C309 defective wireless?

Hello

I bought a C309 all in one night and brought home, ran the installation CD on my computer (successful without any problem) plugged the USB cable into the computer and turned on, the initialization of the printer (first 10 minutes of random things and aligning the print cartridge) all right, but after that I wanted to put up wireless for my laptop and turned off my desktop computer , entered the configuration on the touchscreen printer and is the following:

(1) click on 'network '.

(2) click on "Wireless Setup Wizard".

The screen on the touch screen now reads now, «you are looking for wireless routers...» ' with a 'I don't am not frozen' bar running under it, but I think that it is hooked something because it is located on this screen permanently.  There are several security protected routers around me, routers not protected, 4 of them that my cell phone work, but I saw the printer at Staples (where I bought this printer) pick up a whole screen of routers within 30 seconds.

The wireless light is lit, he turned on the first time I click Wireless Setup Wizard, and now it turns on automatically when I turn on the printer.

I tried to do with the desktop computer, I have not lost any function printer (I can always cancel the 'research'), the scanner and touchscreen work as a result.  Really need to get this thing set up wireless in order to use it with my laptop, if I can't make it work it will be to come back tomorrow for a refund or a replacement through defect of the wireless, I just want to see if anyone else knows if there is something that I did not wrong!

Thanks for any help or information

Well Yes, your radio has failed.  Return the printer, I'm sorry.

    Help, please!

I think your printer wireless radio is dead.  You can try to reset the printer by turning off and then taking the # and 6 keys while and a few seconds after I turn it back on.

If it does not, it is to know how to contact HP technical support: www.hp.com/go/totalcare (click on printers & monitors, there is a phone number on the resulting page).

Hi smithb2, welcome to the forums there.

I saw your post on the wireless radio does not not on your model Photosmart C309.

I did some research and came across this post in the community that seemed to have worked for others with the same problem.

Re: Without the printer wireless radio does not

    I hope that helps!

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions: click here.

  • U940 PSU6VA satellite - wireless connectivity problems

    _ * My specifications: * _
    * Model: * Toshiba Ultrabook (Satellite PSU6VA - 00S 002 U940)
    * Operating system: * Windows 8.1 x 64 (upgrade of Windows 8 x 64)
    * Wireless adapter: * Intel Centrino Wireless - N 2200
    * Wireless adapter driver version: * 15.10.0.12 (which is the last for my device)

I got this Ultrabook since February 2013, and throughout this period, I always had problems with wireless connectivity, even after a factory reset. My wireless icon varies between three States:
    * Internet access
    * Limited (in which case I can't connect to the internet or any other device on the network)
    * Not connected - connections are available (and if I try to connect to the network, it will fail)

Sometimes my computer would instantly reach the State of "Internet access" at startup and remain in this State. Other times, it would be 'limited' for several minutes after the start of my computer before it finally connected, and even in this case, the connection will drop out every now and then. In the worst case, it would indefinitely remain "Limited" or "not connected", regardless of how many times I reset my adapter wireless or rebooted my computer.

Until very recently, I always thought that these problems have occurred randomly. However, I noticed recently that I have always a connection perfect, whenever there is no other computers connected wirelessly to my router, and I always have problems more or less when there is at least another computer (or even a smart phone) connected wireless to the router. If there is another computer connected to the router via an Ethernet cable, this causes no problems. It's only wireless connections that interfere with my computer.

It is only this computer that has these problems; the other computers in my house ever experience these issues, no matter how many computers is online. In addition, my computer is not only these problems with my home router; It has the same problems on the network wireless at my University.

My question is, how do I fix? Is this a known bug or is my defective wireless adapter? I know that I can connect using an Ethernet cable if possible (I have never problems with Ethernet connections), but this is not always possible at the University.

Did you remove the old driver Win 8 Intel of the system before you upgrade to version 8.1 to win?
The old Wlan Intel driver could affect the performance of a Wi - Fi connection.

The driver update page Win 8.1 says clearly that Intel Wlan driver must be uninstalled and the
Inbox Windows 8.1 version must be used.

  • Should I update driver wireless or not?

I got a HP Pavillion Dv6-6c43cl Win 7 Home Premium 2012 running with an Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 map.

Two or three times a day, stalls of the Wi - Fi and drops, forcing me to unplug and then reconnect the wireless signal, then it seems to work fine (for a while).

And even when it is running, the Dv6 wireless speed is only about half of a 2016 model HP Pavilion 15 t I sat right next to her.

So it seems that I have either a defective wireless card or I need latest drivers, right?

Assuming it's true, the safest and easiest bet is probably to try to update the drivers first to see if this resolves connection problems.

The problem is, HP Support Assistant says he has no drivers updated to for my Dv6. Yet, when I go on site software and the driver from HP for my Dv6 model, it offers what, in my view, is a driver updated for my laptop.

"My WiFi for Microsoft Windows 7 version 15.1.0.18 Intel, Intel PROSet and Intel wireless drivers" (August 31, 2016).

Is, in fact, the driver update for my Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1030 card?

    Or is it something else?

And why HP Support Assistant tells me that there are no updated drivers for my card?

Finally, if it's a better bet to forget the drivers and simply update the map instead, do I need to order a new Intel Centrino Wireless - N 1030 or get a new card faster - and if so, which?

Your opinion is that very much appreciated here.

    Thank you!

I agree with you. I have uninstall ALL the bloatware programs loaded by HP and other vendors as soon as I buy a machine. I also unload everything except on or two programs loading at startup.

The reason why I have re-installed HP Support Assistant was to see if she could tell me whatever it is my wireless card problems.

And I would never have let Windows (or tune) automatically installs the updates. Let me know about them? Sure. But I decide to settle or not, which is how I've avoided Windows to force Windows 10 on me through these two windows updates kept pushing (it was KB2952664, the other was 303 KB something or other). And that's how I avoided a lot of other problems as well.

For example, on my HP Envy, recommended Support Assistant that I install an update of the bios I did a quick search on Google and found a number of people desperate to go back.

    So, I'm here with you.

Thanks again for your help today. I'll mark this thread resolved.

  • Touchsmart 310 1033 (Windows 7 Premium) computer: Wireless no longer works

I struggle to believe that HP does not have a better approach to the questions that a rude message telling a customer that his warranty has expired. If the warranty has expired, should be the end of the world?

My pc, Touchsmart 310 1033, running Windows 7 suddenly stopped wireless, about 6 months ago. I've not been around to attend to the problem, given that the network connection has been authorized with cable. Meanwhile, I had assumed that it was a simple thing, somewhere. But now, I start thinking that I'm wrong.

I'd appreciate a solution proposed by the community.

If you have a faild or defective wireless signal or the chip, and there is not much you can do, but you can buy a wyfy stick that resembles a Flash DRIVE or memory stick something like that and you can get your AIO to rework on wyfy

  • No folios or sub tile in shared IPA file

It is a follow-up on the issue of Chris Huber, at 07:52 today posted. He solved his problems of view library and successfully downloaded two folios to its iPad mini. He has sent me the IPA file more to test it on my iPad Air.

Now I have the same problems he met earlier. The newsstand app downloads, but there are no tiles of subscription or of folios appears in the library view. The splash screen launches, but the view of the library is empty. I'm syncing by the guidelines, I did several times before on the apps that I built, but no luck with the IPA file shared.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Steve

It seems that I had a defective wireless signal, appearing as four bars but not actually the connection. I switched signals and managed to get to the library. Have shared since an other IPA for a right software that the user could download.

    Solved. Thanks for the help.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C309 wireless, can't print emails, but all the rest print on HP laptop

I can print anything on my HP laptop, but I can't print emails from my wireless HP Photosmart Premium C309. What could be the cause?

OK, the printer is connected to your router fine, so the problem is probably in your PC.

I recommend you to uninstall the HP software (with uninstalling HP), reboot, then download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

  • C309 - no bars at all (lost wireless communication).

Hello.  I have a c309g-m, and it works fine without thread for some time.  Now, all of a sudden the wireless function stopped working.  It shows no bars on the interface of the printer and can not find any wireless router.

In my apartment's wireless router works fine.  I have reset the setting on the default printer, and then after that who does nothing, I set the default printer wireless (no dice).  Depending on the printer, the wireless Radio is on.  I unplugged and left over night, plugged it again and no luck.  When I use the wireless configuration wizard, it seeks and research and now can't find anything.  In the past he would not only find my network, but some of my neighbors also.

Anyone got any ideas how I can fix this problem?

    Thank you

    Steve

Unless its under warranty is not worth fixing.  You'd spend more than buying a new printer.  The Ethernet port is useful in this respect (likely).  You could just plug it into the back of the wireless router and get the same functionality that the wireless.
