Broadcom BCM94313 mini PCI-E BT / WLAN Card

Hello!
I have a Broadcom BCM94313 (or is it BCM4313?) and no chance of getting the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack work. I need A2DP and I'll test the trial of 30 days from Toshiba but no luck, the installation of the Bluetooth device fails. Do I have to modify the inf file, because the bcm4313 isn't there, or am I on the wrong track?
Cordially koewe

Hello

Broadcom BCM94313 seems to be a card that supports WiFi, a feature of BT.
Did you install the Wlan driver too?

> Do I edit the inf file, because the bcm4313 isn't here or I'm on the wrong track?
Hmm, it would be worth to try check it out

  • How can I activate the WiFi mini-PCI satellite 1905-S301 card?

Greetz! I have installed a network card wireless mini-PCI in option in my Toshiba Satellite 1905-s301 specifications and turned on the power switch. MS Windows XP Home SP2 Pro edition recognized hardware and install its drivers - there is no cross or question mark next to the Atheros AR5001X + Wireless Network Adapter in Device Manager. However the connection of wireless network manager tells me that there is no current wireless network card. When pressing Fn + F8 a window appears saying that there is no build-in wireless LAN.

What should I do to activate my mini-PCI Wireless LAN card? If possible, send your suggestions to my email, please!

    Hello

You must activate the WLan switch on the side of the laptop!
Additional select the WLAN card properties and check under the Advanced tab.
There should be an option called turn on/off the Radio. You will need to fix on.

    Hello!

My old but beloved R100 is not able to connect to my router wlan due to the fact,
that the build-in-card pci doesn't support wap. So I have to update my laptop
either with a new mini pc card oder one card pcmia. What solution is the best?

    Best regards
    Rita

Well, the PCMCIA card is always removable and it is easy to insert.
But I'm not sure about the range of the WiFi signal...

MinPCI wireless network card is hidden somewhere in the notebook and you'd have to remove some parts to get access to the old minPCI WLan card.

But I still prefer the minPCI wireless network card because the minPCI wireless network card can be connected to the WLan antenna and it could be better...

    Hello

does anyone know of a Mini-PCI solution, which combines a b/g WLAN Card with Bluetooth which is compatible with the R100?

My new laptop has a bluetooth connection and a nice combination of WLAN/BT integrated in the R100 would be also cool that the R100 is. There are a few Combocards on eBay that are Mini-PCi cards, but I don't know if "mini-PCI" is a standard for all Mini PCi cards adapt the R100...

    Christian

Hmm, I searched a bit for some information on the Portege R100 series and it seems that BT is not available and not extensible. This would mean that there is no room for the internal minPCI BT module.

The WiFi network is available but not BT ;(

In my opinion, you need to use an external solution such as a stick USB BT.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c01035677.PDF

Chapter 3 lists all cards supported wireless. I see no support for wireless since any N cards.

I don't see the BIOS updates that add support for any model of card N Wireless either.

Installation a unsupported card will cause the laptop does not cranking up what the card does not support is removed.

  • Satellite A30-203 - need compatible WLAN mini PCI card

    Hello

I've had my laptop for several years now and have only just signed up for wireless broadband service. My Satellite A30-203 can be improved internally with a mini PCI card (I checked the back) but where I can get a compatible?

Authorized distributor of parts for Toshiba in my country seems to be outrageous to say the least and are insistent that I send my laptop for them to him have mounted that seems excessive. I also checked the Web from Toshiba site without a bit of luck. Anyone know the part number for a card compatible with my system and where I can get one?

  • Meals on D400 driver: Broadcom mini pci BCM94318

    Latitude D400 Win XP sp3.

My mini-pci wireless card appears to be dead.  To replace the original card, I bought a Broadcom BCM94318 (model WL5011s (TECOM)) which has been listed as compatible in a D400.  No driver of any material.   My machine recognizes that the card is physically here, but I do not have a drivers for it.

Where can I get a driver that works?

After a wait in the queue to Dell Live-Chat, for 40 minutes and some research by the technology of Dell it has determined that the following Dell driver is the one that I needed:

    http://www.Dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/DriverFileFormats/product/Latitude-D400?DriverID=WK5VG&FILEID=2731095321&urlProductCode=false

The big idea is that the BCM94318 is described as 'Wireless' 1370 WLAN MiniPCI Card.

Works very well.  Hope this helps someone else.

  • Satellite P10 722: what Mini-PCI WLAN can I integrated?

    Hello

I have a Satellite P10 722. It seems to be ready wireless (it has an LED to show the WLAN activity). I would use an internal Mini-PCI card in it. Ideally, it would be a b/g card.

Anyone know what model/part number Mini-PCI card will work with this laptop.
She is not in the list of compatibility of the any of the maps on this page (http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/options_and_accessories_search.jsp?z=16&service=UK & selOptionCategory = 4696)

    Thanks for your help,
    Shane

    Hello Shane

Sorry, but this kind of information can give you just the authorized service partner. I don't know if the P10 722 is ready WLAN but you can check only. In the lower corner of the unit, you will find WiFi coverage. Remove it carefully and check if there are two antenna WLAN (black and white) cables. If so, the device is definitely ready WLAN.

Contact the Service partner and ask them for you to adapt to your model of laptop. As far as I know, the consultation is free.

Just for info. One of my friends has P10 with WLAN (802 11b Agere) card.

    Good bye

  • Satellite P300-23F-mini-PCI Wireless card Replace?

Question: would it be possible to replace the card of wireless mini-PCI Intel 5100AGN with version 4965AGN or 5300AGN?

The thing is, recently I bought the Satellite P300-23F. Great laptop. Apart from one thing. I use the Intel 5100AGN wireless. Type of damage, the rest of the components used to build this laptop are high-end. I would have liked to see the 5300AGN of even the old 4965AGN adapter instead. These are both a bit more expensive, but still on the market for the price difference is a simple slice of $20. The 5100AGN TX is only 150 Mbit, which is half as fast as the two other Intel wireless modules. In general, a lot of people seem to have problems with the 5100AGN, seems to be a troublesome product altogether.

Performance of the real world of the 5100AGN on a Linksys WRT54G is around 15 Mbps (1, 8 MB/s). My other computer laptop, equipped with a 4965AGN will be double that in the same circumstances. Tried all the drivers I could find, but the above values are the best I can get.

    Hello

I think that this should be possible, but you must use Mini-PCI cards.

  • Tecra 9100 - W-LAN-Mini-PCI-card upgrade

    Hello everyone,

    I ve got a with the W-LAN-onboard Tecra 9100 working doesn´t.
    Instead of repairing the old W - Lan Mini-PCI-card I want to move to a new standard (802. 11 b / g with 108 Mbit/s max) Mini-PCI card.

I prefer the mini Notebook-WLAN-Gigabyte GN-WIAG02 PCI adapter.

Is it possible to chance the card built into the Gigabyte card?

    Hello

It s nice that you want to upgrade your wireless mini-pci network card. But I suggest you rather a card with an Atheros chipset. The best choice is perhaps a card with a Chipset of Atheros 5005GS since I upgraded my Tecra 9100 with this card and it works like charm. (and not so expensive as other s cards)

To swap the card, you must remove the plastic cover of the keyboard and unscrew the two screws in order to release the keyboard.
After removing the keyboard, you will find an aluminum side cover left which is set with a special torx screws. The best would be to get these torx screwdriver to loosen this bolt and remove the cover.
After removal, you will see the map with the cables that lead to the antenna. (One white and one black) Be very CAREFUL when remove the Connector cables, because if damage you one of the cable connectors there is no return since the cables are cables "Mini-coax" and cannot be "connected."

I warn you, just do it if you're really sure and if you know what you're doing, because I won't take any responsibility if damage you something on your machine. Otherwise, I wish good luck and would appreciate some comments on your success.

    See you soon
