  • Need help with virtual shelf - drag and drop between components?

    Hello

    Im trying to create a virtual shelf, where book spines are clips of individual video that can be dragged and re-ordered on the set.  For the moment I can drag the thorns to a target affected, but not just any target or "nudge" the position of other books along.

    I'm sorry that if that's a little vague I'm not experienced in as3, please do not hesitate to ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer.  IM thinking that a table is necessary which occupies the posts, but I'm not sure how to put it all together!

    Any help is greatly appreciated! The code I have so far is:

    import flash.events.MouseEvent;
    import flash.display.MovieClip;

    var dragArray:Array = [red, blue, green, purple, yellow];
    var matchArray:Array is [target1, target2, target3, target4, target5];.

    var currentClip:MovieClip;
    var startX:Number;
    var startY: number;

    for (var i: int = 0; i < dragArray.length; i ++) {}
    dragArray [i] .buttonMode = true;
    dragArray [i] .addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, item_onMouseDown);
    matchArray [i] .alpha = 0.2;
    }

    function item_onMouseDown(event:MouseEvent):void {}
    currentClip = MovieClip (event.currentTarget);
    startX = currentClip.x;
    startY = currentClip.y;
    addChild (currentClip); bring to front
    currentClip.startDrag ();
    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, stage_onMouseUp);
    }

    function stage_onMouseUp(event:MouseEvent):void {}
    stage.removeEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, stage_onMouseUp);
    currentClip.stopDrag ();
    var int index = dragArray.indexOf (currentClip);
    var matchClip:MovieClip = MovieClip (matchArray [index]);
    If (matchClip.hitTestPoint (currentClip.x, currentClip.y, true)) {}
    a match was found. Position the clip on the corresponding clip:
    currentClip.x = matchClip.x;
    currentClip.y = matchClip.y;
    make not draggable:
    currentClip.removeEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, item_onMouseDown);
    currentClip.buttonMode = false;
    } else {}
    football match has not, so send the clip to the back where he began:
    currentClip.x = startX;
    currentClip.y = startY;
    }
    }

    Yes, you can double click on activate your movieclips and assign the function double click listeners who use navigateToURL

    dragArray [0] .doubleClickEnabled = true;

    dragArray [0] .addEventListener (MouseEvent.DOUBLE_CLICK, f);

    function f(e:Event):void {}

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.adobe.com"));

    }

  • HP 8500 has more scan not scan - I hear a fast spin and the book will not draw in the charger

    HP 8500 has more scan not scan - I hear a fast spin and the book will not draw in the charger. I tried a reboot, including disconnect the motor from the power analysis. A software update was just pushed through today as well, but the problem with the scanner was before this update. This update took place after the power has been turned off, then on again.

    The problem occurred this morning during a prior scan + back. I heard a click or pop/fast spin, something that indicates something was wrong, when he tried to feed on the 1st backsheet through for the scan of the back. Now, it won't take what anyone, even to make a copy using the feeder.

    When I look at the roll holder bar above paper, I noticed that it does not drop down to make contact with the paper he move to the scanner itself. I remember having this problem once before - there are 2 years, while the warranty was still in effect and does not remember how it was resolved.

    Any suggestions would be welcome. I don't want to buy another printer just to get the scanner to feed again. The printer itself is fine and scan from the bed is not affected.

    For anyone interested, I sloved the problem of roller scanner do not push the paper into the ADF.

    I turned off the printer last night. Today, I removed the power cable at the back of the printer and then unplugged the power cord from the wall. It was off for about 30 minutes. I reconnect the cable to the printer and the wall, the printer running and waited about 10 minutes. So tired the charger scanner again. It worked and I don't know why.

    Yesterday, I tried a version of what I found in the documentation for HP support. He said to do, but not to turn the printer off first. He has not worked for me.

    I don't know if my path has really had no effect on the results, but it works now and I don't have to think about buying a new printer for awhile yet. I like this idea!

  • How to 'remove' the spine on the scans of an old book?

    I am currently working on a project that has to speak of a book printed in 1631. This book contains a series of illustrations that are on a gap. Because the book is old and rather special, gaps analyses show the distinct Thorn. Is there a simple way to Photoshop to hide this problem?

    We hope to hear from anyone.

    Kind regards

    Is there a way that you could photograph each page separately, taking only half open book (for example, with one flat side and the other held upwards)?  Get rid of complex perspective distortion is not negligible and it will take a LOT of work in hand with complex curvatures and lots of eye or.  I don't know what is your purpose of quality, but you'll probably a better time of it, if you start with two sides that are themselves more flat to start.

  • Impossible to stop mac pro book

    Since last week, I have been unable to stop my mac pro book and manually press the power button. When you try to use the close option under the Apple, the desktop icon and the dock are visible, but the toolbar is missing. The spinning gear icon that usually appears to let me know that the computer stops is also absent. My computer seems to be in limbo, and I have to manually close the TI in holding the power button. When you restart it, there is an error message indicating that there was a problem during shutdown of the previous session. There is no clear program that is running that I would be able to force them to leave. How can I determine what might be suspended from the computer and do not allow me to shut down the computer properly?

  • Art as a PDF book

    Hello people,

    I recently created a page 90 Art book in InDesign (CS4 then CC), I need to create PDF of. As this is an art book, there several double page spreads, so I need to keep the same format and design when exporting to PDF format.

    I created the document in book of art as "Facing pages".

    I've also attached a couple of screen grabs as to what happens when I try to create a PDF file

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thank you

    So, what's the problem?

    If you export as single pages, you can set the display for 2-up in Acrobat. Alternatively, you can export as spreads for display but you would still need unique pages for printing.

    I reconsidérerais some of these discrepancies as the edge of a part of the work is located on the spine.

  • CC Adobe tried to run for 5 hours on my new book surfaces/windows 10. no idea what is happening?

  • Book module: error text/fonts when recording

    Get an error while downloading them on Blurb or save as PDF on the desktop.  The error indicates a "textual error and the police ' everything and save the project in two places.  No choice, just don't give up.  Lightroom continues, but I can't successfully download on Blurb or save as PDF in Lightroom.  LR 5.7.1 on a PC with16GB of ram and 500 GB available storage on my HDD.

    My project is over 170 pages of images and text on the cover (with an image), the back cover (with a picture) and the last page of the book that was entirely text.  All used at different sizes of Arial text and that doesn't seem to affect the problem.  Neither the presence of text on the front and the back and the spine.  After scanning below the Forum I came across a question of I_AmTaterBug 13 Sep 2013 16:01 with the same problem.  After looking through the suggestions I tried to change fonts (without success) and finally replaced the one and only one page of text (the last page) and replaced by one that had an image and text.  I lifted the text on the previous page and pasted in the text portion of the new page.  Then I added an image to the other side of the page and retested.  Voila... no problem!  Maybe it was the last single page of text, but for some reason, he ran in PDF format and then upload to Blurb.

  • Book cover design (printed)

    Hello

    I'm new in InDesign, if I have some experience with Illustrator and Photoshop, so the menus and toolbars are familiar.

    I tried to find a tutorial that will teach me how to set up a book cover. I want to talk about the basic layout only. For example, I can create a work plan for the front, one for the back and one for the backbone. I can provision each and bring exactly as I want it, but I can't understand how to create a work plan unique where I have it all together and can easily adjust the spine to adapt to changes in the number of pages.

    Can someone tell me how to or point me to a tutorial where I can get the Info?

    Thank you.

  • Books of InDesign and set up for a single page and spreads

    Good afternoon everyone,

    I am currently working on an InDesign book that has about 40 documents + a table of contents.

    This document will be printed and perforated, so I incorporate the space required to do on my drawing by we also publish this doc as an electronic copy.  Is there a way I can my unique installation page and I then export document for printing with setting to rip the margins for the punching of holes?

    Thank you

    Ren

    Certainly more complex development for two-sided printing, but you might consider adding a slug or a further bleeding inside edge which could be included when exporting. If the pages are blank near the spine, purge would do with no specific provision (inside the purge is at the edge of the other page except if you divide the spread out). "" If you need to divide the pasta spread, you can use the script you will find at InDesignSecrets "Blog Archive" Pages Breaking Apart to bleed off the coast a thorn or http://www.printisrael.com/indesign/scripts/freeware/SeparatePages.jsx

  • Help with a page advertisement in program book

    Hello

    I finished to create an ad for a book program and I cannot get it to every right impression or when I had to do it right, I now have a right margin entering the fold and I my ad goes on the margins of 1/4 on the bottom.

    First I created a 8.5 in. by 5.5 in the size of the page (size of the program book) because I will use 1/2 on this page for my ad. I finished my drawing, can it print. My design is out landscape rather than portrait standing page on the page. I think Im getting her because of the way he wants to print it.  There are no many choices in the print options to print a certain way (at least I can't find it) to say things.

    Now, after playing with that a few times, I somehow finally got to print in the top left of my paper (actually regardless if its upstairs or downstairs).  When I fold to 8.5 in. x 5.5 in and stir in half the book, I can see this is not configured correctly.  I don't know if its on my end or if it is again the printer.  The right margin runs into the spine of my paper (or a crease) and the bottom of my ad ran over the fold in the middle. My left margin is at least 1/2 "away from the left edge of my paper. I need my ad to be 1/2 a 5.5 to 8.5 in page page. The ad is sold as a whole or 1/2 page.

    My page set up is as a document.  His game as the Page size: letter - 1/2 (I don't have not defined it?), width 5.5 in height 8.5, the orientation is portrait. I have a bleeding, but I don't need it and ignore it.  Ive started my ad on higher margin lines, but I did short announcement of the right margin, in order to leave the room near the crease inside where he could be stapled. I did not define these margin lines and do not know how to change it. When I added my substantive work, I pulled down until it turns PINK that I would like to know where is the middle of the page. But my ad prints on it.

    I need this announcement at least 1/2 "away from the margin top, left and right of the page and close enough to the 1/2-page mark, but not too much.  Make sense?

    Now, just a little back to the land. Ive designed books of program in the past using Publisher.  I designed a book of the entire program, with a blanket and I had problems very few do.  Now I use InDesign for the first time to do this and a little bit here hurt.  Printing of ID stuff is also driving me crazy. Im not like the way ID prints and if I tell my Epson printer how to print, it does not work and it keeps giving me trips crappy.

    Any help would be appreciated.  I need to turn this tonight, but I can't turn in a print ready device if its not print correctly.

    Thank you

    Tina

    You must set your document size to the final size of the room, so letter - half should be good. This is a model with a placeholder text:

    With respect to printing, it goes, do you want it to print on the right side of a page of A4 format sheets landscape, like this:

    If so, create a new document format letter landscape and place the cover on the page InDesign file and place it where you want. It should display this way, but do not expect exact positioning that you think it should the printer. With most printers, the image a bit one way or another by a small amount, even move one copy to another on the same page. Not as much as you described, but other spaces, you have between the area of the image and the edge of the page (with the vertebral column), it will be less sensitive.

    Try what I hear and see if it's better left. If not, come back and tell us what happened and maybe we can help you.

  • How to add a title to the spinal column/book cover?

    Hello

    seems to be a stupid question, but I couldn't find an answer in the videos by JK o any other help page:

    How can I add a title on the cover of the book he and the spine of a book blurb in LR5?

    I couldn't find any coverage model having the title (only a lot of text).

    Thank you very much in advance,

    schleifi

    Select one of the models who show "a lot of text. What you see as 'a large number of text' in the preview of the model is just an indication that you can add text.

    Type your title in the text box, and then type that information in the text box on the spine. For the spine, it helps if you get the display by pressing Ctrl / Cmd + U.

  • Why my docs insert two pages to the right of the spine?

    Hello

    I produce a catalogue with 23 chapters or more, so I have a lot of docs and I'm adding them to an InDesign Book(After I have filled them with content). The chapter/article begins always start on a right-hand page, the issue im having is that when the pages are inserted in any model number same chapter it will add them to the right of the spine. I have attached a screenshot showing the offending document "Pages" Panel. It adds to the right of the spine, even not in a book.

    Please, someone enlighten us, thank you.

    Long shot, but check to be sure of brewing is permitted in the wheel of the Pages panel menu.

    If this is not it, try removing minor corruption by exporting

  • Page numbering does not properly in the book file.

    Hi, I was hitting my head on the wall for a few days trying to understand this. I put all the documents to AutoNumber (times of the previous document). Setting in the section numbering in the preferences. The first 2 chapters of the book fly area of work and links to create consecutive page numbers. The remaining chapters are not. I opened another book that I did recently to see if it was something with InDesign. It opened very well, all pages consecutively. However, if I do an update all numbers, they turn into what I have here. So confused any help would be greatly appreciated. I searched the forums, online, called friends, everyone is puzzled.

    A picture of fly-fishing book panel is attached.

    Speedissue2.PNG

    It seems that if you start with a page facing left (inside the Cove page?). Therefore, the puzzle for ForwardSpread. I didn't need to do it once, this week. Uncheck the allow pages to Shuffle (counterintuitive to me) and drag the icons page if he course your view.

    Facing pages is not necessary to accomplish your document of a book, but is more a visual aid in the layout and possibly the elements through the spine. If it helps, and I do not believe, you can disable it in the preparation of the Document; be aware of everything that crosses the spine.

    The MOVE work around - if you indeed have auto-numbering, possibly the documents or the indb book filehave corruption. You can create a new book and upload existing documents to it fairly quickly; Moving pages in a doc to another would eliminate any document corruption. (You need to set the auto-numbering in the new document

    You can post a screenshot of option Chapter2 or Chapter 3 pagination?  (btw, you filed Chapter 2 was fine;) I'll be referring to the files in your original post)
