I'm pretty new to Labview and are now using LV2009 and have trouble with "build specification".

are not supposed to be 5 features, including, Installer, EXE, DLL or the source distribution and the zip file?

Why only can I find 2, namely the Distribution Source and (RESTful) Web Service it?

Nuub alert! Could not find a tutorial for extreme nuubs on this... Tutorial for NOR tried, but it still happens. LabView 2011/XP Pro. Nothing other than LabView - no DAQ or materials.

I have designed a new Board of Directors, developed a RS232 interface and wanted to build a LabView graphical user interface. Usually used Visual Basic (eye-popping stop!). Follow-up to tutorials to create 'tree' in the file project (Public/private/etc.). I have about 10 vi Omnium who-> get or set data-> close. These vi uses a lot of several standard timers, manipulating strings, Labview etc integrated. Followed the tutorial OR for the generation of pilots.

I did a first level vi called for EXAMPLE with a button to call sub - vi, display data, etc. When I created the build, I send EXAMPLE.VI to start and the .lvlib. to include. When the exe file is run, it is not some subvi and can not find the built-in vi (as trim_whitespace', simple_error_handler', etc.). It seems that my prob is double (dependencies & my sub - vi)? I tried throw everything in - big mistake - commissioning all 10 sub - vi complained about not finding things, took me about 15 minutes to close everthing.

I can see the list of dependencies in the Project Explorer; but nothing shows in the 'properties' of the construction to ensure that they added.

Y at - it a basic tutorial to create a .exe since a vi (which is built from many subvi), which deals with how ti get the included dependencie in the compilation? Still on the subject, I found tons of tutorials, books, etc. on how to use labView in 2011, but zero on the side 'pilot' - I don't want be a LabView expert like you guys, just learn how to create the basic vi to create good drivers for my instruments I design

It's noob, not nuub.

You said that when you configure the build you 'sent' Example.vi 'start-up', but I don't see that. None of the specifications of your generation have a start VI. You have also 4 plug different construction, so I have no idea who you're talking about.

Standard screws are not included in an application. They are drawn in via the LabVIEW runtime engine that will have these libraries. You must make sure that the target computer receives the LabVIEW run-time engine installed as well as NI-VISA (you use VISA).

General code comments:
- Overexploitation of the structures of the sequence. Most of those you are not even necessary. Others can be removed by making use of time delay VI, which has cluster of error to force the dependency data.
- Overexploitation of local variables.
- It's a bad idea to incorporate the mistake single VI Manager dialog box into subVIs. The Subvi should be called in your top-level VI.

Without seeing your Flyer available, it is difficult to advise you, but if you want to build the room yourself, illustrated above approach shows how to put an image in the layout, position, and resize it.

I have two separate projects, one to create a DVD and the other to create a Blu - ray player. Each project has 1 video for Chapter 1 on the timeline. The source files have been previously coded before being imported into encore. The DVD project file is MPEG-2 audio AC3 and the show as "not transcode. The comic book project file is H.264 with audio AC3 and shows like "do not transcode.

When I build each project, the first thing that still done is audio transcoding. Then it uses the video as-is.

The audio track in both projects is actually the same, it's here:

The only difference is the bitrate.

Why still requires the bitrate of 192 Kbps? The bitrate of 256 Kbps source file is 100% in the specifications for DVD-video and Blu - ray disc.

Is there a way to stop this transcoding?

Note that there is no audio in the menu structure.

jQuery selector to go through all the rows of the table in the specific table column

I am in the situation when I need to disable some of the cells in a table, when the value in another cell in a table is equal to a value.

for example, I need to disable the value of Column2, what value in the same row in Column1 = 1.

I created the dynamic action (DA), which is triggered after the update of the region on the page.

And now I wonder how to build the code for the dynamic action. I think jQuery is the right approach, but I've yet to find useful example. I think I need to loop through the array, check the value in the required column and disable the value reconnect with in another column if necessary.

I want to user as identifiers table headers to avoid problems when the column will be moved to another position.

Hey Jiri,

$('td[headers="REGION_NAME"] input:text')

returns a HTMLInputElement, wheras the function addClass is a jQuery specific function.

If you wrap the HTMLInputElement in a jQuery object like this:

$($('td[headers="REGION_NAME"] input:text')[i]).addClass('apex_disabled');

you get the desired result.

CTRL + click / SHIFT + click does not not on the specific Web site

If you use Firefox, I discovered that, for almost all of the links on the site above, perform a CTRL + click or a SHIFT + click the link does not open the link in a new tab or window, but on the contrary is no nothing that either.

I tested a 22.0 Firefox running on two separate computers, and a Firefox running 16.0.2, and machines/versions behave exactly the same way, i.e. CTRL + click and SHIFT + click the links does nothing.

By clicking normal on the links behave as expected, navigate to the location of the link. Using the right click > open link in a new tab, or right click > open the link in a new window works fine too.

I tried CTRL + click and SHIFT + click on the site above using the two Chrome and IE, and they work fine. So I've narrowed the issue down to be something to do with the way Firefox processes the HTML of the site. Firefox on both machines deals very well with links on other sites by doing a CTRL + click or SHIFT + click. but not on this specific site.

Can someone help me to find out why this is happening? Why is that a problem on Firefox? What is the specific site that Firefox has issues with?

Thanks long before any wisdom or experience that you can lend to it. She was driving me crazy, as I have always used Firefox and I rely heavily on CTRL/SHIFT + click, especially when doing admin stuff.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).
- You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

What are the specifications of the Satellite Pro A10

OK this question isn't quite as noob as it sounds, well not quite...
The question is, I look at a Satellite Pro A10 for a friend, and he seems to have no Modem connection or wireless, despite the modem plug and the switch at the front for the wireless connection. The machine is second hand, and we see that there was only a software modem of Toshiba used but it seems to have disappeared. None of the devices appear in Device Manager or anywhere else.

Before starting the assumption that they are faulty is there anywhere on the Web from Toshiba site where I can put the serial number and look at the specifications of the machine when it was purchased (as you can with a Dell :)). It is an old machine and If the wireless has been upgraded optional and it did not buy so it won't of course work but I need to know.

Appropriate use of the specific functions of IVI Driver

I have to call niDMM driver specific functions, for example the diode test function and source of current value. I am able to do using IVI step types. I just input function and the ID attribute of the niDMM header files. I would use the IVI drivers, but I need the specific functions of the device in some applications. I tested it and it works well, but is it the right way to do it? What is the recommended approach?

My IVI not look like this when usig own functions and attributes: I don't like typing in numbers, but I've not found a way to use the header file definitions (see below).

I prefer to use a code module and call the NIDMM functions in there. You can use the type rather than the identification number definitions.

(1) have you configured MATLAB to use the compiler to MSVC ++ 2008? If not, then just type mex - configure in the MATLAB command window and follow the printed instructions.

(2) open Windows command prompt and type % NIVERISTAND_ROOT, and then press ENTER. The call to this environment variable returns C:\VeriStand? If this is not the case, then please add this environment with the value of C:\VeriStand variable to your system and restart the PC. To do this, follow the instructions as described in the link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310519

Connecting leads to build the array in a VI script

I'm looking for a way to connect the wires to a knot of "generation table" in a script of VI.

I have a table of entries that should translate in a table via node 'building the table '. I added successfully to the input terminals for 'building the table' node in a script of VI. However, the program fails when I try to execute a loop to wire all of the entries in the order. The problem is, all the sons of entry to the first element of the' generation '. Snapshot of the code is attached.

Please suggest me a way to link the different elements at different entrances to the node 'building the table '.
