The day passed or it would freeze completely, all programs not responding. I looked around, and he said that a possible solution would be to install SP2. So I did. As he installed the first of 3 updates, it got stuck at 44% for an hour. Then, she moved to say Shutting Down, which was during the last two hours.

I don't know what to do now. During the installation, he said do not put off your computer, and while it is said that is no longer, I'm still hesitant to do. Any ideas on what I should do? In addition, would set the gel I described previously by SP2? Or do you know of anything that could be causing it?

Update in Windows and connected to the Internet with a little time on your hands and knowledge.

Open Internet Explorer, go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and do CUSTOM scan and determine what updates you need.  Install them.  Reset.  Repeat the visit, CUSTOM and see if updates (one of those that you just installed) back upwards.  Just list those here (KB #)...
