Run and see if it sees pitchbend data sent by your keyboard... and therefore by logic.

  • Printer/scanner and CD/DVD drive do not communicate with my computer.

My printer/scanner and CD/DVD drive do not communicate with the computer.  A message reads: command line compiler Visual c# has stopped working. All the drivers for my devices are updated and current. Exclamation points are noted in these devices in Device Manager. This seems to be a registry or a motherboard problem. While in the Device Manager, I clicked and uninstalled devices and then restarted the computer, hoping that the pilots would be automatically reinstalled correctly. It did not work, and nothing has changed. I've never had a problem like this before. Any suggestions?

Problem has been resolved by removing the UpperFilters registry key.  Both the old and new readers are working properly. Thanks for the help and time.

  • ePrint still listed as offline on laptop when you try to print work but printer D110a

I literally tried everything to resolve the question in the title. I'm fine with the networking. I'll run down the list of things that I tried to solve this problem, or the important factors that someone would need to know to help me:

    • It's my work, laptop which I use at home
    • I am running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional
    • All my wireless devices have Internet access
    • I can print on my printer D110a, but only via the ePrint option, which takes more time, because the packets must be sent via the Internet
    • I removed the D110a of devices and printers; HP ePrint is still listed as a separate device
    • The laptop has a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port
    • My router is a router dual-band running at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies
    • I connect using the 2.4 GHz frequency
    • The laptop has a built-in wireless card which can achieve up to 72Mbps access
    • I have a Wireless N adapter, which can connect to my 5 GHz band and up to a connection 300Mbps; I removed the adapter and ensured that I am connected to my 2.4 GHz band
    • Other printer drivers HP for printers that I use at work are installed on my laptop
    • I tried to uninstall and reinstall both complete drivers and base for my D110a, but during the installation, the wizard can find never the printer despite the fact that he obtains the valid IP address (192.168.1.x) private on my 255.255.255.0 network
    • I hid my 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz SSID, the D110a attached to the old, but my 2.4 GHz SSID is hidden is no longer and the D110a shows it is connected with a valid, private IP address that is not in use
    • The printer IP address statically has been highlighted, but I since changed to DHCP
    • I had the MAC address of the filtering enabled for network devices, but I've disabled since
    • I tried to remove the power of the modem, router and printer at the same time, wait a minute or two and then restore power to the modem, router and printer in turn before confirming that, once again, my wireless printer can connect to my network and rent a valid, private IP address that was not in use by another device on my network

I read that the HP CUE DeviceDiscovery Service could confuse a laptop that is used between a job and a home network, if other HP printers are available on the work network unless the service is disabled when switching between networks. However, given that I'm trying to add the printer D110a from home, I imagine that this service must be enabled and started. He is currently in a State of the road with a manual startup type.

Oddly, although I can access the Internet from the 2.4 GHz or the 5 GHz band, I can't ping my gateway (192.168.1.1) when I'm logged in without wire, or I can ping some other devices on my network, although I see they are connected in the UI of my wireless router/gateway. The router is connected to a modem, but the router is configured as a DHCP server and assigns IP addresses to devices that are trying to connect to my home network. I think that my modem is on a different subnet, with an internal IP address of 192.168.0.1 not 192.168.1.1, which is the IP address of my router/gateway. Curiously, I ping my router and other devices on my network so I am connected directly to the router via the Ethernet port. I went into the Windows Firewall with advanced security, and I see that echo for IPv4 queries are allowed for any type of interface (wired or wireless), but this only applies to a domain (that is, knitting) network, only. Perhaps a rule should be created to allow applications to echo on a private network (i.e., mine), as well.

Maybe I should not worry about this, because the solution is just to print on the listed HP ePrint peripheral, but it is ridiculous that I can't print to the D110a locally. Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Respectfully,.

    Eric Sternot

Solved! I already knew how to reset the router, as I did several times, but thank you for your diligence.

Anyway, after my router wireless network configuration backup, restore and then return to re - enter the data, I noticed a field called 'enable wireless of isolation '. The description on the information page of the router down the right to say read, "If checked, the under this SSID wireless client can only access the internet and it can not access other even wireless clients under the same SSID, Ethernet customers or this device. Other customers can access the wireless client, either. "No wonder I couldn't ping other devices on my network, while my laptop was using wireless, too! I restored the original configuration of my router from the backup file I had created and then connected, box unchecked "enable wireless isolate" and saved my configuration. I could then all connected devices - wired or wireless - ping on my network, including my printer D110a. I could also print on it locally.

Thanks for your patience to help me solve this problem. I know it sounds dumb, since workaround has been just to print the D110a on the Internet by using the device or the ePrint service, but at least I learned a little more about the configuration of firewall ports and what "isolation wireless" was.

  • Wireless printing works, but kills internet

I use an Officejet Pro 8000 A809n for wireless printing.

I recently changed routers wireless since a Mac Airport Express to a NetLink.  I restarted the printer setup.  It works now, but every time I use it I can't access the internet more than any of my computers.  First of all, I have to turn the printer power off and restart the modem and router and then I'm back in business.  This procedure of course deny the convenience of wireless printing.  I would appreciate knowing what to do.  I think it has something to do with the allocation of IP numbers, but I don't know much at all.

    TIA

    Rick

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • "display driver has stoped working, but was recovered" and then shuts down the system. "

I have a problem with the opening of my yahoo email because my computer just Bonnac outside and flashes once or twice and says "display driver has stoped working, but was recovered" then shuts down the system. " Itsriving crazy me :(     (I have windows vista & pentium bicoeur.)

This means that there is a problem with your graphics card. I suggest that to update your Windows and check of course latest service pack installed. Also check Windows problem and Solution Center and see if everything suggested installation listed there. It can make it appear to update your graphic card.

If this isn't the case, try looking in the card of your gaphic provider or your PC support Web site to update its driver.

  • HP Deskjet 3054: Printer works but not the Scanner (device not found)

Configuration: Windows 8 Lap Top with a HP Deskjet 3054 directly connected via USB

    Printer - it works

Scanner - when you run the Application "Hp Scan and capture ' it comes back and says"device not found ".

I tried - I ran 'HP print and scan doctor '.   Everything is OK except the "HP Scan".  He said that it was not able to find the HP Scan software on my computer.   When I went on HP customer support site to download it, I couldn't find it.  There is nothing that I could see which says "HP scanning software".   So this software HP Deskjet full functionality and drivers what I should download and install?

BTW, the "HP Scan and Capture" application allows to work perfectly.  Not sure why it isn't now.

    Hello

When changed the type of network to a USB connection? scanning HP and Capture app support network scanners, it does support a USB connected device:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03478505

In the HP Deskjet 3050 software select scan a Document or Photo and check if this can work...

If the same persists, unplug the USB, uninstall the HP Deskjet 3050 basic software drivers from programs and features, then download and reinstall the most comprehensive software features again.

If you prefer to continue to use the HP Scan application capture &, open the HP Deskjet 3050 software, click the utilities tab, click the printer installation software & and select Convert USB wireless to connect the printer to your network. then the Scan & Capture app should detect the scanner.

  • Bluetooth randomly, and now the device is not detected

    Hello

I bought a laptop 15-J108la want a month ago (8.1 Windows 64). I also bought a Microsoft bluetooth mouse to use with it.

I first noticed mouse stoped working randomly, maybe 2 times a day. Sometimes it was enough to turn off and on again to get it back, but sometimes I had to reboot.

I updated the driver bluetooth (Bluetooth 4.0 Driver Intel, 2014-01-18, Version 3.1), the problem persisted, but seemed less frequent.

After you install an update for the wireless network card device manager today announced that Intel Bluetooth 4.0 device has been failing. Try to dissable and reactivate, but the device has simply disappeared. Now the Device Manager indicates an "unknown USB device" with error 43, and Bluetooth devices are not detected, no matter how many times I reboot.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    Ricardo

Using the generic drivers provided with windows 8.1 instead of Intel drivers, finally solved the problem.

No more intermittent, peripheral stranger either.

I was foolish enough to install the latest driver updated to Intel to see if it has addressed the problem, but it was as bad as before. I had to go back to the generic drivers, once again and voila: everything works like a charm again.

    I hope this helps others.

And Intel: come on, you should do better!

    Hello

See this Microsoft KB article and check if that helps.

How to troubleshoot unknown devices listed in Device Manager in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314464

When you install a device driver and Windows detects that it is not digitally signed, you receive a warning message and the option to cancel or continue the installation this message only appears if your computer is configured to display a warning message whenever an installation program attempts to install a device without a digital signature driver.

Note A device driver is signed digitally can still be listed as an unknown device in Device Manager.

For more information about driver signing for Windows, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:
