Blue screen error: "your pc has encountered a problem and needs to restart only collecting some information and we will restart for you ' and restart the loop.

Separated from this thread.

Mr. Govind,

My computer had the same problem for three days and at the beginning I thought that someone or something is trying to access my computer because I never had this problem before. The first time it happened that I was watching Netflix and noise emissions became rough as if something was interfering with it. Out of nowhere my computer then blue with the error screen that you indicated above. The next day the same thing happened. Then the third day, the BSOF appeared and I just let it take its course instead of shut down my computer as I did the previous time. While everyone has had an endless loop, my computer was able to restart and works perfectly well. I wonder if there is nothing wrong with my computer and if there are what are the steps I need to take for repair?

  • Error - Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and must close in Internet Explorer & jump - rises in Windows Explorer.

Original title: Windows/Internet Explorer / Data Execution Prevention.

I constantly receive pop-ups Windows and/or Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Windows Explorer in particular sometimes will do every few seconds.  I also sometimes have a debugger of Dr. Watson popup that blocks everything on my computer.

I also get a pop-up Windows Data Execution Prevention indicating that Windows has closed this program to help protect my computer.

My icons on the desktop this process will sometimes disappear.  I am able to restore in the Manager of tasks by clicking on the following:

    "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Menu Démarrer\Programmes\Accessoires\Explorateur Explorer.lnk"

I can't go online most of the time.  Sometimes I'm able to sneak in a "back door" by clicking on a link in an email, but time is limited (from five minutes to five hours) until I started offshore.

    Please notify.

    This root killer Webroot suggested?

Are you going to provide the other requested information (requested) on your system and if not, why not?

Did you run the scans listed in my previous post and if not, why not?  I am reluctant to work on weird problems with XP if MBAM and SAS have not been executed.

So far, I never saw a Microsoft Support Engineer in these forums effectively resolve an error DEP in the 'right' way.  Sometimes, they have some things to try (how that works for you?), but you don't need methods to try, you will need to do things that solve your problem.

I doubt that you have a memory problem or disk - which is not what causes the DEP errors.

If you have made any exceptions DEP in XP to try and get your working papers, you must cancel all DEP exceptions to go forward.

If I've ever seen Windows Explorer crashing and DEP errors, here's what I've done to understand what is happening:

When the Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) is wrong (especially when right click), begin to suspect third-party add-ons explore extension.

Those who would be the Explorer extensions that do not belong to Microsoft.  This means that extensions that you have added.  Solution Explorer extensions are generally well and installation of certain applications will install extensions from Explorer solutions for you, give you a choice and sometimes they can be added without your knowledge when you
    install new software.

Solution Explorer extensions are sometimes added as a new right-click option, you see on folders and files (like the scan of this file, open that file, play this song).

If there is something in particular that you do during exploration that you know will be the cause of the problem, which will help focus on the problem and the help that you suddenly know, when you have found and corrected.  If you can get there when you want it, make an adjustment and then there is no message the next time you don't do anything, you do, you have found and corrected.

First of all you need a way to see what modules explore you have installed now and a way to turn them off (not uninstall them) so you can understand that we are at the origin of the problem.  You can have a lot of extensions not installed Microsoft don't even know you about.

Download ShellExView here to see what Explorer extensions you have loaded:

    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/shexview.html

ShellExView does not install anything on your computer, simply of runs and displays.

After launching ShellExView, under Options, choose "Mark non-Microsoft Extensions" and extensions not Microsoft will be pink, clear, but on some systems which is a difficult color to see, so click on display, choose the columns and move the column Microsoft closer to the top, so you can see on your screen without having to scroll left and right.

Click on the column header for "Microsoft" sort display (by clicking on the column of Microsoft) if all non-Microsoft extensions (all the 'Our') are on top and easy to see.

Non-Microsoft extensions would be things you have added (non-Microsoft) and are what you should be suspect.

You can also Google the name of a suspect add-on and see if there is any success on the mistakes of the DEP and what other people have done about it.
    You can Google something like:

Explorer XP crashing (you must fill in the name of add your suspect on).

See what kind of search results hits you get and are looking for solutions or situations that sound like yours.

I'm not a defender of trial and error, but I can't think of another way to do...

Right click and disable the non Microsoft extensions one at a time (or maybe in groups of 3-5), keep a list, so you can enable them again later if you wish. The result of the change is immediate and no reboot is necessary.  Test your failure condition.  If the Explorer starts to behave, you will know that an extension of this group of 3-5 is the culprit in order to start to enable them one by one until the Explorer fails again.

If you recognize all the extensions that have been added or recently downloaded, start with these first.

Disabling the extension does not uninstall the extension - it is just disabled.

Disable them one at a time until your right click on do not generate an error, then restart and test again.  You have disabled the last extension would be suspicious.

You can also just disable all non-Microsoft extensions, restart and allow them one at a time until you find the one that generates the condition.

If you have a large number of extensions, you can disable them is small groups, 3-5 at a time instead of 1 at a time until your system starts to behave.  When it does not, you will know that the problem is one of the extensions of this small group and you can enable members of the Group at a time until the problem returns, then the problem is with the last extension that you enabled.

The hope is that you will find an extension that caused the error, and then you can figure out what on this subject - either uninstall it or see if you can get an update of the author of the extension of their web page.

I have not your problem, but I can when you toggle extensions, the extension is immediately disabled, so disable an extension does not seem to require a restart, but if you think that you have found the problem, I reboot and repeat the test in any case to be sure the problem disappeared.

If you post your non-Microsoft extensions list, maybe someone will recognize it as a potential problem.

If you find the offending extension that's the problem, please let us know what it is that I can add to my list.

If complains in Internet Explorer, run Internet Explorer with no Add-ons and see if you still have the problem.

If Internet Explorer then runs OK with no Add-ons, you can determine what add-on is the cause of the problem.

Fortunately, Windows has a built in option to run Internet Explorer with no Add - ons (imagine that).

To start Internet Explorer with no add-on, click on start, programs, System Tools, then choose:

    Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)

If you can't find that, click Start, run and enter in the box (or copy/beyond the next line):

    "C:\Program may Explorer\iexplore.exe"-extoff

Click OK to start IE with no Add - ons.

IE will launch with a message reminding you that it runs with no Add - ons and ask you to click on the button Home (do) and then you can visit the web pages where you might think that you will get a DEP error.  Pages may be different, but you want to see if you still get the DEP error message or not.  You can then activate the Add-ons one at a time until find you the one that is causing problems.

When I try to load or use Acrobat Reader, I get a message that Acrobat has encountered a problem and needs to close.   The problem seems to be related to the fix to windows installation I get a message asking if the patch installation is correct or who are permitted.   If I try to remove Acrobat Reader I get the same message and deletion does not continue.   If I try to download a new Acrobat Reader installation stops with a message that Acrobat Reader is already installed.   What should do?

What type/model of CPU do you have in your host? Make sure that in the case of an Intel - "Virtualization technology (VT - X)" as "Execute Disable Bit (XD)" - are "enabled." In the case of an AMD processor, it's 'No Execute (NX)' which must be enabled. Make sure that you turn on the host after changing any of these settings in the BIOS, a simple reboot may not be enough.

If this does not resolve the problem, please join the virtual machine vmware.log file to a response message.

  • WANT to PC dv7: at startup, I get a blue screen with a :( Your PC has encountered a problem and needs to restart.

While I was using my laptop I received a message that HP was running some sort of program disagnostic and in the end, he asked if I wanted to repair the problems. I declined the offer. However, the next time I turned on the computer, I saw the first time the HP logo, then the message "automatic repair Preparation". After a few seconds there is a short rectangle that flashes on and disappears. Then I got a blue screen with: your PC encountered a problem and needs to restart. We will restart for you. "Who starts a blue screen and reboot cycle. Blue screens replacement error messages saying: "If you want to learn more, you can search online for later for this error" and once it will say 'FAT file system' and once 'NTFS file system. I have spent to support HP dv7 ENVY page and tried the suggestions of repair without success. Is it possible to go beyond these two error messages and their blue screens to get my system working again? If so, how?

    Hello

Error code 24 characters is a failure of the short test (DST) disk Self and would indicate that hard is defective and must be replaced.  It is also consistent with your description of the problem.

If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange for the disk replaced - if necessary, you can check the status of your warranty here.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

If you are no longer under warranty, it's a fairly simple procedure to replace the HARD drive yourself - a brief guide on this is below.

Readers on the following links are examples that would be perfect for your laptop.

    Hard drive 500 GB

    750 GB hard drive.

    1 TB laptop hard drive.

The procedure to replace the hard drive begins on Page 56 of your maintenance & Service Guide.

About reinstalling Windows 10 on new HARD drive, as long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after upgrading to Windows 7/8.1, you can simply create your own Windows 10 installation media and perform a new installation as described in the guide on the following link.  Note: On the activation screen, select "I have not a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

  • "Receive the error message" your PC has encountered a problem and needs to restart.

Original title: stuck in a reboot loop, can't connect.

Today, my laptop (VAIO, Windows 8) restarted while I was there and since then has been very slow to start. During loading, I get messages such as 'Your PC came across a problem and must restart' and then 'preparation auto repair' again and again.

I have tried rebooting several times and sometimes I'll get to the login screen, but when I log into my account (which is the only one available) it says "could not load user profile. Right now, I restarted and did not get to the login screen. It says "repair disk errors. This can take more than an hour to finish."

Windows 8 is the operating system that is installed with the system. I tried to boot into safe mode several times (SHIFT and F8 at startup), but instead to get a menu of options the computer says "Your PC encountered a problem and needs to restart" and starts all over again.

    Hi Geo,

What is the model number of the Sony VAIO laptop?

This problem could be due to corruption of the system files, I suggest you try to perform auto repair using Windows 8 disc of Windows recovery environment (WinRE) and check if it helps.

To run auto repair on follow computer Windows 8 as follows:

    a. insert the media (USB or DVD) and restart your computer.

    b. press the key F12 (usually it's F12, but it may differ between computer manufacturers) and choose the drive in which you inserted into the installation media.

    c. once that the Windows Setup window appears, follow these steps:

    d. click Next , and then select fix your computer.

    e. you will then see a blue screen and an option to choose. Choose the Troubleshooting option and select Advanced options.

    f. you can choose automatic repair of the advanced boot option.

Keep us updated on the status of the issue.

20 days ago, I bought the HP Pavilion 219tx ab.

This problem will occur again. Is the front offset and this crash is a problem hardware or any glitch in windows 10 or something els

This blue screen is caused by a process in conflict with Windows 10. Something that you have downloaded which is incompatible with Windows 10 perhaps.

  • Blue screen of death or :( Your PC has encountered a problem and needs to restart. We are only collecting the error information, and then we'll restart for you. Error on Windows 8

I read my threads where people are facing this error blue screen dead on Windows 8, the cases are different but this error message is the same, I share picture of the error message, it looks like this.

    My case

In my case when I turn the laptop for the first time it freezes, displays this error message and restarts normally. On the home screen, it shows me a message send this problem to Microsoft. Laptop works very well subsequently without any problem, even if I reboot later it loads fine, but if I stopped and starts from at the moment, it shows same error screen. When I look into the details, it shows me these details. draw the image.

I did it as a result of things to understand the issue:

    • I thought it's a software problem, so I format my windows disk and reinstall Windows8 - the issue has not been resolved.
    • One of my friends suggested me for a complete format, I moved my data to external HARD disk, formatted my entire drive, deleted partitions, make new partitions and installed Windows 8 - the issue has not been resolved.
    • Someone suggested from material with my HDD to check it out, so I used a different HARD drive, formatted, deleted partitions, made new partitions and installed Windows 8 - the problem persists.
    • Restore all settings to the default BIOS - the problem persists.
    • I have connected HDD my friend with Windows 7 to check my machine and it worked fine.

In my research, I can't understand what is really the cause of this accident, there would not be any software parameter or virus as on formatting windows that all this problem would have been solved. It is not the HARD drive for sure as I have done everything I know to see if it's the HARD drive that is causing the problem.

Dear members and experts from Microsoft, this is the first time I participate on this forum and think that I explained everything concerning the problem I face and the research I did to solve this problem, I eventually failed, please guide me how I can solve it. My laptop is out of warranty and I don't want to pay for something that I do not know exactly.

    Waiting for your expert advice.
