  Don't know what country you are, but searching on Google for "TECRA A2 KEYBOARD" produced several successes, including the United States 'Spare parts warehouse' which lists a single keyboard for the Tecra A2 (part number P000392120). This also seems to be compatible with the many other laptops Toshiba.

  It seems strong enough to bet that this keyboard would be compatible with your A2.

  I know what you mean. The person who did it the test used an lcd instead of a CRT monitor to achieve their number; but because the LCD have also input lag, the only way to 16ms the TV is slower than this monitor lcd, 16 ms the real number is twice that amount, about 39ms for the x 850.

  I don't know if there is a link, but I recently upgraded to OS X 10.11.3, and now my keyboard only available option is English. Here is a screenshot:

  As far as I know if you instead of, you just change the keyboard input language. Please click the taskbar with the right button of the mouse and go to Toolbars > and enable the language bar option. On this way, you can see which input language is active.

  Just got my p2815Q (3840 x 2160) and noting the input lag is horrible. I understand that it is a 30 Hz monitor, which I guess just meant the refresh rate is 30 frames per second. I'm a programmer and my job requires a lot of movements of the mouse, clicking on various things, etc and there is somewhat noticeable 'catch up' that made the mouse every time that I move it anywhere on the screen. I set DPI scale to 150, all text is crystal clear and is very beautiful, but the input lag makes this monitor feel unusable. Is it a sort of configuration problem or someone else noticed this as well? Another note, even if I change monitor 1920 x 1080, I always have the same input lag, even at 60 Hz. Even as I type this, there is a slightly perceptible lag between when the button is pressed and the text appears in the box.

  Hi, one of my users reports a very unusual problem with its Tecra M2. The keyboard seems to work only if you press a vowel key and the display shows then this vowel, but with an accent above it.   I'm not sure, but it seems that your unit poss褥 wrong keyboard. Try changing the
  the keyboard settings. You can find it in Control Panel under regional and Language Options.
  First click on the language tab, and select the details option in text services and input languages
  Second under default input language, select the keyboard language.

  In this case it will be shown the same symbols as seen at the keyboard. Maybe it's a s solution.

  TECRA R940: I had problems with my touch pad and the keyboard of the laptop.

  The keyboard driver cannot be updated or installed as it s already part of the Windows System.
  But from my point of view of a few you need to test the functionality of the keyboard using the external USB keyboard.

  In case the external USB keyboard would work correctly, the problem isn't related to the update of the system, but the functioning of the internal keyboard that would require replacement of keyboard.

  The touchpad driver should be available on the Toshiba UE driver page. You will find the Alps Electric as well as the driver for the Synaptics touchpad.

  Can you please describe a little more precise what happening exactly when you want to write using any application written in Windows? Your claim about "some of the keys have stopped working" is pretty vague.

  Bad news in all this is that you probably won't be able to restore the previous version of BIOS. Somewhere on this forum I read that some "experts" have done that, but don't ask me how. As much as I know Toshiba service partner can do with special tools.

  My TECRA A10 is a very strange problem since 1 month.
  At the start, in windows XP, keyboard, touchpad or both frequently work. Only the 'Fn' keys are operationnals.
  I can't use the other. 'CAPS LOCK', alpha keys, etc. are not active. Laptop is not usable.
  I have to restart the laptop in a loop while alpha keybord is not usable. The drivers are updated.

  I think it's a problem with Windows.
  When the laptop starts up, I can choose a support starting with the arrow keys and then see "CAPS LOCK" key is OK (led switch works).
  Everything looks ok. After choice hard disk media and startup XP, keyboard is released.
  No BIOS problem.

  I reinstalled Windows XP Pro SP3 with the Toshiba CD.

  If I understand your message, the touchpad and keyboard problems started after running the first MS Windows XP updates.
  But after the Win XP installation (without the MS updates) everything has worked perfectly you have no problem with the laptop too using the operating system from the recovery Toshiba (Vista for example) disk.

  Hmm that's strange because the keyboard driver is part of the windows and there is no special keyboard drivers that could be updated.
  But there is a touchpad on the European driver Toshiba page; Alps Electric.

  Update the driver of the touchpad and also check if your BIOS is up to date. If the BIOS is not to day then updated it also.

  I updated the BIOS on my Tecra A3 with the package of 2, 30-VICTORY, and the keyboard has failed... Only a few touches of clam work and they do not even give the good sign... I guess that there must be a language problem or something?

  did you buy this PC in europe or elsewhere in Asia (, USA)?
  If you provide your serial number, we can check if the machine is a European model. If it is not then maybe you have bad BIOS installed.
  If the machine still works as you describe, then it should be possible to download the correct BIOS (if it was the wrong) and install it. It requires only the basic operation of mouse.
