Built-in computer is not stereo mix?

Hi, I have a computer that I built. It doesn't have stereo mix in the recording device. I have disconnected peripheral Show and see the disabled active device view. Is it supposed to be a driver I need to download? If so, can I get the link? Thank you. I would really like the stereo mix, this is the easiest way that I know how to play music through my computer, while other people can hear too.

Here are my computer parts:

Motherboard: ASUS M4A88T-M LE AM3 AMD 880 G
Processor:
AMD Phenom II Deneb 2.8 GHz 4 925 X
Graphics card:
XFX HD-685 X-ZNFC Radeon HD 6850 1 GB DDR5 256-bit memory
RAM:
Vengeance 4 GB CORSAIR
OS:
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit-OEM

Everything works now. Thank you.

  • Stereo mix on Iconia W510?

I like to listen to music from my Iconia to my office. Using VLC for this. My office has a hidden feature called stereo mix and that I can listen to music, but I want the reverse.

I can't find Stereo Mix on my W510 Iconia. Last updated drivers etc. Cannot find anything on Intel support.

    Suggestions, ideas?

A response to my own post, so that Google knows and remembers my solution. I found the recorder screenshot here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/screencapturer/files/ which is part of this download: https://github.com/rdp/virtual-audio-capture-grabber-device . For audio is not a separate download, it is associated with. It's not Stereo Mix as I know, it will not be displayed in the devices, but it adds an extra entry in VLC, which can be listened to. In fact, two additional entries, one for the video (named screen recorder-capture) and one for the audio (virtual-audio-capture). It is related with Volume control, so there is no separate Volume for this. You must connect a headset to mute the sounds. Forget the actions of CMD, no idea of what they are doing and I have no need of them. Just after installation, the "peripheral" is ready to be saved. VLC is pleased to listen to the audio on the internet once the router has Port Forewarding defined. I could test the stream on my LAN, I could not test me on WAN (due to port forewarding). A friend was so kind to test this, my stream works. With the help of Mixx DJ.

  • I can not disable stereo Mix or activate my built-in mic!

    Good afternoon!

Earlier, I have enabled stereo mix and disabled my built in mic. I've always been able to go back and fourth between the two, but now it doesn't let me do anything. I clicked on activate on my microphone and turn off the stereo mix tons of times, went into the properties and tried manually by selecting 'do not use this device (disabled)' and click 'OK', but nothing changes.
I tried everything and I'm lost.

Re-install your audio drivers from the web site of the manufacturer of your computer/PC laptop.

    See you soon,.

  • Stereo Mix does not exist? and SPDIF port does not exist?

Well, as shown in the topic, I have two major questions. On the one hand, on all my computers forever, I had a stereo mix on this subject. (An Inspiron 1721) does not, there just the pickups on the lid and the entry on the site. Where the hell is the mix stereo/mono and other devices which are USUALLY there on the other compuers (including my old Dell Inspiron 6000). In addition, my computer claims to have a port of SPDIF output on it, and turned on, but... I don't see one ANYWHERE on the body of this computer and it's terribly confusing. Any help is appreciated... Thank you

  • stereo mix is available, but not sound in Windows 8

I have a problem of Stereo-Mix with a new desktop computer Windows 8 HP.  The stereo mix is set as default in the HEALTHY management system registration window.  When I play something on the computer (for example a .wav file) there is no indication that sound is passed through the device of stereo mix.  In my old HP with Win 7 the stereo mix would sound played in the computer and I could save it.  Now I can't save it because the stereo mix does not sound on my machine Win 8.  My computer has Audio Beats control for the sound in the Envy Phoenix 800 computer.  Is there another setting I'm missing?  How can I get the stereo mix of the function?  Thank you. Ken

No, I don't have any device Realtek on my computer; but my problem was solved.  Suggestions were made through all the Audio devices to manage and reduce the volume of unused devices.  I adjusted all the volumes in the audio device window of Windows (on record), Beats Audio window; refused to volumes that are not used for playback devices and checked my recording software - hearing.  It seems to work pretty well now.  Thank you.

  • Satellite L750 - 170 Windows 7 stereo mix appears not

    Hello

I searched for centuries about how to turn on my stereo mix and I can't just it get up...
I installed the latest driver for my 'Conexant SmartAudio HD', you click on the "show disabled devices" and "show disconnected devices", and I always find myself with no stereo mix showing. I've got Stereo Mix on my XP, Vista, and my other Windows 7 PC before and I don't really know why it does not work on it.

    Help, please!

    Thank you

From my experience the Conexant audio chip does not support this, but found this interesting thread:

Check and test the solution provided do not know if this helps, but feedback would be greatly appreciated

  • Satellite A100-998: mono/stereo mix not available under Vista

Windows Vista and the Microsoft default value "High definition Audio Device" driver (automatically selected and installed by Setup of Vista), no recording device is listed with the exception of the Microphone, Line In, CD Audio, as in this screenshot of the A100-998 in question:
    http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/1981/a100998jp6.PNG

No new Mix or record Waveout options of the device, which means that you can not, for example, doesn't record audio stream on the Internet. I tried the latest drivers from Realtek HD Audio for Vista (30/11/2006 R1.52). No change. Is there a way/driver to enable this as in other Windows Vista machines.

Is also the audio material in the A100-998 "Vista Premium Ready" with the specifications set out in the http://www.optimalsound.net/?

It's the third disappointment. The first two were that he has not delivered with the announced NVIDIA GF7400 (came to the square with 7300) and the second is that the hard drive is 4200 RPM (instead of the advertised 5400).
The third issue is the audio issue detailed above.

Here is a solution I found, but it is not free (costs $US28.20) and requires users to manually switch the "playback devices" each time that they execute it:
    http://www.NCH.com.au/SoundTap/index.html
Unlike other programs like Audacity which are based on the Waveout/Mono/Stereo Mix as their sound source (and so do not work in this case), NCH SoundTap installs its own virtual driver and is therefore able to record everything you hear through your speakers in Windows Vista without the need for Waveout/Mono/Stereo Mix. "All the sound elements are"typed"by a pilot virtual directly in the kernel, so the process is perfect digital quality."

However, it would be better that Vista Realtek/Toshiba/Microsoft "High definition Audio Device" driver is updated to include the Waveout/Mono/Stereo Mix (under "recording devices"), so that programs that rely on it are broken. SoundTap can do on Vista means that it is not a hardware limitation.

PS new Vista sound effects as Loudness equalization, Room Correction, Bass Management and Virtual Surround are already supported in the current drivers Vista (the driver from Realtek v1.52 and that by default by Microsoft) in Satellite A100-998.

    You are right.
I've got the U400 also, and the stereo mix does not appear because it s not supported by driver sound!
Driver audio Conexant doesn't include this feature!

I contacted my local ASP in my country and the guy said that an update of the audio driver should appear in next time

    Let's hope

  • Stereo mix do not pick up any sound.

    Hello

I've been messing around with this problem for almost a month now. I have Vista and Windows 7 on different partitions. Stereo mix is not picking up all the sounds in Windows 7 (even though I enabled it), while it is very well in Vista.I have tried to reinstall and update drivers Realtek, setting the stereo mix as a default device, still nothing. I see, it is enabled, but there is no sound coming from it. I have installed every possible update, but nothing happened. I wonder if there is another solution that I have not yet tried, make stereo mix to work with Windows 7.

I would also like to know if there is a way to create something like stereo mixer, such as a virtual recording device that would get sound from my headset/speakers. Or just make headphones a recording device.

    Thank you.

The playback device * must be set to the same as the stereo mix sound card.  I was out audio via a USB device, so it was not get picked up.

  • Do not allow for stereo mix in windows 7 on laptop Dell Inspiron 3521

    Hello

I want to activate 'stereo mix' in windows 7 Home premium on my laptop Dell Inspiron 3521, 'sound' in the criminal, and then open control record tab, right-click in the window, I opened, it shows no "stereo mix" in devices either active or disabled, I have the latest audio drivers from the Dell website. Help, please

    Thanks in advance

Make sure that the Realtek driver is installed. If it is you will then see the words "Realtel HD ' on your recording & reading tabs.

If no luck with the latest Realtek, then try the older version. If still no luck then go to the Realtek site and get a "High definition" driver from there.

  • Satellite P500: Audio "what you hear" or "Stereo Mix available?

I am a member of a seniors computer club and they lent me the Toshiba P500 model PSPG8A computer so I can set up events for some meetings, this computer running Windows 7.

One of the characteristics of the P500, I am to research is Audio "what you hear" or "Stereo Mix" as I will need to capture from the speakers.

All I can find for recording is the built-in microphone, no line or other controls, I've never seen so little on a computer before.
This computer has "what you hear" or "Stereo Mix", if so how do you access them?
The audio cards are only Microphone and headphones.

If the computer does not have these characteristics, if someone could suggest what external alternatives I have to allow this computer to record directly to the speakers.

As I do not have a user manual, could you please indicate where I can download it from, have looked but can not find on the web.

    Hello

I put t know what P500-xxx you have exactly, but P500-10J, which belongs to the series of PSPG8E does not support the Line In, or out of line
The laptop seems to support HDMI out jack and head phone microphone port.

I downloaded the manual for this series of laptop and other audio jacks are not mentioned
It seems therefore that the function that you requested is not available :(

  • Satellite Pro U400-130 - Conexant and 'Stereo Mix' in question

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro U400-130 (downgraded from Vista to XP) with the Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 "audio card" installed.

Although this seems to support HD audio, I can't find any option to use or activate the "Stereo Mix" option in the Windows console. I tried a few settings to registry and some different drivers, but so far, the option remained absent.

I know this forum and other comments on the net that Conexant audio cards do not support the stereo mix, but I was wondering if someone could confirm that this is certainly the case for SmartAudio 221?

Similarly, anyone know of another method to record the sound 'as heard' on the computer? So Far, the options appear to be a) buy an external sound card, or b) connect the plug headphone mini-jack on the mic with a cable jack.

After using a p3500 old Portege of 8 quite happy with this function (actually pretty basic), it is very disappointing to find that this card cannot support it.

    See you soon,.
    Select this option.

    > I can't find any option to use or activate the "Stereo Mix" option in the Windows mixer
    > I know this forum and other reviews on the net that the Conexant sound cards may not support stereo > Mix, but I was wondering if anyone could confirm this is certainly the case for SmartAudio 221?

I can confirm this because I have a laptop (NOT from Toshiba one) that was equipped with the Conexant audio chip and the other laptop (Toshiba Satellite a series has) that supports the Realtek audio chip.

The machine with Realtek audio chip contains stereo mix and the other non-Toshiba unit that supports the audio chip Conexant does not support the stereo mix

As far as I know the update of the driver won't help you because it looks like a hardware limitation of chip Conexant!

However, thanks for the info about the Virtual Audio Cable tool.
I think I'll try it next time
