Button problem, connect to the URL

I have a presentation with two buttons at the end I currently have this action script (Action Script 3), that works.

Stop();

play_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, regarderMovie);
function playMovie(event:MouseEvent)
{
Play();
}

I need an extra script for a button 'Back' return on the site they consult. I added the script of an Action Script 3.0 in Flash Professional Essential Trainingsession, but I must have something wrong, because the script causes the sequence in a loop or overrides the other script (I have only the buttons on the last frame of the movie). Here is the script I used for the 'Back' button, as well as the error I got. Note: I have an "instance name" for the button, which is bck_btn.

Error message: 1119: access to property may not set buttonMode through a reference with static type flash.display:SimpleButton.

Script:

var link: URLRequest = new URLRequest ("urlgoeshere");

bck_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, onClick);

function onClick(event:MouseEvent):void
{
navigateToURL (link);
}

bck_btn.buttonMode = true;

You can provide all the help will be most appreciated. It took me at least 8 hours to figure this so far.

Marilyn

Is the back_btn a clip or a button?

If the symbol you converted is a button... then... bck_btn.buttonMode = true;... is a useless statement, I do not know all the terms techniques, but if you use a movieClip as a button... (when you create the symbol create you it as a movieclip)... you would use this statement so that the cursor treats as a button when you ride on it with the mouse...

If its already a button... (you create the symbol as a button)... then it does this automatically and the statement is not necessary... try that out and see what you get... and let me know...

    Make sure that the Weblogic password is correct in the boot.properties and restart the services.

    Boot.properties files would be present in D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\\security\boot.properties

    For example,.

    For APS:
    D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\AnalyticProviderServices1\security\boot. Properties

    For Regional service:

  • Problem connecting to the server after moving

    Hi, I keep getting the message "there is a problem connecting to the server"192.168.0.19"etc. This happened after I moved. New ISP, new router. I have an Airport Express and a NAS connected to it. Time Machine and Icloud on the NAS. I think that the NAS has this IP address before moving. There are now 192.168.10.176. Everything works, but I get the pop up frequently.

    I look at the accounts and start but nothing. I reboot safe mode does not remove the problem. So, what can I do?

    I'm on Yosemite with MBR.

    Can you connect using the new IP address?

  • There was a problem connecting to the server 'SERVER NAME' error guard appearing

    There was a problem connecting to the server 'SERVER NAME' error guard appearing even though the server is not on my current network.  I recently moved my iMac to a different location and a different network, and now he constantly tries to connect to the old server.  This message appears every 30 seconds and several of those who appear (see pictures) it's extremely frustrating because it makes the machine almost useless because I am constantly closing them.  No matter how many times I try to stop the activity monitor it it keeps reappearing, and I even tried a few terminal commands that I found online, then restarted the computer, but still had no success.  I would appreciate all the advice really.

    I hope that gives you an idea of what I got!

  • Check error: there was a problem connecting to the server Apple ID

    When I try to connect to my iTunes on my Windows laptop account it is said there is a problem connecting to the Apple ID server. This problem did not begin until 2 days. I have the latest version of iTunes and Windows.

    What is the number of the version of iTunes?

    For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

    Start by missing error MSI.

    The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

    Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

    More information area has direct links with the current and recent buildings if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party.

    Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

    On the PC, when connecting each device, it loads a separate driver. You can try this trick when you want to get iTunes recognizes the iPhone 6. Thanks to the user of the CSA turingtest2 for the tip.

    Try the following:

    Open Control Panel > Device Manager

    Plug in your device

    Locate Bus USB Controllers > Apple Mobile Device USB Driver.
    It is also possible that the device may appear under imaging devices, portable devices or other devices or as a device USB of MTB.

    Right-click and select software update of the driver...

    Click Browse my computer for driver software

    Go to C:\Program Files\Common Apple Mobile Device Support\Drivers or

  • There was a problem connecting to the network

    It identifies the network properly even when I put the password - and that is the password - the comment poster 'there was a problem connecting to the network.  The WiFi network, you are trying to reach cannot be found. "Yet he already told me that the network is correct.  Frustrated!

    Is the network that you connect to your personal or public?  On my home network, I turned on an access control and when you are trying to connect with an unauthorized device, we get similar behavior.  It does not connect despite all the correct information.

  • I have a problem connecting to the internet. When I click on the internet it goes straight to windows media player

    Hi I have a problem connecting to the internet. When I click on the internet it goes straight to windows media player.

    HI Maria,

    If you are using Vista, go to http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/06/22/reset-and-fix-broken-windows-vista-file-ext-and-type-associations-include-exe-com-sys-zip-lnk-folder-drive/ and scroll down to EXE and click or double-click it to run the program to restore EXE file associations.  Once done, do the same for LNK entry.  This should restore your programs and get the Internet icon to go to the internet rather than WMP.  If you use Windows 7, go to http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html. If you are using XP, go to http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm.

    If this does not work and it started recently, try a system restore to a restore point BEFORE the problem started.  If you use Windows 7, see:http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. If you are using Vista, see:http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/. If you are using XP, see:http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial56.html.  If the first attempt fails, try an earlier point or two because the problem may have started before you noticed.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • "Problem connecting to the Server Web Services." - HP Envy 100

    Hello world

    I wonder if anyone has the same problem as me. I just got a HP Envy 100 and went through the process of setting up without problem. The printer is connected via Wi - Fi for wireless network, I can ping the printer from my Mac successfully and I can print within the network without problem.

    However, regarding ePrint and Web features, it seems that nothing really works. I can't even turn on Web services, I always get the message "problem connecting to the Web Services server.

    I tried the following:

    -Restart the router and printer

    -Change the manual IP address and manually set the DNS server

    -Reapply automatic IP and set the Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) servers

    .. .with no chance whatsoever. If this is a problem with the firmware (from what I understood, I do not have the latest firmware, but I can't ask her update, because it requires, you guessed it, a connection on the server of web services, that is the whole of the problem.)

    Anyone else having the problem? Everyone had it and fixed it? Is this just a temporary problem with HP servers?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey, for me it works as well, and I didn't, just retried that I had tried before and it connected to the Web Services without problem.

    So I think it's safe to say that the original problem in this topic only lied to a HP Server-side problem. Not cool it took so long for them to solve and in particular the fact that we did not really have feedback appropriate about the problem.

    Anyway, I solved (for now, at least).

  • Problem connecting to the Windows error reporting service

    Whenever I try to check for solutions in the Windows 7 Action Center, I get the following error message: problem connecting to the Windows error reporting service. Some of the reports can not be uploaded to the Windows error reporting service. Please try again later.

    This problem began to appear a few days ago, even if I did not any changes to my computer. I do not have any firewall (with the exception of the default Windows Firewall) and all my other programs work very well on the Internet.

    Any ideas what could cause the problem?

    Problem solved.

    I actually had to purge all existing reports by using the disk cleanup utility.

  • Irregular problem connecting to the wired network

    My Windows 7 PC has an irregular problem, connect to the local network of cable through a provided network of the netgear modem/router.

    The connection timeout is the question and sometimes takes a while four two minutes or more.

    A reboot of the pc never seems to resolve but (quite often, in fact usually) will be a restart of the modem.

    The modem is always on (as the announced network connection is supposed to be).

    The network provider has replaced the modem, and the problem persists. This leads me to believe that there is a start up or similar problem with the pc.

    I ran the troubleshooter in windows... no chance/results. Is there a "fixit" tool I could try or something similar?

    Happy to clarify, to provide more information and appreciate any input.

  • problem connecting to the web services server

    I tried to download the latest updates of software/firmware for my all-in-one HP Photosmart Prem C310a.

    I can't get updates or activate Web Services because it still gives me the error message "problem connect to the web services server.

    I tried everything in the section of the Web of HPs site including connection via WPS - unsucessfully problems.

    I understand that you have found impossible to connect to the server error message on your printer. I would first disconnect the router and the printer for about 1 minute. I would plug the router first then the printer. I would then try to enable web services. If not successful, and you get the same error message. I'd follow these steps.

    1 obtain the IP address of your printer
    a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.
    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.
    3. Select the tab network at the top of the page.
    4. on the left, select network.
    5. Select Network (IP) address
    6. select manual DNS server
    a. manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8
    b. alternate DNS server should read. 8.8.4.4
    7. Select apply you could get a fair warning select OK.

    What is the problem with my phone now? Usually, I get the error "this application has encountered an error and cannot continue" I want just my email in return. For the most part, I get "your device had a problem connecting to the server.

    I hope you can help.

    Kelly J

    Hello and welcome to the community!

    I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact TM for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • T400: Error Message - there was a problem connecting to the TPM secure

    Hello

    I am a new user of ThinkPad. I just got my T400 a week ago, and I'm a fan of him immediately. But there's this little thing that really bothers me. The second day I used my laptop, I got this error message: "There was a problem connecting to the module of TPM (safety device) on this computer", and I got this message since that date, every time I turn on my laptop.  What it means? And how do I get rid of this error message? Thank you!

    Moderator Note: Type + error message added to the line object for clarity.

    go into the bios and check if the TPM secure is enabled or disabled in the BIOS. Make sure it's on. If the problem persists then call Lenovo, could be a hardware problem.
