Bose AE2w Bluetooth pairing offline in Windows 8

My mobile Samsung series 3 with Windows 8 does not connect with BOSE AE2w headphones.  The device is added and troubleshooting all accomplished.  End result is the wireless device ae2w indicated (offline).  I spoke with Samsung, and representatives of Bose and they in turn have no problem on their end.  Both suggest contact Microsoft regarding the A2DP device Protocol in Windows 8.  Anyone else having problems with the Bluetooth connection with Bose system?

GOOD NEWS BLUETOOTH:

Finally, my AE2w was matched with success to my Samsung laptop.  Here's what was happening.  I DOWNLOADED WINDOWS 8.1.  I also installed the latest driver for Bluetooth, and it is now operational through audio gateway on this computer.  Check the store for Windows 8.1.  The download time is long enough, so expect to spend at least an hour in the process.  The helmet of AE2w its great!  Good luck to all...

I'm having the same problem with Microsoft sculpt touch mouse with Windows 8.  I can connect to my PC very well.  He usually works find but from time to time (such as for once or twice a day). It stops responding in the middle of use!  When you move the mouse on the screen, he stops suddenly and will not respond again. An audit in the framework stipulates that it is in offline mode.

I use to be able to get this back by putting the PC to sleep and restart, but now it got worse.  Can't seem to get it back.  I tried

I followed this post to another thread and it works:

I chose to upgrade my Sony Viao VPCJ12LPOE (desktop all-in-one computer) from Windows 7 to Windows 8.  The compatibility of Windows 8 Checker advised that I should I uninstall the drviers of Bluetooth of Broadcom (Widcomm) Windows 7 because they are incompatible.

After the upgrade to Windows 8, while the rest worked fine but I was left without means to connect Bluetooth devices to my PC. (a problem reported elsewhere in these forums.

I applied the following fix today and everything now works fine.

Bluetooth is an on-board unit that need compatible drivers Windows 8.

To repeat: I've updated two days ago and suffered the loss of my Bluetooth after having been advised to uninstall the driver Broadcom (Widdcomm) before the upgrade.

Today I installed Windows 8 compatible Broadcom Bluetooth driver from Lenovo web page (see link below) and since, I've added the following blue tooth devices successfully to my PC which is now running Windows 8 (all now the connection): my IPhone 4s, my IPad 3, my Panasonic music with IPod/IPhone docking station Center and my Lumia 800 Windows Phone works.

Copy and paste this link into your browser and download and install the Bluetooth Driver for Broadcom (R) s1blt3us17.exe listed.

You will then see the icon Bluetooth appears in your task bar in the lower right of the desktop you after a reboot.  Right click and select "add a Bluetooth device".  This will take you to the page of 'Device' in Windows 8.  Turn the unit that you wish to be added in the coupling mode and click on the + button of the unit.

Once added, stay patient and not go clicking around until windows has installed device drivers (progress bar blue small will appear under the name of the device).

Once completed, you find a new TILE will add on Windows 8 "splash screen" for each unit added.  Click on the tile for the device and the "set Bluetooth will start and appear on your screen.  From there, you will see the device you just added, and you can click on 'connect' (to link) and "disconnect" (to disconnect once connected).

I know that it works and my instructions here can trust completely.

    Hello

I m not 100% sure that if I understood exactly you <-->Bluetooth speaker problem.

According to your message, you can't pair BT speakers during the second use Profil2 if the speakers are already paired with the mer1. Am I wrong?

Well, in my opinion there are nothing wrong because the speakers were already connected to the laptop using the BT. to my knowledge you cannot connect any BT device if it s already connected using another profile.

I think you should always disconnect the BT speakers using the mer1 if you use it n t. Then another user using Profil2 would be able to connect the BT speakers.

I have a keyboard microsoft bluetooth keyboard 6000, after getting a blue screen that I lost the connection with the keyboard, when I try to associate the keyboard of my computer, the computer detects the keyboard, but as I go to the next screen, it immediately jumps to another screen that informs me that I need to use the code for pairing with the device. Why?

    Hi Freckles1,

1 have you used the matching code provide with the mouse and check if it works?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

Pairing code is another term for a number that associates your computer with a Bluetooth compatible device. The security key terms and pairing code are often used interchangeably.

Using authentication keys compatible Bluetooth devices

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/using-passkeys-for-Bluetooth-enabled-devices

First, I would say that you are using the pairing supplied with the product code and check if it works.

If the previous step fails then remove and then reinstall the device

    (a) click the Start button, select Control Panel, click hardware and soundand then click Bluetooth devices.

    (b) select the device that is not working, and then click Remove.

    (c) click Add, press the reset button on the unit (or make it discoverable following the manufacturer's instructions), check the box my device is set up and ready to be found and then click Next.

    (d) if the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it, and then click Next.

    (e) follow the remaining instructions in the wizard.

Make sure that the Bluetooth adapter for your computer is attached and turned on, and that the device is in use and detectable. If you don't know how to turn on discoverability, read the instructions provided with the device or check the manufacturer's Web site.

  • Bose Soundlink Bluetooth no longer works with El Capitan

  • iOS 9.2 bluetooth pairing

Does anyone else's problems do with Bluetooth pairing once upgraded to iOS since iOS 9.1 9.2? As soon as I made my Garmin Forerunner 630 was no longer able to communicate with my iPhone 6 (Note: it worked perfectly, while running iOS 9.1 before nightfall iOS which should be upgraded).

Measures taken to try to resolve the problem

    1. Forget the camera and rematching. This has compounded the situation - the iPhone could not 'see' the device to try to match.
    2. Pairing my Garmin 630 with a friend (Android based) phone - it works immediately - he can see the Garmin and cannot pair it, no problem.
    3. My Garmin 630 with my iPad Air matching - the iPad is also running iOS 9.2 and he too can not even 'see' the device.
    4. Pairing my iPhone 6 and iPad in the Air with a bluetooth (EU Boom) speaker - it works.
    5. Complete reset of my iPhone 6. Twinning with 630 Garmin still does not work.
    6. Reset complete my Garmin 630. No change.
    7. Following the advice of Apple here: Wi - Fi and Bluetooth: potential sources of interference wireless - Apple Support

    Conclusion

In summary, it seems that Bluetooth still work on the Garmin 630 and the iPhone and the iPad, but Apple has made some sort of change in 9.2 iOS that prevents matching with certain types of Bluetooth device.

    Similar reported problems

I've seen a few similar reports on support for other devices forums (not "seen" / "detectable") after the upgrade to iOS 9.2:

Does not connect via Bluetooth, iOS 9.2 to my home theater of sonny,

Since iOS 9.2 my Bluetooth PlayStation keyboard no longer works

iPhone 5 sec bluetooth not working after iOS 9.2

as well as more general questions of Bluetooth for devices that are already paired:

    No bluetooth after 9.2

iPhone 5 sec bluetooth not working after iOS 9.2

    iCade/bluetooth controller + iOS 9.2

None of the posts that i reference above gives no real solution.

    Questions

1 Apple Please recognize that there is a problem with iOS 9.2 on Bluetooth?

2 - is anyone else seeing problems similar to what I reported and the posts that I've referenced?

Problem solved, a bit of a schoolboy error.

For some reason, the iOS to 9.2 upgrade means that the phone and the Garmin 630 were no longer able to communicate. Try to pair again via the iOS Bluetooth settings screen did not work (the unit has not appeared).

It seems that matching works only if launched from the Garmin Connect app works on the iPhone / iPad. Once you have coupled the app will Garmin 630, then appear in the Bluetooth settings screen standard iOS, showing as connected.

    In summary:

    (1) not all Bluetooth devices will not necessarily be available for matching in the iOS Bluetooth settings screen (didn't know it until now), and

    (2) previously associated device no longer works after update iOS. Not a huge problem, but a bit annoying.
