Blue screen on HP Smart 520-1070 UK

Hiya all!

I had a HP Smart UK 520-1070 for two years, no problems, the fact is that I love it! Yesterday, frozen screen I had to turn it on, the power button went to the usual black screen, or start normally repair options. try both, I go to a blue screen Uni, not the usual with the error messages and writes white. Looks like a blue curtain or a wallpaper that comes with your PC, white with no writing, you can see my cursor arrow of my mouse, looks like much more than normal, as in safe mode, I can move it, only thing open for me is in the power off.

I tried all the keys functions 2, 8.10, 11, 12, when I try to use the restoration, repair, safemodes etc ect. everything always goes back to the blue screen. I haven't added a new hardware or software, no Center Download Windows for days. I did an AVG virus scan and Spyware Scan two days earlier, just good. Defragmentation of disks all checked and doesn't have or need to Defrag.

Upwards, I have 4 drives I did when I got the PC, first did my DVD/CDboot, started loading of STI. disc starts loading then finally goes back to blue screen. I can't afford to have this fixed by HP for my next step is the local engineer, no problem if it can return to the factory settings, but if the hard drive was missing I am sure that I will get my windows seven back but I'm afraid I'll lose everything HP as T.V. Beats Audio and etc touchscreen. Is this the case?

Is it possible to but a disc of HP to help me get up and running with the factory settings, as Iam unable to access in the usual way of my system.

Sorry for the entire quantity long information and issues, but as you can see I think I can have all tried lol

I understand you want to know if you can get a HP disk to fix the blue screen, you have found. I think that you are facing a hardware problem, but it would be cheaper if it's software and that can be replaced IF you can find a recovery disk. The only way I can help you get a new recovery disk is to provide HP support document: get a HP recovery or a recovery HP USB disk drives, which will describe and explain all the different ways to get a new copy of your recovery media.

    I have a G35-AV600 one I am trying to install windows vista.
    I followed all the instructions for the driver raid and all with pure install.

    But my problem is that, after the first reboot, I get a blue screen with an error message.

    I know that some people had the same problem since they were posted here but no solutions have been posted.

I swiched monitors and the same results. computer is used for family only, no company. It is running do not install windows 64-bit and some windows updates.

    Really sounds like a software problem, but could be a hard drive problem.

    Boot tapping F10 select your hard drive, then SMART support, run a short self-test. If it goes, try to run a last good known Configuration.

    Start type F8 and select last good Configuration know. This will automatically return the system for when it was working properly.

    Am also having problems with the blue screen when you restart to install the updates of security (1 blue screen while the computer turns off), which began before 11 security updates 13 Oct.

    Missing or not valid file or item causing windows/internet to freeze and crash. A BSOD (blue screen) shows a second and the computer restarts back on the desktop with no other problems. This happens only when I open/close a video too fast or I use some (L100 - 30 Hercules) aircraft in FS9. All other devices work fine. I sent an error report to Microsoft tonight when this happened. It conrcerned 2 files in C:\ Docs & Setting\All Users\Application data\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Projects\System Index\System... (couldn't do the rest, but we had to do with the XML extension..) I am using Windows XP Pro with Service pack 3 and all updates.

    Is there a simple solution for this? I don't want to reinstall XP if I don't have, as my drive my being corrupt. I'm not sure. I also used some older programs that I have used for years that run fine on XP but will not work in Windows 7 even with Virtual XP Mode installed.

    I had already tried this and it was not a hardware failure. I ran chkdsk and the player revealed a good with no bad sectors. I also use Belarc COMPUTER management systems that manages the health of smart HDs (HDs most have this 'Intelligent' ability). The problem was some legacy software that I thought that I had taken when I did a removal of the program.     When you use F12 to select boot device, what device were chosen to boot from?

    It would be a good idea to test your bootable CD on a computer running.

    A good idea before you start things must first verify the integrity of your file system by using the chkdsk command.

    In the command prompt window, run the chkdsk command on the drive where Windows is installed to try to fix any problems on the afflicted player.

    Running chkdsk is fine, even if he finds no problem.  It won't hurt anything to run it.

    Assuming your boot drive is C, run the following command:

    I was able to run the memory test and it came back without errors. I was not able to get to "repair your computer", as the beginning is never far away. When the computer reboots, it comes to the sequence: normal mobo beeps (five) than even that when the system was working fine... then I get the graph of the mobo splash screen EVGA P55 SLI,... then black screen with "Windows loading files"... which appears just above the loading bar (it looks like gage fuel fill from left to right).

    Once the bar then "fills" Blue Screen of Death!

    It's EXTREMELY frustrating because it was built for me by an employee of INTEL (very smart read), all latest drivers etc. Very little software loaded on the system. Most of the aid that I read guess you can operate within Windows already... Catch 22! I can't!

    I have a HP dv7 laptop. In October, my hard drive died, and I sent it to replace. Two months later I came back and install a new copy of Windows Vista Home Premium on it. Since then, I haver been getting a BSoD equal driver_irql_not_less_or_. The technical specifications are 0x0000000D1 (0x0000E001, 0x00000000A.0x00000008, 0x0000E001).

    I ran diagnostics on the hard drive and memory and still can't find the problem. Can someone please?

    You can ignore the memory diag. And chkdsk too if you did a full surface scan, but review logs of events anyway.

    Blue screens are caused by defective material or defective hardware drivers.

    To see if a fix is available

    In Control Panel (and select Classic discovered in the left pane) select reports on the problems and Solutions (problem of type in the START search box), go to historical problem, right-click of your error and choose check for the Solution. You can also right-click and choose Details for more information. Post the details here.

    To see if any recent system change caused it

    In Control Panel (and select Classic discovered in the left pane) choose Administrative Tools and then choose reliability and performance monitor and choose the monitoring tools then the reliability monitor (type reliability in research on Start). This list is a chart of the software installs, uninstalls, updated Windows and crashes by date (scroll left to see earlier dates).     It will analyze the crashdump. You must close and reopen WinDbg for each analyzed dump file. Because you download symbols from the internet WinDbg seems to be to do nothing. But it's the download. Be patient.

     
    Looking for a driver or a library system that the incident occurred at the end of the list. Find the file, do a right click then Properties - Details tab. You must update the driver identified.

  • Blue screen after installing pentium D 960 on windows vista

    I recently bought a pentium D 960 on Ebay. It works very well for a while, then I get a blue screen Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area. My computer is a compaq presario sr2163wm. Compaq said that the processor should work. I don't think that the processor is bad because I ran it on the same machine with linux Ultimate Edition 3.0 for 3 days straight without any problems.  also had a blue screen which says something about an incorrect header? I had problems with windows stop but not the material, before I installed the processor. I just reinstalled windows with source material (the only way to really install windows with a recovery cd). One last thing, I use a Galaxy Geforce GT 520 to 810 MHz and 2048 MB of DDR3. system has 2 GB of DDR2 ram. chipset is a xpress 1100 ATI (northbridge and sb600 southbridge. 4 mb. bios RC415 latest revision 2008 5.34 (5.3 something) metagrads, Inc. of vista sp2 fully updated home base.)

    The combination seems to be OK, based on the specifications of the motherboard.

    You can contact HP about the problem you are having and see if any similar problem has been reported with the Pentium D 960.

    More recently when installing a new driver for my wireless smart card; Ran a mem Bios and hard disk check came back ok. Which leads me to believe it's a software; This blue screen popped up after that ride updates of vista, which was released around early August made a rear roll and everything worked fine. The blue screen would leap upward when I could connect to a wireless network; not had time to play with it so I just rolled back the update. Finally had updated the driver today and it blue screened after installation of the driver, so I am at a loss, any help would be very beneficial.
