Boot camp won't load windows installation after partitioning HD

Hi, I am trying to install Windows 8.1 on my Macbook Pro (retina, 13-inch, early 2015, El Capitan). I have the ISO 64-bit file and load the application of assistant boot camp to make the installation process. She was able to partition my hard drive, and after that, he tries to restart in windows. However after a little more the blue screen with the windows icon turns into a blue screen with an emoticon, frowny face and a message saying "your PC came across a problem and must restart. We are only collecting the error information, and then we'll restart for you". After about a minute, restarted my computer, but in the mac OSX... How should I complete the installation of Windows?

Stop your Mac, start it and hold the Alt/Option key. If you see a Windows or Boot EFI icon, select and check if your installation will start. If it is not the case, use BC Wizard to delete the partition of BC and start the process.

  • Resized partition Boot Camp, now cannot start Windows

I have a MacBook Pro (with the retina) with a 128 GB SSD which was, until recently, evenly divided 50-50 between Mac and Windows 8.

However, I need more space on the size of Windows, so I reduced the size of the Mac partition to 40 GB and then, because for some reason I couldn't expand the Boot Camp one, I had to create another partition that I could use to put my stuff in side Windows.

    I did this via Windows.

I now, weeks later, started in Mac for the first time since, and now I can't get back into Windows. The partition is not present on the desktop, or in the boot disk utility.

    Hi MarkBerri,

    ·         How long have you been faced with this problem?

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

Svchost.exe is a process name generic host for services that run from dynamic link (dll) libraries. The Svchost.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32. At startup, Svchost.exe checks the registry services part in order to build a list of services that it needs to load. Multiple instances of Svchost.exe can run at the same time. Each Svchost.exe session can contain a grouping of services. Therefore, separate services can run, depending on how and where Svchost.exe is started. This grouping of services enabling better control and easier debugging.

Svchost.exe groups are identified in the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Svchost

  • Boot Camp 6 update does not work after update of Windows 10

I've updated to 10 Windows of Windows Pro 8.1.  With the help of a mid-2015 Macbook Pro 15 "of the retina.

I followed the steps on the Apple Support page, and everything is fine until the last step - by using Apple Software Update for the installation of Boot Camp 6.

Download OK, but then it crashes during installation:

What I have to install it from a USB stick or something?  I've seen a few other threads similar issues, but I don't know if it's the same problem.

    Thank you

  • Boot Camp can not install Windows because of the formatting?

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro (500 GB to 8 GB memory storage) with the OS X 10.11.3. I try to install Windows 8 Pro (64-bit) using Boot Camp. When I restart my computer after creating the partition, I have two USB ins journal. They say Windows and the other says Boot EFI. When I click on the option of Windows, I am taken to a screen that says that there is no bootable disk and restart with an inserted. When I click on Boot EFI, I did get into the Windows partition and can start set up for installation, but when I get to the stage where it asks me to install Windows, none of the listed drives are able to have Windows installed. I have a list of 4 disks, all drive 0 and then partition 1,2,3,4 respectively. 4 is the one that is 46.6 GB (I created Windows to be 50 GB), so I guess it's that I need to be installed in. However, when I click on any of the partitions, this message appears: "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is a MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows cannot be installed to GPT disks. Windows cannot be installed to this disk. Hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu. "After talking with the Apple support (who told me it was a matter of putting in the form any and to talk to the Windows how do I reformat) and Windows support (who took the opportunity to remind me why I had stopped using them in the first place), I think I have a better idea of what it means , but I have no idea what to do about this. Anyone have an idea how I can fix?

    You have two choices.

    1. use GPT Fdisk to delete the MBR and continue boot EFI. Later, it is problematic when you install the drivers for the Apple hardware.

2 use a USB2 flash drive and let BCA create setup of USB and partition your drive. No matter what Manual partitioning or manipulate the installer USB can cause problems.

  • Stuck Installing boot camp software support on Windows 10 for Mac Pro mid-2014

    Hello world.

    I have a mac pro mid-2014.

I installed windows 7 using boot camp and all worked fine

But my SSD has had some problems so I took it to the shop they replaced the SSD.

SO now I have a blank disc. I restored time machine (I deleted the windows partition when I back up)

now, I have just a single partition being original, I started to install Windows 10 by boot camp as usual. every thing works,

created the USB (I used a disk portable 1 TB, I bought recently), downloaded software and then prompted me to make the partition.

subsequently handed over running and starts the installation. window has installed fine and started, the boot camp installation window pops up and I click Next.

now, he will be always stuck to the point trying to install realtek audio.

no progress, no error report. I had to close the installation later, may not close properly due, try force end it.

have tried mnay times, tried windows 10 business and education. they are all stuck at the same point

    I don't see how I was wrong.

someone at - it had the same question or idea on how I can fix this?

Thanks a lot in advance, really frustrating one simple thing I had tried two days after work. ;(

  • Boot camp does not start windows 7 alley

I have the following Setup: Windows 7, Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 and Boot Camp.

The only thing I did was Boot Camp Manager to select Mac Windows as boot drive (at the time there was only 1 icon visible in the window, not the 2 that you expect!) (1 for windows and 1 for OS X).

But if I run the Boot Camp Assistant, it gives me the opportunity to remove from Windows 7, it seems that Windows 7 is here!

  • Bare metal 10 Windows Installer after the upgrade free on-site

I wanted to start a new thread on the specific problems with the reactivation of Windows 10 after obtaining your free upgrade by upgrade Win7 or Win8 on-site.

Someone has actually managed to make this work?

Have you taken steps to clone all parameters (such as the MAC address) of the upgrade virtual machine?

Have you had to call MS?

    Please chime...

Someone in my organization wrote the following:

For what should be obvious reasons, Microsoft does not publish details of their activation. However, several of the VM (.vmx, hard) files contain several unique hardware ID such as Virtual NIC MAC addresses, serial numbers virtual HD, a bios UUID, etc, all these values can be read by the guest OS. We know that the serial numbers of equipment like these are used to generate the hardware hash that Microsoft uses to determine the identity of an activation system, although the exact algorithms are secret.

We also know that when you copy a virtual machine to a new location VMware Workstation will ask if it has been moved or copied. If you select 'Copy' it generates a new UUID news addresses MAC, etc. and the system requires reactivation because as Windows is concerned, it's a different system or a major change enough 'material' to qualify as such. If you select "I moved it", it doesn't generate a new hardware ID and the system remains activated.

I'll need backup/snapshot my VM activated prior to the test, but it goes without saying that the start of the install media (Microsoft has a tool to generate or download the ISOs) and shape (or diskpart own) the virtual drive before doing a clean install on a virtual machine enabled previously, as you would on a physical system they wanted to rebuild , will perform a clean installation of the virtual machine and allow a reactivation by license terms for Microsoft. Assuming that automatic resettlement activation works as Microsoft said, is installed on the same virtual hardware as long as you don't tell VMware to generate new material ID's

    https://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO

On the reverse, there is also this 'feature' 'factory reset' which also supposedly returns it to a 'clean install' state you said could be another possibility.

  • Cannot load Windows 7 after installation of 2 critical updates (KB2436673 & KB2296199) - 0x800f0816 error Code

At 03:00 today, my computer automatically up-to-date with 8 updated reviews.  The computer unused satellite, power, up to 15:00 when I got home, date on which windows was trying to 'fix', because windows could not be loaded.  I did a system restore to a point before the updates were installed (02:00).  Goodbye My observer of events and concluding that none of the updates have been installed correctly, I have taken note of the errors for each (most were 0x800f0816, but we've been 0 x 80242016) and went through each update individually and install.  Two of these updates will not be installed.  After the system restart after installing, windows attempts to load.  The system automatically restarts and begins to repair windows.  Windows repair indicates that the system cannot be repaired automatically.  I chose a restore point from before the 'bad' updates are installed, and everything is fine.

I get the same error for the two KB2296199 of KB2436673 & failed installs: 0x800f0816.

Is it possible to fix this?  Or I'm just not going to install it these updates?  It is a newly built computer (last week), all the new kit stripped of equipment, new OS.  I have very little installed on this system.  I found no information regarding this error code or the latest MS updates online, or if anyone else has similar problems.

Any response would be appreciated.  Thank you!

    J.

Of course, if you cannot start the computer, uninstall the updates would be moot & system restore (or 'last good' known) would be your only recourse.
