Bluetooth printer

Hello

I found an example of code for printer dpp - 350 bluetooh in this link: http://www.datecs.bg/get_file.php?lang=uk&soft_id=CC5F4062B36CD7ACC0F64F702C381B0B

First of all, I added the PrinterSDK.jar

Properties > Java Build Path > add external Jar > SDKPrinter.jar

Then I imported thePrinterSDKTest.java. I think I just need this .java to printer.

My problem is at this point. My application does ' t pass this point and I don't know the problem.

private PrinterSDK prn = new PrinterSDK();

Any idea!

Hello

This is my first response, sorry for the bad English

I used the same library with JDE 4.1.

In the previous request, I create another project add jar as a project file, I put it as "library project" (project configuration) and then I create a dependency between my project and the 'Library' project (in project configuration, you can choose another project like hand library).

With this library of the printer, I have had two problems:

-to compile it is possible that you have to preverify it

-If you sign your project, it seems it is necessary to sign a category of PrinterSDK, but the key is not a standard and I can't sign.

Finally, to solve, in eclipse I add the .jar as the project library, but not export it.

Doing this, you can compile your project but when you install it to device or Simulator, not work because the jar file is not present.

To install the PrinterSDK.jar I install the PrinterSDKTest application (I think you can find the PrinterSDK.alx file for download) and with it the PrinterSDK module is the addition of BB (and you can try the application).

It is not a solution elegant but is the only one I found.

Good luck!

  • Is it better to buy a wireless printer or a bluetooth printer?

I would like to know if its better to buy a wireless printer or a bluetooth printer?

    Hello!!

A wireless printer works faster because it has a data transfer speed faster than a bluetooth printer. So if you go with a bluetooth printer remember that printing may take a little bit at the end.

  • How to make the bluetooth printer or wireless active

    Hello

    Its spaces, it must:

    Connectivity

    HP ePrint ability NO.
    WiFi functionality NO.
Connectivity, standard Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port
    Connectivity, optional None

To make this printer wireless, one option is to use a wireless USB print server, something like one of them:

    https://www.Google.com.au/search?q=USB+wireless+print+server&hl=en&TBO=u&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENAU282&source=Univ&TBM=shop&SA=X&EI=R5vJUOjiEoqZiQfeuIDwBg&SQI=2&ved=0CEoQrQQ&BIW=1920&BiH=976

My suggestion: buy a new printer, can end up better and not need to have headaches.

Another option If your caught router supported (can be used) print server USB and in this case, no need to buy the mentioned above device.

    Kind regards.

  • OfficeJet pro 8620: Wireless officejet pro 8620 Bluetooth printing

At work, I have a new HP officejet pro 8620 with wireless printing functions.  The office, with what I would use it is rather old and not compatible wireless outside the network working.  I bought a bluetooth device and installed on my desk, thinking I could get the printer to recognize this.  No go.  The printer (also installed on my desktop) recognizes the WiFi here but not the bluetooth on the desktop and is not on the same network as the desktop computer.

The printer did not join the same network as the desktop computer.  The Office cannot access the network that can access the wireless printer.

I thought (wrongly?) that the bluetooth device would work to create a network between these two singular.  Help?

Is the printer close enough that you could connect with USB?  The 8620 Officejet Pro is not compatible Bluetooth.

  • Bluetooth does not print PDF - JO 150

I recently bought an OfficeJet 150 Mobile AiO. Its specifications (HP) said that the supported formats are PDF, searchable PDF, PNG and many others.

However, nowhere says that some formats are not (apparently) be supported at the not printing not via the USB port. I find this odd since you can print all formats on USB that takes care of your PC, not printer.

    Problem:

I turn on the printer, it will not connect to PC. Turn on Bluetooth on the printer. Now, I send a PDF file to the printer from my Android smartphone. I get "format not supported response" (of the printer). The smartphone can read this PDF very well. In fact, it is this same specification of HP I linked above.

I do the same thing with PNG and get the same error.

Now, I do the same thing with a JPEG image and it prints fine.

    Question:

Why / if JO 150 says spec PDF is supported when it is not? PNG? What are in fact of the formats supported by this model?

    Hello

This isn't a limitation of the printer, instead of the operating system Android on its bluetooth print limits profile.

Any format of file supported within its specifications refer to a computer, not on a mobile device.

The specification list clearly what mobile devices are supported, or Apple or Android devices support such and such support is not claimed.

Please find the technical specifications below, see "Bluetooth printing with a mobile device:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-OfficeJet-150-mobile-all-in-one-printer-series---L5/4231411/model/4231412/document/c03143772/

Also check comercial specifications below, the specification do not list any Android device as such:

Print directly from Windows Mobile® phones and BlackBerry smartphones.[2]

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/product/HP-OfficeJet-150-mobile-all-in-one-printer-series---L5/4231411/model/4231412/document/c03143772/

You can check 3 third-party solutions such as printer sharing that adds direct Blutooth print capabilities from an Android device:

  • Bluetooth for HP D1560 printer?

I can't find any info on the ability of my Bluetooth printer.  I found a HP for printers bluetooth adapter and a small adapter change squares the printer port to a port of rectangle to accept bluetooth device, but no need to buy these if it does not work!  Thanks for any advice, Sandra

    Please specify,

The HP Deskjet D1560 is a USB printer, using any accessory will not any caoabilities mobile devices as the printer does not support enforcement ePrint AirPrint.

Such you will need another printer, a Direct wireless printer allows printing through a wireless network without router.

  • Bluetooth for printer L411a

My computer does not recognize my printer. And Yes, the bluetooth is turned on.

I recently bought the mobile printer Officejet 100 and it is unable to connect by bluetooth. I am able to use the USB cable. I've installed, uninstalled, reinstalled several times. I have tried from different computers which are all HP. All of my computers will recognize my HP 7510 bluetooth printer, but not the 100. If this isn't a problem of bluetooth with the computer. I used the CD that came with the printer, but also a driver online to HP.

I also connected the printer using a USB cable and box tools to access the bluetooth settings. I've renamed the printer, I changed the high and low level. I am still at a loss.

A sidenote. The first time I installed the printer driver on my HP laptop, it found the printer. Then he wanted to know what the name and model of the printer so I took out, because it means that the computer has not found the driver. I have not been able to recreate this situation since.

  • Why am I considered the possibility of adding my phone to my printer via bluetooth while he was trying to set up my printer via wifi?

WHY I WANT TO CONNECT MY PHONE (BLUETOOTH) TO MY NETWORK, WIFI PRINTER?

I'M TRYING TO CONNECT MY PRINTER TO MY LAPTOP WIFI AND WHEN I TROUBLESHOOT IT, SHE ALSO ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO ADD ONE ANY BLUETOOTH DEVICE.  WHY WOULD I WANT TO ADD MY PHONE TO MY PRINTER?

Its generalization, the meaning if there are other devices on your network, you want to add to your network.

There are two main types of network printers: Wi - Fi and wireless.

    • Printer cable equipped with an Ethernet port to which you connect to your router or hub via an Ethernet cable.

    • Wireless printers normally connect to your home network using a Wi - Fi or Bluetooth technology connection.

Some printers offer both options. The instructions provided with your device should tell you exactly how to install it.

To install a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer connection

    1. Click to open devices and printers.

    2. Click Add a printer.

    3. In the Add Printer Wizard, click Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

    4. In the list of available printers, select the one you want to use, and then click Next.

    5. If prompted, install the printer driver on your computer by clicking on install driver. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    6. Perform the steps in the wizard and then click Finish.

      Tips

      • Make sure that you are allowed to use these printers before adding them to the computer.

      • You can confirm that the printer is working by printing a test page. For more information, see print a test page.
