boot Win7 0xc0000225 error

Hello world

first of all I would like to say that I'm sorry for my English, because I write of the Hungary.

I have a new laptop (Samsung NP-RV508-A01HU) and I installed a ultimate. the installation was successful but after that when he made the first reboot the system gives me an error message: 0xc0000255 and could not start, not even safe mode.
I tried to fine solution in google, but nothing helped me.

-J' have a newer bios
-I can not change (enabled/disabled) ACPI in the bios because it does not exist there.
-I can't fix with the installation CD because I got an error again: the can not fix this problem.
-I can't use system restore cd because it does not start after the reboot (of course it is an ISO file)

Oh I almoust forget it. I installed x 64, 84 x and XP as well.
When XP was installed, the system worked well.
When installing x 64 I got the error 0xc0000225
When x 84 has been installed after the reboot has been posted that windows starts but nothing had happened (like frosing)

so I tried everything I found in google, but nothing to help me, if you are my last chance.
PLS help me.

Hi NorbertReinhardt,

From what I found, this problem is due to a broken hard drive partitioning. To resolve this error, backup your data and reinstall Windows 7.

If your computer is originally shipped with Windows preinstalled by HP (as it should) - it would be better to use the HP recovery media that will repair Windows, applications, and all the default partition to factory. It will use the license of your machine for Windows and should automatically active Windows after installation.

If you are using the 8.1 Windows installation media, you may need a facility to post license Win (depending on the type of used windows).

-If you want to use the original that are preinstalled windows, you can get a HP recovery media as described above

-If you are using the 8.1 Windows installation disc and install Windows from using your driver's license, follow these steps:

1 boot from the Windows DVD
    2. click on install now
    3. in the configuration screen, click Custom (Advanced)
    4. click on Drive Options
    5. Select the partitions to format
    6. click on Format - this will delete EVERYTHING on this partition - format and delete all partitions
    7. create a new partition, and then select a partition to install Windows on.
    8. continue the installation.

If the Windows installation disc does not work for the above you can do the following to reformat your hard drive:
    1. download a Gparted ISO from here:
    http://gparted.org/LiveCD.php

2 burn the ISO to a CD or DVD
    2. start from the CD/DVD of Gparted disk.
    3. use Gparted to delete all partitions on the hard disk.
    4. under 'Device' choose Create Partition Table to a new table partition.
    5. create a NTFS partition (or you can wait and create a partition during the installation of Windows).

Finally, boot from the Windows installation disc and install Windows.

Let me know if it works for you

OK, I've encountered a problem and girlfriends laptop won't start.

It happens with 0xc0000225 error in Windows Boot Manager, I have as he asked and placed a USB bootable with Windows 8.1 in the port and pushed enter to continue. Loop it back to this page.

    1. I can't select boot device options. No option to boot from USB because it just doesn't go to this screen of BBE.

    2. product diagnosis system * removed *.

    3. I do not have access to a HP USB recovery or something else. I also can't create one as there isn't one on the 6-1091TX page.

    4. I formatted from the 500 GB drive and the disk chkdsk and it works fine

    5. I used the partition of 32 GB of SSD mSATA and it was in the GPT format with 8.1 64bits

    6. I've searched all over the web and have not found a solution

Also how can I do to find the serial number. I walked about all combinations, read every guide, but the numbers and formats are different and it's getting frustrating, using both the * removed * and looking at the * removed * I cant get support until I get the serial number, and then he told me to contact HP with no contact information.

Any help would be much appreciated

Fixed it myself. Took out the HARD drive and it starts in mSATA SSD with Win 8.1 with none of the drama. Reconnected it hotswapping, formatted as a primary partition, the installer on the disk HARD not restarted and now it works.

We both learned something new today.

  • HP dv7-1285dx Win7 BSOD errors

My dv7-1285dx worked perfectly until a few weeks before, now he wants bsod on me at least every other day, sometimes twice a day or more. Various bsod error messages (STOP, IRQ, etc.). No indication of something. At one point last week, I had to use the restore application to return two registry saved back to just run - before that it would not boot.

Error with nvlddmkm.sys are related to driver Nvidia but that only happened once. The last was something with a pilot and an IRQL is not an error (I'll follow upward with more detailed messages on this subject when they occur - sorry to be vague).

Problem solved by replacing SoDIMM defective.

    Tests with Memtest86 + was very helpful in tracking down the memory defective barrette. I ran the test 4 times to determine which module was the absence of ata and eliminate any hardware problem module slot;

    1. 4 GB SoDIMM in slot 0
    2. 4 GB SoDIMM in slot 1
    3. 2 Gb SoDIMM in slot 0
    4. 2 Gb SoDIMM in slot 1

I ran each test for ~ hour or two. I thought that I had a problem with the 4 GB SoDIMM but it turned out that the 2 Gb SoDIMM was the culprit with this testing methodology.

Replaced the 2 GB SoDIMM and revived the test overnight (~ 10 hours) with two SODIMM modules in the machine and found no errors.

    Hi Nutmeg30,

    • Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    • You have security software installed on the computer?

Learn more about the test of startup failures see link below on the Dell site and check if it helps.

Pre Boot System Assessment (PSA) Diagnostics and Error Codes for Dell computers

    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/KCS/document?docid=DSN_300428&isLegacy=true

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the flickering and high CPU utilization issue.

I suggest that you configure the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • Dual boot Win7 disk external eSata M4700 accurately

Because virtualization does not support some devices of HW, I need, I want to dual boot win7 Pro/64 at a (removable) disk external connected to my accuracy M4700 eSATA port.

eSata means better performance, but the start menu will be happy with a removable disk, i.e. wrong be connected permanently (obviously I does not start the operating system on the disk hard if it is not connected)?

And legal, is it possible to use the OEM license of operating system provided with the system for that?

As a question, are the BONES in a Win7 start menu linked to a physical drive on a specific Sata port? IOW, what happens if I move a HARD disk with a bootable partition / volume of the internal Bay (port 0) to an eSATA external enclosure connected to eSATA (port 5) port? The eSATA port is transparent to the Win7 boot loader? Volumes and drive letters remain unchanged and appear perfectly to the operating system on it?

    Hi Benoitm,

Assuming the M4700 can boot from an external eSATA port, this should be possible. And it should be possible to install on a HARD drive, then put this drive in an external enclosure and start it. Your preferences and your drive letters must be maintained. You can check that your system can boot from a first external HARD disk.

The Dell license covers only the version of the operating system that is provided with the system. In theory, the dualboot requires two licenses.

    My question is:

As you can see above, CMDTUX_CAT:825 might be the operating system error or the application has outbound server.

Can any help folk to resolve boot process scheduler error?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Please check and confirm that you have configured the kernel for enough shared memory segments and sizes.

    2. If you suspect does not connect to DB and then turn on tracing and see where this default.

    3. make sure that variable departure account and environment are configured correctly.

    4. assuming you start CRP on the same machine, I see a bit of conflict - u had started the thread with the process scheduler, but in your second response, application server is referenced.

    5. entire diary will help identify the problem instead of parts of it.

I've never tried the recovery from a USB key, but you can try another? Maybe the stick isn't compatible

From my own experience, I can say that not all DVD media are compatible. I made good experiences with 1-2 manufactured products.

This BIOS password can be deleted by authorized service provider available in your country.
I have no idea why a BIOS password is displayed if you have not defined it in the past, but it is impossible to delete this unknown password by common laptop user. The BIOS password is a very important security element, and only authorized individuals are able to remove it.

  • After leaving Win10 Win7 upgrade, error "operating system not found"!

My son has been upgrading its laptop Win7 to Win10.  The upgrade has been painfully slow (more than 7 hours) and hooked to 85% achieved 35% of writing configuration files.  The light of the fool presented no signs of activity of the HARD drive for hours.  In disgust that it finally just manually turned off and restarted.  Windows says it's re-installed his previous operating system.  Everything seemed fine at the time.

The next day, as he watched a training video and 25 minutes in the laptop just went to a black screen and showed 'Unknown device Boot' and "Can't find Operating System" error messages.  (Of course he had just looked away for a second because this happened and looked at the back after stopping the audio.)  Manually, it turned off and rebooted 3 times before it should start!

Is that going to be a problem for him in the future?  Now, he's not sure he wants 10 Windows.

  • 0xc0000225 error code - request installation media for Windows 8

I recently got an Inspiron 15R SE 7520 with pre-installed Windows 8. It has a huge 1 TB hard drive, I decided to divide it into three easier to manage partitions and proceeded to do so using EaseUS Partition Master. When you restart the system, I got the following error message:

    Recovery

Your PC needs to be repaired

A required device is not connected or is not accessible.

    Error code: 0xc0000225

You will need to use the tools of recovery on your installation media. If you don't have any facility (such as a disc or USB device) support, contact your system administrator or the PC manufacturer

    Press Enter to try again

    Press F8 for startup parameters

Press ESC for UEFI firmware settings

    1. you press on enter. Nothing happens

    2. press F8. Managed to find the option "restore factory settings". Saved and restarted. Nothing happens.

3 press Esc. Ran the system diagnostics and a few hours later, the result is that everything is fine. Restarted and I'm back to the blue screen with the first message.

I googled this problem, and all the proposed solutions begin by booting from the Windows installation CD/DVD and run a command at the command prompt. But:

I don't have any medium of installation of Windows and I can't go to the command prompt.

    I not create recovery discs.

And the recovery on the hard drive partition does not work.

    My request:

I obviously need an installation of Windows 8 media. How can I get? I contacted the store where I got the laptop, but they are not you answer, and the application form, I found online does not work for the United Kingdom.

A final update on this issue:

I got the DVD of the shop where I got my laptop since. But I couldn't boot from the DVD automatically.  in order to boot from the DVD, I followed the instructions here: http://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/110162/Add+Boot+Option+using+Insydeh20+setup+utility

After booting from the DVD, I got to the command prompt, and then run the commands like here: http://itsolutionsblog.net/solution-to-your-pc-needs-to-be-repaired/

! BUT! The last command line does not. It must be

    BCDboot c:\Windows /s /f UEFI z:

without the : after the f. And then, there is a confirmation message that the boot files have been created

And then my cell phone was able to start normally.

DVD players, I try are produced in 06/07 and are both the kind Multi (DVD-RW/CD-RW).

Thus, the system boots fine with the DVD player on. Once it is running, I can insert it into the machine, Win7 records and everything works fine.

I have extensively checked online but don't see any solutions. Any help appreciated woud. If it's a motherboard problem, I need to return it. Thank you.

I returned the map leading to the seller after knowing that when I can't enter the BIOS with the inserted DVD is basically a hardware error. After receiving a different motherboard it solved the problem.
