  • Wireless printer clashes with broadband wireless connection

I recently bought a C4580 printer that seems to work very well - but every time I turn it on, I lose my internet connection!  The only way to recover is to put off the printer and the power of the cycle on the wireless router.  My router is a D-link ADSL model, about 5 years and may precede the arrival of autonomous wireless printers - this could be the reason?  Before you buy a new router, I would be sure that would solve my problem - any advice would be welcome.

Sometimes the DSL providers have more control over the router like the printer.

-Unplug the phone line from the router
-Cut the power to the router, wait 30 seconds, then turn on the power.
-Go through the normal process of the printer connected to the router.
-Now to find the IP address of the printer (it should be on the self-test printout), type it in a browser.
-On this screen, you will find a tab management network, then on the left wireless, then the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address). If you do not know, use the current IP address.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Let the white gateway and DNS
-Finally, connect the telephone line, restart the router and the test.

    Hello

    (loss of wireless connection)
I'm not technical interest in this area, but rather disturbing and it is worse, I thought I would post this question to see if anyone new what it was.

This laptop is new (Toshiba Satellite L300-1BV) Home premium 32-bit.
This happens a lot and it can be "A PAIN" and really fustrating, I suddenly lost my wireless connection and I can't view available wireless networks to try to connect again, especially since I have to restart the laptop and everthing is back to normal.

He can be nice days then all of a sudden, this will happen, but why am I not pick up all other available networks.

  • No wireless connection on A100-181

My A100-181 is a month. I managed to have an ADSL (broadband) internet connection at home with Orange France using their Livebox. The connection worked using a USB and a wireless connection using the built-in Atheros wireless installation. However, for the last week, I was unable to establish the wireless connection! The Livebox is synchronized and my cell phone work the front desk, but are unable to connect to the computer and the Livebox! I spent 3 hours on the phone with Orange technicians who tell me now that my wireless card must be verified by Toshiba, as the Livebox is very well (so they tell me). I need to download the latest drivers for my wireless card? Should I delete and start from scratch by using the restore CD? Wireless card function perfectly and then suddenly stop working? I would be grateful for any advice.

    Hello

First of all please check if Device Manager wireless network card is correctly recognized.
If it you will not find any yellow exclamation so I guess that the NIC wireless and other devices are working properly.
So don't forget to turn on the Wlan switch on the side of the laptop and use the function FN + F8

You wrote that you use the Atheros WLan utility. In this case the Windows WLan configuration must be disabled because the Atheros controls the WLan configuration.
I put t know if you encrypted you WLan but I recommend disabling this option to test the connection. You can activate it later.
Please also check if the MAC addresses of filtering is disabled on the router.

Well, of course, you can try to update the WLan driver. For this, you can consult the page of the Toshiba driver.

We bought the laptop above for our son for Christmas and he continues to lose its wireless connection, we also have a satellite L450 that works well (not to lose the internet connection), we were on our broadband provider that they told us that the wireless connection on our other laptop is fine It's something to do with the C660, one of the pilots is in need of an update, unfortunately I forgot the name of the driver, but it's something to do with the modem, our son is desperate to use his laptop.

    Can anyone help?

Try it please update driver WLAN.

  • A100-201 wireless connection loss

    Hello

I bought my laptop in December and have been using broadband wireless since but yesterday he lost the wireless connection. My provider has said that it is because I need my card rank up. Is that correct, and how can I do this?

I'm not very good with the technical side of things.

    Hello

It's very strange because the wireless connection worked all the time and all of a sudden it doesn t.
    Have you changed something?

Hmm in my opinion, you should first check if the wireless network adapter is enabled and try to configure your WLan router and WLan connections again.
All WLan check the encryption, keys, etc.

Your service provider recommends updating the map?
I think the guy meant the WLan driver!

You check you WLan card and if it s a card WLan Intel visit just the Intel site and download the latest version of the WLan driver.

This problem may occur if theenable IEEE 802. 1 X authentication for this network check box is selected. If this box is checked, but there is no server to authenticate the connection is interrupted. If you turn on the wireless network connection, it disconnects again after a short period.

  • How to display PC on TV via a wireless connection

Discover my computer on my tv

How can I see my computer on my TV? I use a wireless connection and I have a WII connected to the tv and the network?

    Hi Reddogoh,

There are two main options that I see in the connection of your television to the computer. One is a hardware solution by getting a TV tuner card, the second would be a software solution by using your internet connection (this should be a high speed / broad effective solution of the band) to stream TV on your PC. Each of these types has its own unique advantages.

    Hardware solutions (TV Tuner):

First, there is the direct connection method. Examination of the main material here is the tuner TV for your PC card. An example of a vendor for this would be here:http://www.hauppauge.com/. The study in this case is to make sure that you have the right connection from your TV on your PC. There are several types of connections that could potentially work from your TV for PC: coaxial, RCA, S-video and VGA are some of the most common. One of the most interesting types of connection on the site mentioned would be a device which can converts a signal from coaxial cable from the TV to a USB device, which can then be plugged into your computer. One of the benefits of a hardware connection TV is the ability to record live TV, and the software for this feature is often included with the TV tuner. You can use wireless? We can as a type of adapter, but mainly the links are direct.

Solutions software (Streaming and porn TV on broadband):

Software solutions can be very economical because it piggy back on your existing broadband connection. Another advantage would be that the shows can be listened to on request.

Prices can be as low as free, one example beinghttp://www.Hulu.com/ where you can listen to the full episodes of television through a license agreement between the content providers and Hulu.

An example of a subscription model would be http://www.yourfreetelevision.com/ , which is about $30 every month.

So, there are a few options and this should certainly point you in the right direction.

  • Wireless connection keeps gettting disconnected from the Internet.

System: New Dell PC.  Internet browser: IE.  Connection: Wireless.  Replaced the Modem;  Router: Netgear new 43... Have two other laptops, a Toshiba and an ASSUS. System: All Windows 7.  Other computers are on the same WiFi problems - not stay connected. This PC has two antennas on the back to connect to the wireless router.

Browser used: Mozella Firefox (the worst of all a fall); Google Chrome (still drops), now: IE, version 9, works best with Yahoo.com email than other browsers and email applications.

Use: System security Norton, tune up utilities, 2013 and Super Anti-Spyware - ALL have been used continuously without any problems before.

Problem: as soon as the internet connection disconnects, trouble, launch window is. I select the HOTFIX and then, it reconnects to the internet. He said NO problem with cable. Then, it connects to the internet.  Wireless is full Signal, and the other computer in separate rooms have no pproblem.  I thought that the problem could be the newwork pilot program be corrupt and went to update, BUT got a warning that says to use the APPROPRIATE Microsoft program, or can be a problem. After about 8 hours of searching, I can't FIND driver network form of the Mircorsoft program. the versio curent is 2006.  This computer is a purchase of 2011.   Could be an internet code corrupt, registration, etc., but don't kinow how to solve this problem, if it is the problem?  Maybe different browsers, especially Mozella Firefox changed some settings when the browser has been installed or removed, because it is when the problem started.  MOZELLA Firefox has MANY complaints about this problem.

I RESTORE the system once, after you get rid of Google Chrome and Firefox, got a new modem, etc, so think the problem MAY be the address or anything that is not recognized by this computer's internet connections? Have no idea.     Help would be appreciated no - no help from Dell (what's new), even thought it was under warrantey, they always try to collect the royalties to talk and then do not know anything on the networks.

    Hi MHBolin,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft Community.

Wireless is a breakthrough in broadband technology. It can allow you to access the internet remotely. You have a problem with disconnect the wireless connection. It can be difficult when something that is important to you does not work as expected. It's pretty simple and we're here to help you solve the problem. We work as a team and get this sorted out.

    Please answer the question-

    (1) that you get an error message or error code?

    (2) what other troubleshooting steps have done?

    (3) have you done other changes on the computer before the show?

I would like more information about the issue.

    Method 1-

Sometimes, the computer cannot locate the IP address of the router. These problems can be solved by a simple reset of the router.

    See the steps-

    (a) locate a PIN size on the back of the router (that would be your reset button).

    (b) use a sharp object or to press the button to reset for a period of ten seconds and release.

    (c) now, wait for the lights on the router to Flash.

    (d) once the lights are stable try to connect to the internet.

    Method 2-

You must ensure that there is no interference between the router and the computer.

    The municipalities which are-

    (a) a cordless phone

    (b) thick walls

    (c) large bodies of water like the fish tanks

    (d) other wireless devices.

    (e) an immediate proximity to the router (maintain a distance of 6 feet from the router).
