  I'm having a problem that "I have had since I have the laptop in the fall of last year. and this is my 2nd post on this subject.

  The problem is, I like to use the scroll box on the control area but can not.  There is no option for settings "scroll" when I go into Control Panel and the control of HP area.

  I couldn't find a solution originally so I decided to try Windows 10. .and that it doesn't seem to solve the problem.  Now, I recently returned to Windows 8.1 and of course, this problem is back.

  I would like to know what I can do to solve the problem.  Here are the things I've tried:
  
  * The Original that came with the laptop operating system restoration costs

  * Uninstalling the Synaptics driver and the control of HP Zone software and reinstalled the latest version for 64-bit Windows 8.1 - like 3 - 4 times

  Hi Ben,

  You may be able to work around this problem as follows.

  First, download the Synaptics driver on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Version of the Synaptics 17.0.18.8 driver

  One time finished, open Control Panel, open programs and features, right click on the Synaptics driver and select uninstall.

  When finished, restart the laptop.

  When windows rebooted, open your download folder and re-run the installer of Synaptics - when it is finished, restart the laptop.

  Let windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking.

  Note:  In the synaptics Control Panel, it expresses "Shots of edge" option, you may need to deselect the option.

• box scroll InDesign problem

  Here's a strange. I have an indesign page with background images, a couple MSOs and a scroll with the text box that is set to scroll vertically. When I navigate to the page and try to scroll the textframe in the overlay scroll, scrolls and made the entire indesign page. This is a good article to scroll and the last screen display size of iPad on the article. The URL of the video below.

  Hi Jeffery,

  There is a bug in our internal test found as well team. They are working on a fix to be released if all is well in our next release with a host of other improvements to scrolling image.

  Guy, on one of my pages on the site I do with animate I have a textfield with text. There is more text the field can hold, so I add a scroll bar to this textfield, so that the user can scroll the text. Someone knows how to do?

• With scroll multi line text box

  I need to set up a text box multi online where new channels are added and the box scrolls.  I found a previous post with a good example. However, in the example, there is a while loop using shift registers to concatenate the strings and so to add the new channel.  In my situation, I have a case statement and the new string is added to the base on an independent State.

  How to concatenate the new string with what is already in the text box?  The text box is an indicator, there is no way out for me a loop in a concantator. Is attached a picture to help describe what I'm trying to do.

  I apologize if this is a stupid question, I am very new to LabView.

  You can use a node of feedback in the middle where is your cut wire.

  You can use a shift register as well on your while loop (not shown) outside.  Simply thread through the case of false and perform the concatenation in the case of true.

• Side scroll bar to the top does not work

  My high side scroll bar does not work with the arrow pointing upwards. I manually enter the box scroll and pull it upwards. I updated Firefox uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does not work. It worked on my laptop but not on my desktop.

• How can I make Firefox stop downloads for a virus scan?

  Whenever I download something, especially the smaller .torrent files, Firefox or .jpg scan virus download. In theory, it's a good thing. In practice, at least for me, that means my browser is blocked as long as 2 minutes (average is closer to 10 seconds) while it scans the file that I have ZERO concern about a virus in the first place. Now, it is quite possible that because I'm not a nerd of the game my computer is 'slow' by elitist standards (2 GHz is slow? 2 MB of RAM is slow?), but that is neither here nor there; I want this 'service' gone and I want it gone now.

  You can disable the Firefox application for the downloaded file to scan.

  1. Type of topic: config in the address bar and press to enter.
  2. Accept the warning message that appears, this will then bring up a list of preferences.
  3. In the filter box, type scan
  4. Double-click on the

     browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone

     preference to change its value false

  This procedure stops just Firefox asking that the file is analyzed, your antivirus software is likely to scan downloaded files, especially executable files. If you want to disable this analysis (not recommended), you should check the settings of your antivirus software.

  It seems that if you go to tools-> Options, click Advanced, and then select the general tab, there is a checkbox "always use the cursor keys to navigate a page. With the arrow keys as well as previously, uncheck the box scrolls and this.

• Scanning both sides of the Mac procedure please

  Hello, I bought a MFP HP LaserJet PRO M477fdw.

  Scanning on one side is OK but the printer is supposed to be able to do duplex scanning. I is not this function in the system preference--> printer & Scanner. In HP Easy Scan, there is a duplex option, but even I've chosen, hit the scan button on the side as a single scanned computer. Someone knows how to scan both sides at the same time?

  Please try scanning with HP Easy Scan by doing the following:

  Open HP Easy Scan and then open the menu Presets in the presets menu, define the type of Document and the source as document feeder, then check the box to scan both sides.

• HP photosmart 5520: impossible to save a scan to a folder: mac os sierra & hp photosmart 5520

  After the OS Sierra update, I am able to scan documents, rotate,..., but the button to save a scan on my macbook is not "clickable".

  What application you are scanning from?

  If it is the Image Capture scanners and scanners, uncheck the box to scan a custom size, and then select a specific analysis size or mark the spot required during the prelife analysis using your mouse, and then check if the "Save" button becomes available.

  Also try to install HP Easy Scan below:

  Can you successfully scan from HP Easy Scan and click on send to > folder? the application will be installed in the Applications folder.

• Scanning disable 2-sided HP 8630

  I just installed a new HP 8630 on a desktop running 8.1 Win and attempt at analysis using Adobe 10 Pro.  In Adobe Pro 10, I set the scanner to scan the front side only.  Despite the setting, all my scans letter size count double-sided so, I'm left with a blank page between every analysis from the front before.  So, how can I get the HP 8630 to analyze only the face of the document to the letter format?  Thank you

  Welcome to the HP Forums.

  I see that you have a problem with the printer scan both sides of the document and you want to have this setting disabled.

  What we need to do, is go to the HP printer Assistant that sits on the desktop of the computer.  Under this ANALYSIS section, click on a Document or a Photo analysis.  This will open a new window for the Officejet printer.

  On the right you will see the option to go into the Advanced settings... Please click on this option.

  On the Scan tab, you will see three check boxes.  Please remove the control that is in the box of scan both sides (duplex).

  Click OK to accept the changes and then exit out of the HP printer Assistant and attempt that you scan again.

  Until recently, when I scanned a document Adobe Acrobat open with the scanned document. But he started at the time of opening to the top of the preview in Adobe Reader. I clicked on 'default value' now, it does not open any adobe program.

  Welcome to the HP Forums.

  I see that you experience a problem when you attempt to preview Adobe.

  I've seen similar problems with Adobe in the past.  I suggest you check the Adobe website to see if updates have been added.  If you did the Windows updates recently, you can try to do a restore of the system on your computer.

• L7680 two sides Scan available on windows 7?

  I have an automatic document feeder on my L7680 printer.  I want to scan a document both sides, but there is no option in the hp software interface to select double scanning.  I downloaded the latest driver/software package.  Is it available on Windows 7?  I was able to scan on 2 sides on my Windows XP system.

  Nevermind, I found the box for "scan both sides", instead of saying 2 Facer.
