• CS5 Photoshop - Adobe save for Web and devices error

  Hi people,

  MacBookPro3, 1, running all the updates (OSX 10.6.4), CS5 Master Collection.

  Luckily still have CS4 Master Collection installed (and Flash CS3).

  / Users / ~ / library/Preferences/Adobe/Plugins/Adobe save for Web, Photoshop/CS5/Adobe save for Web CS5 pret.

  I had to do it manually and all is good now.

  If I (put) understand, what you see is simply the image rasterized pixels.

  If you save for Web to the exact size as it is used for, pixels correspond to use and it will look nice.

  Any raster image looks pixelated when scaled beyond its actual size.

  Here's how.

  Once in the "Save for Web" dialog box Click on the Preview button and the HTML page will be generated and opened in your default browser.

  Under the preview of the design / layout will be the HTML code that you copy and paste into an empty HTML page in Dreamweaver.

• Slow CS5 Photoshop save for Web (Win 7, 64-bit)

  My system is Win7 x 64, Intel i7 930, 8 GB of RAM.

  Not sure it makes a difference which I use a trial version of Photoshop CS5 (windows 7). I had the same problem, it turns out that Suitcase Fusion was the cause.

  Since version 3, it supports the automatic activation of fonts in Photoshop (versions earlier supported InDesign and Illustrator). Closure of base of suitcase (which must be running in the background) solved the problem.
  Leaving the kernel running and disable the Photoshop plugin worked. It still gives me automatic activation in InDesign and Illustrator.

  Suitcase must do something for my card Nvidia 9500GT, like roll back to an older driver, while leaving the core running solves the problem for a while.

  In the save for Web & devices, click the Image Size tab in the dialog on the right box and uncheck the Clip in the box on the artboard. This is probably a toggle and be remembered for next time.

  I have a Windows Server 2003 volume mounted via the Services for Macintosh (AFP, SMB, no I'm pretty sure). Even if the Mac and the Windows volume can control independent of filenames longer than 31 characters, due to the sustainable management of FORESTS (I guess) I've never been able to record directly from any application to this volume of Windows with a > 31 char filename. This has never been a problem that I kept my short file names.

  After installing just CS5, however, save for Web is not let me save any file, no matter how the nickname: "names of more than 31 characters only are not supported on the destination volume. I can't save for the Web very well on my desktop and save under... the volume of Windows, but not save for Web for Windows volume.

  The save for Web is set to 'Pictures' only (no slices so it's only to create a single file).

  Any thoughts? Known issue?

  Maybe that's part of what happens (and is not something like our names, internal files or anything else I recognize).

  It's probably something internal to save dialog box (NavagationServicesSavePanel), and it assumes that the file systems will be able to handle the long names.

  Again, via SMB to connect to the server may remove part of the restrictions.

  CS3/4 was based on carbon and used the different APIs for a large part of the file structure.

  CS5 moved to cocoa and has a new set of API files to process.

  I work with Photoshop CS5 on a MacBook Pro with 4 MB of RAM in Mac OS 10.5.8. I upgraded from CS3, a month ago. I tried the RGB to 8-16 and 32 bit switching modes, but every time I have "save to the Web and devices ' my Photoshop crashes. It does not crash in the display window. It crashes when I choose to save. Can I get the spinning beachball and a slow fall. There is no error message, and it happens every time. I tried to delete the preferences. I found somehow there was some left behind CS3 prefs. But deleting prefs has not changed the situation. I have a lot of RAM, so I don't think that it is a memory problem.   I just changed to CC of CS5. My Illustration workflow involves export from Illustrator to Photoshop. I disable anti-aliasing in the export options in Photoshop to make net angles. For example,.25 black line exports ch as a wide black line of a pixel.

  When exporting CC of Illustrator, I select 'none' to the anti-aliasing when exporting, but art is anti-aliasing in Photoshop. For example, exports of line noire.25 to PS as a line blurred grayscale.

  Have I missed something or that I can't export a line of true crenellated Illustrator to Photoshop more?

  This problem has been FIXED in the version of Illustrator CC 2014.

• Anti-aliasing in Dreamweaver

  In Photoshop, there is an option of anti-aliasing for text. Is there any option in Dreamweaver? I read in some of the other threads that it is either an OS or a browser option, but what happens if I don't want that they have the option to turn it off? If I do it in Photoshop for a piece of paper, I certainly wouldn't wish to change so that they can review them differently I imagined, so is it possible to lock this option by selecting in Dreamweaver?

  In dreamweaver, html text is a TEXT, and will make the visitor browser/OS
  the text according to the css styles you provide in more specific
  browser/operating system settings that user for text rendering/smoothing.

  It is not in your control if a user wants to turn off the anti-aliasing text on
  their system
