C309a does not print

My C309a all-in-One printed perfectly for 1 year.

I went to copy a letter on the glass bed. He looked at the print head printing, but the document was empty.

I then tried to print a Word and a .pdf document. The paper loaded correctly and the print head struck that it was printing, but the document was empty. I replaced all ink cartridges. I removed and cleaned the print head. I ran a test print which was OK and made a head alignment. What impression over the small screen on the printer says "alignment failed".

Someone know why does print not now when powered by my computer or will not print when copying from the top of the glass printer? Print head looks like it's printing but nothing on paper.

This questions the printer head problem. see the following steps for cleaning print head:

  • Click the Start button, if you have Windows XP. If you have Windows Vista, click the Windows icon located in the lower left corner of your computer screen.
  • Click on "Control Panel", then "printers and other devices. Finally click on "View Installed Printers or fax printers."
  • Right-click on the name of your printer and choose "Printing Preferences". This should open a new window; Then look for a tab or button labeled maintenance, or something similar.
  • Find the button that says "Print heads" or "Clean print heads" and click it. You may be asked to choose the print heads; Choose them all if you are. Make sure that there is no paper and ink in your printer, and it is turned forward.
  • Remove the page that your printer has printed and see if there are the missing gates or boxes. If it does not exist, you can just exit the program - your print heads are not blocked. If there is missing grids, then click on the "cleanup" or even button labeled.
  • Once you have finished the cleaning, print another page to make sure that your printheads are is more clogged. If they are still clogged, repeat steps 1 through 5 until your printer is printing clearly.

(3) wipe any accumulation of visible ink on the outside with clean cloth or paper towel. (4) THIS IS THE KEY: keep transport under hot running water to empty all the handwritten entries in the irrigation channels that distribute ink. Keep rinsing in clear water i.e. no sign of ink. (5) trolley dry with clean cloth and blowing in areas, you can access in order to remove the remains of the water. (6) let transport air-dry overnight. (7) Re-install transport, then reinstall the ink cartridges. 8) ENJOY YOUR PRINTER. (9) I saw many entries on this topic dating back two years, without real solution offered. I am an automotive engineer in unemployment. If HP (or anyone else) would like to hire a smart worker, engineer in the Detroit area, please inform. Thank you!

    Photosmart C309a is about 1.5 years old. Since a few days it prints no more on wlan, printing by port USB is fine. All other devices communicate very well on the router.

    Black does not print. (All HP inks) Replaced the black head - has still not printing.  Tested in an another HPprinter - head works very well.

    I understand that you are having problems with the black does not print, you have replaced the printhead to another printer and it prints fine. I want to help you.

    I'm assuming that you used the same cartridges in the print head when you try them in another printer, let me know if you didn't like it.

    Given that the new printhead works in another unit, it seems that it would be a problem with the hardware with the printer and it would need to be repaired.

    I have provided all the documentation for this problem, probably all of the steps have been made previously.

  • A text on a page does not print

    On a number of pages, such as http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4extra/programmes/schedules/2013/02/14 the text in purple - black prints. But black on the page text does not print.

    On the other hand, IE8 prints all text (in black)

    Maybe IE is not read this stylesheet even that Firefox reads this file for you. Although the Print Preview in Firefox and IE8 on my PC displays the same type of black and formatting.     Hi, I have recently updated to EL Capitan and attempted to add epson Stylus 435 with no luck. The problem is that it appears in the list of printers so I choose what it but then under 'use', I try to look for the model but number 435 was not found. I only see epson 24 pins series and epson 9-pin. I tried both choices of 24 and 9 series. My mac connects to the printer, but does not print anything. There is nothing wrong with the printer because when I print from windows 7 is very good.

    I also tried to connect my mac to the printer via the usb port and it's exactly the same as above, it does not list my model.

    What should I do?

    When you connect to this model of Epson, by network or USB, you should get a prompt indicating that a driver is available at Apple and you want to download. Given that this is not happening (perhaps due to a previous version of the driver) then you can download and install the package of printer Epson v3.2 drivers from Apple and then you should be able to add your printer.

  • I'm on a mac and my printer does not print

    I'm on a mac and it sends the document to my printer (Hp Photosmart 4680 all-in-one), but the printer does not print. My printer worked fine and now it will not print. I'm doing something wrong. This has happened once before and I am frustrated with and left for about 2 days, I had tried everything I could think of, unplug the unit for an hour or more, uninstalling and reinstalling, checked ink levels they were very good. Then all of a sudden, he started working again. I turned on my computer and the printer, and surprisingly it comes to start printing. Does anyone else have this problem? If so what do you have? Or someone has any suggestions of what I can hurt!

    Make sure that your OS X is healthy:

    1. download and install OS X Combo Update.
    2. download and install the printer driversHP from Apple.

    Finally, download the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & Driver" link at the top of this page (if you want).

    Do not connect your printer via a USB hub, connect directly to your Mac.

  • HP Deskjet 990cxi does not print color

    HP Deskjet 990cxi had for many years with no problems.  Once the color has begun to come out in pink, I replaced the cartridge from the printer and now it does not print in black and faded rose.  I replaced the cartridge with an another new and still the same results.

    Can someone help and let me know what I need to do?

    I have HP photosmart c4580, I use wireless. It prints word and excel files but does not print the PDF files. I hit print and the files disappear.

    In Adobe Reader, click file > print.

    Click Advanced.

    Check the print as Image option.

    Now try printing and search of any change.

    My HP4620 all-in-one printer does not print in black.  I put in all the new HP ink cartridges.  I used the 'tool' function to clean the printer heads (floors 1 and 2).  I downloaded the HP doctor and ran the diagonistics.  Nothing seems to have worked to get my printer to produce black text.  Once when I was feeling my test page appeared to them as an attempt very, very small printer to print black, but it is unreadable.  Any help would be appreciated.

    I have a HP Officejet 6700 connected to my desktop HP w1858.  I can't the computer to send documents to print.  The printer icon has a yellow triangle with a! Select this option.  I tried to download a driver for HP printer, but it still does not print.  Windows does not list the HP Officejet 6700 (7100 & 6500 printers are listed).  Can I use a different printer model to obtain a class driver?

    Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support.    I understand that you can't print from your printer Officejet 6700.

    I assume you see the exclamation icon is in your connected HP account.  Connected HP sometimes gives a false report that there is a problem not specified with the printer. HP has been able to reproduce the error.  If there was a genuine mistake, the message would point to the problem (low on ink, paper, etc). Unspecified error message does not prevent you to use ePrint.

    If I have understood you please let me know so that we can you top and printing.

In the queue, it says "ready to print" and the two buttons wireless to the printer are turned on. It also does not print when I connect it to the USB port.     I see that you have some problems with your machine printing Mac OSX 10.11 for the all-in-one printer Deskjet 2540. I can help you with that.

    To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. Disconnect the USB cable if it is connected.
    2. Turn the printer off.
    3. While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router.
    4. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.
    5. Close any programs you have open.
    6. On your Mac, click on your Apple icon, system preferences and printers and Scanners.
    7. Hold down the CTRL key and click on an icon of your printer on the left.
    8. Click on reset printing system.
    9. Click the 'more' in the lower left corner.
    10. Select your printer from the list.
    11. Click in the box next to and select your printer from the list.
    12. Click on Add.
