Printer does not print black

My HP4620 all-in-one printer does not print in black.  I put in all the new HP ink cartridges.  I used the 'tool' function to clean the printer heads (floors 1 and 2).  I downloaded the HP doctor and ran the diagonistics.  Nothing seems to have worked to get my printer to produce black text.  Once when I was feeling my test page appeared to them as an attempt very, very small printer to print black, but it is unreadable.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Hey Buddy,

I found and interesting article on the Web from Toshiba site:
[What steps must be followed if your Toshiba laptop does not start? | http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/ann.jspa?annID=21]

Overall this beep code means that a hardware malfunction has been detected. An ASP in your country can tell you what the problem is.

  • Satellite M60-170 does not start - black screen

I have toshiba M60-170, before it was perfect, but now I don't know what is happening?
When I try to start my computer just for 2 sec, everything is good, then the fan of sounds of the CPU and the screen is black and the stop of HARD drive.
    So everything is stop!
I try to start again but still does not.

Some body told me that it is the motherboard!
Please, someone tell me what is happens with my beautiful laptop?

    Thank you

It does not sound good friend :(

But let's try this; Remove the battery and unplug the power adapter for about 20 min.
After this short period of time connect the two parts, and try to start Notepad.

If it doesn t help the chances are that your hardware is defective. Like other guys said, it could be a fault of the motherboard or something different like CPU, memory modules.
    I can speculate on failure.

I think that you don't have many choices. In your case, you should contact the ASP in your country for a control of the laptop.

  • Satellite L850D does not start - black screen

Ok.. My wife L850D had problems with black screening started upward after the toshiba screen.

I ran a few different utilities, including a reset... it all started about 3 weeks after the victory 8.1 upgrade.

Rang technical support who kindly informed that because we put 8.1 on that he cancelled the guarantee. (btw nice guy)
    Then refused to help.

And went and reloaded Win 8 of my happens, just to see if it was a problem of hardware, software.
(yes I know, but it must have been only temp).

It starts fine, sitting there for centuries without problem.
It wasn't until I downloaded the drivers toshiba, (Yes the good) did a reboot and hey presto. black screen again.

A little, this would imply that there is a problem with the drivers of toshiba?

OK so the wife decided screw it, put Win 7 on it.
Restarted with disk in. sat and sat. Google finally informed me that I had to disable secureboot and put uefi in the csm.

OK fine, went into the bios, off course start, changed to the csm uefi and restart the computer.
Now I get nothing; screen all turns on, fan starts, cd rom shots on and nothing stops down immediately if I push the power button.

I pulled the battery, external and internal, let rest for half an hour and still the same thing.

    Any ideas?

The history is for me a little confused so let me start from the beginning with some basic stuff.
In your ad write you didn t what model do you have exactly (L850D-xxx) and I can't check the specs of the laptop but I presume that this laptop comes with preinstalled OS, probably Win8.
Laptop with factory preinstalled OS that includes all the necessary drivers and tools and utilities. One of them is Toshiba Recovery Media Creator. With this tool, you can create a recovery (DVD or USB) media and it lets reinstall the original OS if it s some problem and HDD recovery does not work.
Best option now would be to use these media and install original recovery image. Did you create this recovery media?

Generally speaking when you new notebook you do not have to use the original OS. You can install anything you want, and it has nothing to do with security. You can install any OS, all supported operating systems. So I do not understand how you could get info from technical support.

In any case, try please connect your laptop to the power supply and restart laptop. What exactly happens? See Toshiba welcome screen? Try pressing F12 repeatedly. There any reaction?

  • Extend the display does not - second black monitor

I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite C655 and I connected a 2nd monitor in order to have two screens to work on.  The screen resolution is set to the optimum level for each monitor, I chose the option "Extend these screens" and each monitor is set to a different refresh rate.  However, the second monitor stays black.  If I click on "Identify", a number 1 appears on the screen of the computer, but nothing appears on the external monitor.  Even the mouse cursor does not appear when low-pressure on this screen. I checked for updated drivers, but Windows says I already installed the best drivers.

If I go to "Duplicate the poster", the external monitor displays the desktop and the laptop screen is black.   I don't understand.  It was working fine yesterday, but today when I turned on, I'll have these problems.  I even tried plugging an external monitor that is completely different with the same results. Any help would be appreciated.

  • iPhone 5s does not have black screen, but the phone is still on

So I have a very strange problem that I couldn't really get on Google.

My iPhone doesn't come 5, after going to sleep, using the power button (my home button does not work). It will randomly start being sensitive, sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after a few hours.

By trial and error, I realized that cool the phone seemed to work fairly regularly (but not 100%), but now this method no longer works.

I'm sure that the phone is still because when I call, he goes not to the "the number you have called is not available at this time" response, it sounds just normally, but the phone does nothing.

However, connecting to a PC is the PC not recognizing anything plugged and that the phone itself does not seem to charge.

When he "wakes" it is as if I just plugged it and shows me the lock screen and everything is normal.

Thanks in advance for your time

By reading your post I was stuck on hardware failure, perhaps the LCD screen or logic board and then you wrote this. Please you elaberate on what you mean by "it is as if I just hooked it up". Actually connect? Does it make the chimes as you he plugged in even if you don't have?

  • HP 255 G2 does not start-> black screen (my fault)

    Here's the situation:

Purchased a HP 255 G2 (windows 8.1) to be used with Linux Mint.

I know that I have to enable the legacy mode in the BIOS and disable secure boot. I forgot the last part (disable startup secure).

Now I can't do anything with the laptop, it does not meet the ESC or F10 to enter the BIOS to correct my error.

I also have a USB stick with flash of the BIOS, but it does not boot from the USB key to reflash the BIOS.

Does anyone have a clue as to what I can do next? Picked up by HP for repair?

    Hi Fd1sk,

Your HP 255 G2 is a commercial product and get your question more exposure, I would say post in the trade forums. Here is a link to the forum Commercial Notebook.

    Hello

I have a problem on my PC (by Satellite C855D-124) specifically was playing a game, and stopped from nowhere I could not do any command then off button.

But as I returned the call and turned the lights appeared as the charge appears as a small light and also appears on your but then nothing appeared on the monitor, no warning or error message...

Then it connects but does not seem to do anything and I would like to know if you can help with advice on what happened and what I do or what I can do...

Sorry for the mistakes but I do on google translator...

    Hello Adrian

For me it is not easy to understand your problem, but what you can do right now is to restart your laptop and check if the basic operations are working properly. Try restarting several times to see what will happen.

Start the laptop computer can see you Toshiba welcome screen?
Is there a usual activity of HARD disk at startup?

  • Vista does not start: black splash screen E-Machines offer F2 & F10

After a while, he seems to be trying to boot from the CD (unsuccessfully, of course), and then tells me to insert the disk system. The machine came with one.

Reset the CMOS by pulling and reinserting the battery. Unplugged/replugged the HD to the mobo. That's all I can access without removing the optical drive, which does not seem easy.

    Hello

Acer is the owner of eMachines.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

To reinstall Vista using a DVD of Microsoft Vista, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

You can borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/84488-activate-Vista-phone.html

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

It may be F8, F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

    See you soon.

  • M17x R1 does not start - black screen - fan turns, turns on the keyboard, nothing on the screen.

    Hi all

    Newbie here and desperate.

I have a problem with M17x my son this morning. Everything worked very well and after some time, turned off the machine it self.  Now it does not start even - at least I think, it won't because there is nothing on the screen as it is empty.

I've tried several things, including trying to move on and outside, with or without a battery of the power cord.

I'm at a loss as to what could have happened.

    Help, please.

    Smakwam.

The gpu of cooking is very easy in fact, that you have designated your oven to about 275 degrees cover a cookie sheet with paper and configure the map out of it by winding 4 balls of aluminum foil and their definition on each corner of the map. you never want to have it put all directly on the sheet. do Cook for about 10 minutes then cool before coming back into the laptop. Always be sure to remove all of the components and the radiator and any residue of thermal paste. After sick cooking you need to reapply a fresh thermal paste. I use artic silver 5. It is has more detailed instructions on this online, as well as photos. You want to make sure it's your video card before you do it just to be sure. I just had to do it again last week, works like a charm for me every time.

  • Custom settings does not? Black screen!

After doing windows updates and reboot my laptop, it allows me to connect, but instead to load my desktop screen, it turns just black. A small box will appear that says "custom settings (not answer) ' I'm lost. What is the problem and how to fix it?

A small box will appear that says "custom settings (not answer).

Interesting.   The part 'black screen' of your symptom could mean that explorer.exe has crashed and not able to restart.   I don't know why you might then see this second symptom, except that it sounds like something that could be a part of the explorer.exe recovery procedure, for example it reminds me of a procedure that automatically never came to be reviewed when W8 was first installed.

In any case, even if you have a black screen, you can try to start the Task Manager and use it to start other things.   First of all, it would be useful to make a difference on the issue of whether you have a 'black' screen or a 'screen '.   For example if there is a fringe of light around the edges and it's just quite dark, but not as dark as it would be if turned off, screen "in white" could be a more accurate description.   Then you might be able to see things if they were added, which would be less likely, if she was black.   For example, you can move your mouse and see a pointer moves on the dark?   So I think this would be an example of a screen "empty."

And then, to start the Task Manager press Ctrl + Alt + Del and the use of the Task Manager item in the menu hotkey to rise.   You can then use its Prcesses tab to see if the Windows Explorer appeared there.   If you can use the TM file, do not run... command to start typing here: explorer.exe

However, another possibility that some people have been able to see is their primary screen inexplicably switched to a second monitor ghost.   Then pressing Win - P, CursorUp and Enter to try to change the setting of the Second screen can be a procedure simpler and more effective to try to get something on the monitor that you are watching.

    FYI

  • OfficeJet pro 7680 does not use black ink. "alignment failed" is the error message.

How can I solve this problem? I put a new ink in the printer, rebooted and still nothing. Thank you.

    Hello

Try following the steps below to calibrate the linefeed, reinsert the printhead, etc.. :

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01957673

If the problem persists with no change, I'm afraid you need to replace the Black / Yellow Printhead...

As a general rule, any other value that only good health of print head indicates a problem with the condition of the print head...

Given the fact that the print heads are already 3-4 years old (warranty ends about 2 years from the date of manufacture of printer), it might be time to replace the B/Y printhead.

    Kind regards

  • Does not work black screen embedded youtube, twitch.tv, etc.

If this problem came a day or two ago and my computer isn't the only one affected by this.

Youtube embedded videos appear as just a black box. I watch many videos on youtube itself.

I can watch embedded twitch.tv diffuse however I can't watch on twitch.tv itself.

On some forums I visit if someone has a spoiler tag and I click to open it just forces me to the top of the page and doesn't do anything to open the spoiler.

None of the products appear on Target.com and if I try to narrow down the results (which do not exist) on the left side, nothing happens that you get just forced to the top of the page as the number of spoiler tag.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall java, firefox, quicktime, and flash. I tried to run firefox in safe mode. I tried just to disable adblock and noscript. I tried leaving adblock and noscript on but allowing all scripts and pop-up windows. I made sure that all my plugins are up to date. I cleared my cookies and cache. I don't know I tried some other stuff I don't remember even at this stage. Again, this is not only a problem on my computer, it is also a question about 2 laptops, FF 20.0 operation, my office and the other are running FF 20.0.1.

(I took screenshots of all the issues involved as well as the plug ins update but I don't see where to add them.)

So I've narrowed it down so it's most likely a problem with javascript. Before, I never knew that java and javascript have nothing to do with each other. With this knowledge, I found that javascript is linked to your browser itself. Theres no way of javascript itself to uninstall and reinstall to fix the problem. I already tried to uninstall/reinstall firefox so either something went seriously wrong or I somehow had no thought for the guilty again, and whereas I ruined my brain and couldn't think of anything else before formatting my computer, I was at a loss.

With 2 other computers with these questions, it seemed that it could be the browser related since I had not being updated anything on the other computers recently. But if it is why firefox itself wasn't there a storm of protest from the internet? Certainly, I couldn't be the only one to get screwed.

Then it dawned on me. I wonder if my router would block javascript somehow. Sure enough there was something called "filter applets java" which is the erroneous mention since its not java but javascript. Unchecked and suddenly everything is all better! I don't know how this started, but I was out, trying to figure out this stupid thing = P

So if someone else never falls by chance on this thread with a similar problem, check your router, it might be screwing you over and you would never realize. Apparently, it has developed before and people have reformatted trying to fix only to discover later that the router was the question. Thank God it is not come to this!
