  I understand that you are having problems with the instructions in the manual that explains how 'Touch Fax Confirmation with the image. You have followed the instructions and can not get the same result.

  After completing step 4 and select 'Send of Fax' or 'send and receive', you will come to a new screen that asked 'Touch Fax Confirmation with image' or 'Touch Fax Confirmation'.

  These steps are correct because I have the same version of the firmware and the same printer here at my desk and I followed these steps to get the "Confirmation of fax Touch with image.

  When I have something fax above, I get a fax confirmation indicating that the fax was sent.  I'm looking to capture the first page of the image with this fax confirmation.  I was able to do it on my other officejet pro 8600 all in one, but now I am unable to do it with this replaced machine which was covered by my warranty.

  I understand that you have a 8600 Officejet you wish to turn on the image for the fax confirmation report. I'd be happy to help you with this.

  I must say though, it was frisk me throughout this menu from the printer! What you need to do is:

  1. Press (right arrow) and then press Setup.

  2. press on the Fax Menu (can say Fax Setup)
  3. press on the reports of fax and then touch Fax of Confirmation.
  4. tap on (fax) or we (send and receive).
  5. press on the Fax Confirmation with the image.

  Then when you get a Fax Confirmation it should the page it should have this small image of the first page.

  Follow the instructions below.

  To activate the fax confirmation
  1. press the arrow to the right and select Setup.
  2. press on the configuration of the fax, click Fax reports.
  3. press on the Confirmation Fax.
  4. tap to select one of the following options.

  • Discount - does not print a fax confirmation report when you send and receive faxes successfully. It is the default setting.
  • (Fax Send): Prints a report of fax confirmation for each fax you send.
  • On (fax) - prints a report fax confirmation for each fax that you receive.
  • On (Send and Receive) - prints a report fax confirmation for each fax that you send and receive.

  Prints a report of fax confirmation for each fax that you send and receive.

  In the fax configuration Select Fax of Confirmation (on Fax Send) as you listed it, then remember to choose to include the first page in this menu.

  From the main screen of the printer you select Fax and then press settings, set the method Fax Scan and Fax and confirm.

  Now try to fax once more, do not forget to place the original pages on the top of the charger page, be aware that it does apply only for faxes sent from the charger, no glass flat.

  The printer click Fax, and then click the Fax Menu.

  Click Fax reports, and then click Fax of Confirmation and replace value "on Fax Send'.

  If you want the confirmation to include a thumbnail of the 1st page you can set as on "include first Page."

  We have an Officejet Pro 8600 Premium who send pictures ith Fax Confirmations on is turned on. And seems to work when physically fax of the charger of the printer very well. But when sending faxes via the network by software HP print no confirmation. And we really need to have each sent fax print a confirmation no matter how it is sent to the printer. Is a known, issue or how we have implemented it must do what we want and the fact that it is not is expected outside the behavior? Any info would be really useful because we really need to have confirmation of our faxes.

  A fax printed confirmation email (whether with or without a picture of the first page) is available for a dax sent from the device itself, such is not available when sending a fax from the Fax HP software.

  For the fax software, you can only view the software Fax log include a list and the status of the last 30 fax jobs.

  To get a printed report, you will need to send the fax from the device itself. This is the way all work HP printer by its design, it is not a software problem.

  It is easy to set up. Just go to the installation (on printer) > print report > Fax confirmation > on Fax Send

• On the all-in-one C410a, can I get a fax confirmation page print automatically?

  It seems that the machine is set by deafult to print a fax only report on the unsuccessful attempts Telec.  can it be configured to print a page of report of confirmation of fax for all faxes, successful or not?

  Click on the Setup button on the printer control panel.

  Locate the print report. then click on OK.

  Locate the Fax of Confirmation using the right arrow, and then click on OK.

  Set as on Fax Send by using the right arrow, click OK to confirm.

  In order to save paper and ink, you can disable any error report be error Fax report settings as Off.

  This way, you will know that fax has failed when even the confirmation report was not printed.

  The install button is the key at the top of your front panel of the printer ().

  In the menu Setup go to reports using the right arrow and click OK to confirm.

  Select Fax of Confirmation, click OK and set its value by selecting on (Fax Send), and then click OK to confirm.

  Of the printer, click on the Setup button ().

  Click the right arrow button until print report appear, and then click OK.

  Click the right arrow until Fax error displayed, then click OK.

  Change the value to Off using the right arrow, and then click OK.

  Until the main printer appears, click the Cancel button.

  Now the error report cannot be printed more.
