  I'm running the latest InDesign CC2015. It works fine on my Windows Surface. It has just stopped working - nothing has changed. No update of the software system or InDesign itself. The tool move will select things, but I can't move anything. Not locked layers or something like that - it does not work in any new or existing document. I can move objects with my arrows. Basically, InDesign is unusable. I teach InDesign - so not a beginner... pretty sure it's a weird or any bug just popped up.

  Eugene - I have reset my preferences. InDesign does the 'normal' way as you suggest, I went and deleted the files. And InDesign don't always co-oporate - but thanks for the obvious - have you read the part about I am instructor certified Adobe and not a beginner?

  He works today. I have problems with Lightroom do not behave properly yesterday. When I tried to look in my application cloud creative, which has been 'broken', too. Everything worked except the applications screen, who turned just as it was loading, but would not actually load. This happened to me before. You cannot uninstall the app CC - in fact he has a fit and said that you always have installed applications. Then... I have re-installed manually cloud creative after that I reinstalled manually Lightroom and now everyone seems to be working as they should - for now.

• iPhoto events?  I want to CONVERT but NOT Album... possible?

  I update for Mac OS and I have a folder called events iPhoto in Photos with 1400 events, mainly just some simple pictures.  I've read some threads here that explain how to convert in Albums, but I don't like albums that I already have my albums put in place.  I want just the missing file (my OCD)... without losing the photos.  Or are these copies and I just delete?  And suggestions or help is appreciated.

  Those who already are the albums - when you migrate an iPHoto library your iPhoto events are converted to photo albums and stored in a folder 'iPHoto events' names - that are not options, that's what happened when you migrated - How Photos handles content and metadata for iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support

  Now you can manage the albums as you like - combining them, deleting them, placing them in different or ignorant folders

  and like all the pictures, they are simply a way to view photos - they are not a place or duplicates but simply a view of photos in your library

  To remove an album right click (control click) on it and select Delete album

  Hey - if anyone knows how to get a "BOLD" handset to allow listeners (PhoneListener, KeyListener, OutboundMessageListener) I would appreciate it. My app uses listeners and works very well in the Simulator, but only sporadically on the actual handset. Does anyone know how it works?

• Need database of real products, but not actually selling online

  We have a customer who wants to 'showcase' products in 10 categories. It will be including the leaves of the database and images BUT they be actually selling online.

  It is so a slight Catch-22, we will require the ability to data/products from an online store, but without the actual item for sale online. Could be up to 30 products in each category. These products will have to be edited / added and removed on a regular basis. All ideas

  For example, the artist's "Beatles", the song is called "Maxwells Silver Hammer", the title of the song scrolls because the artist is not necessary.

  If the artist is "Blood Sweat and Tears" and the song "you made me so Very Happy" autoscroll only artist (shown first).

  Assuming that only can scroll, shouldn't this be selectable?

  Or I do something wrong?

  If you keep your screen awake long enough, eventually they both scrolls.

• Devices to connect to the airport, but not to the Internet

  Hi all; Here's my situation:

  I just bought a new Airport Extreme to replace my old router (Linksys). In our House, we have two iPhones 6, as well as the iPad, Apple TV and MacBook Pro that were all bought again this year. All these things were able to connect to the internet using our old wireless router.

  As I have configured and installed at the airport, various devices have been able to connect without being able to connect to the internet (i.e. AirPort Utility, the airport connection is a green dot, while the actual internet connection is an orange): first it was the MacBook having this problem while the phones and the iPad have been completely connected. After I simply rebooted everything several times - i.e. the modem, router, and MacBook - I finally got the MacBook fully connected (without really changing all the settings, which are all entered correctly). Now, however, it is the two iPhones that will connect the airport but not actually in the internet.

  Any ideas? I must say, these strange little problems idiopathic who seem to always pop up with Apple products are starting to really bother me... I never got my MacBook to connect to the Apple TV via AirPlay.

• Format a number with a decimal number to display the value, but not the comma

  I have a value of 129,50 in the comic book. I use the function htp.prn () for this export value in a txt file. I have the field padded by leaders 0 (so it looks like 0000129.50)
  I need to keep the value for le.50 but don't want the comma appears (so I need it to look like 000012950), but can not find a way to keep the value for le.50 but not actually show the decimal point - of ideas? (APEX 4.0 11g)

  Windows Media Player will burn a data CD for us but not an audio CD.  We have Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2.  Tried another brand of CD, slower burning speed, etc., but still does not.  And can not uninstall Windows Media Player and reinstall.  Help!

  2. what type of file you want to burn?

  3. This only happens with a particular file type?

  4. are you able to burn CDs with any other application?

  5. you receive messages or error codes?

  If the song file is protected by the rights of use, these rights may allow for playback of the song on the computer but prohibit burn them on a CD. If the Information button appears next to the song in the burn list, click the button to see more information on the issue.

• When I burn a CD with Media Player 11 the text (name of song and artist) do not appear on my CD player.

  When I play a CD I burned through MP 11 names of songs and artists are not displayed on my CD player in my house and car.  Is there a setting that needs to be done to get the title of the song and the artist to show in the field of test on my players?  I was able to burn CDs using my old media application, but it is no longer supported.  It was nice to see the textual information, now all I see is the number of the song, not the name.  I can't seem to find any help for this, so I ask here.  I am running VISTA SP2 with Media Player 11.

  Welcome to the forum of responses to Windows Vista.

  Windows Media Player does not burn audio CD, CD text, and it doesn't have the plug-ins Windows Media Player from Microsoft which will be added to this support.  There are many applications that make the third party CD burning. Moreover, if the CD supports playback of WMA or MP3, you can use Windows Media Player to burn your CD with more songs by CD and all track information.

  However, there are third-party applications like enabling this feature. You can check on the internet for plugins like these.

• iTunes has been deleted and songs at random out of my playlists, but not of the library - I 7000 songs to sort!

  I just bought the latest iPad and now I have restored from a backup, it has been deleted and the songs at random out of my playlists for example a playlist, used to have 534 songs (I know because they are always on my ipod) and now he has 137. Why he did I have no idea. The songs are on my Itunes yet, but not playlists which is why I think it must be some sort of bug. Help, please.

  p.s. Ideally I'd like just use my ipod as a backup (can I do that?) but I can't connect to the risk to delete playlists.

• Equium L20-264: CD/DVD player can read but not burn discs

  Hi all

  I need help. My laptop cd/dvd driver does not recognize the discs inside. It only happens when I try to burn a disc. She can read but not burn the discs. What could be the solution? I tried different brands, the last time it was Maxell. The manual suggests Mitsubishi discs, but I'm not sure that it only works with the Mitsubishi discs. It can read any kind of disc.

  So I'm in trouble, please help.

  In the manual, you will find a list of media recommended because this media has been tested and were working properly.
  However, I use TDK CDs and DVDs and it works as well.

  What I mean is that it is not easy to give a generally the solution of these problems.
  You should try different media, burning software and if it doesn t work so it s is a malfunction of the equipment. In this case, you will need to replace the drive.

• Playlists imported, but not all the songs won't matter

  I exported my playlists my macpro mnt lion and when I used my thumbdrive to import on my macbook pro (mavericks) some, but not all the songs from the imported selections. It just says: the files can be found--just before this that I imported the entire library, so I know that my whole library is on the macbook pro.

  Some files are mpegs and some are AAFC, but there is no correlation with what files are transferred correctly as its both.

  MacPro (mnt lion)--> macbook pro (mavericks)

  You must transfer your complete (in one piece) iTunes folder, which should include all your media files and your iTunes library database (where are stored the data supporting such as playlists, ratings, play count, date added, etc.).  Then iTunes on the new Mac looks like iTunes on the old Mac, with all your songs and playlists, because you use the SAME library. you do not add your media files to a new library.

  If you want more information on how to do it, instead of your playlist Exim problem troubleshooting, please post back.

  You use DVD + R disks?  Those who are not compatible with DVD players before 1997.  The DVD-R is compatible with all DVD players.

  

• Movie burned to dvd, projection of film, but not the photos

  I burned the dvd and it is to show the film, but not the photo at the end.  When I look at the menu, it is to show the photo are on the disc, but when I play it is just a black screen.

  I created the movie in windows movie maker, and when you select burn to disc, it directs you to the creation of windows dvd.
