  Swaps of the platform and the language are available only for the current version.  We are unable to directly sell Creative Suite 4 software it is why we are unable to provide the software in another language.  The advice you got is correct.  If you want to change the language, then you will want to purchase Creative Suite 6.

After the initial installation (with serial number) applications worked well (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.). However, I could only use Acrobat a few weeks before the software did not react more. After this time all pdf files can be manually opened with Adobe Reader, but not with Acrobat.   You should always uninstall programs.  Before that, however, you must disable by opening one of the applications in each different Suite and by selecting help-> Deactivate.

  Russellb48276717 you can find details on how to request an exchange of platform product for another language or version of Exchange platform .  As noted in Ned, you give up your Windows license in order to receive a license Mac CS6.  Creative Suite 6 licenses are platform specific.

  If you don't want to use Photoshop CS6 on Windows and Mac, then I recommend a creative cloud membership.  It includes access to Photoshop CS6, in addition to 2015.5 of CC of Photoshop, you can find details about how to install the previous versions to download and install creative Cloud applications.

  If you're referring at the origin of Creative Suite (CS1) then this activation server was closed by Adobe a few years ago.

  The only way to re - install now is to download a new version without activation for CS2 (also applies to CS1 owners).
