on YouTube I can not find the suggested reading list. I refreshed and restarted but nothing changes.im using windows 8, so I tried my office tiles and YouTube works fine on it, but apart from that it would not work. YouTube opens fine, but once you select a video it plays without suggestions. also some videos don't play or paste can stop or display blurry. I tried Google, and from what I've read, I think maybe it's cookies. im not tech savvy so I have no idea what to do. Help, please.

I had problems with some websites load incredibly slowly and direct to other websites very slowly. Some of them I can't access because it says my connection has been reset. One of them where it says the connection has been reset is YouTube, but when I go to a video through a direct link everything okay.

What else is odd, is that blogging on Tumblr is loading very slowly for me, but the dashboard went very well and load perfectly.

  • Clear the Cache and Cookies... downside? What problems this may create?

I'm having problems of speed, scroll wheel, etc... and didn't "clean" my MacBook Pro 15 "Late 2008 with upgrade of RAM because I do not know how to clean it up." So, I was informed that the cache and cookies from 8 years of use of the compensation would be a good start. Before you do it... What problems it will create? WilI I need to know ALL the passwords and ID to all my sites, I need to prepare and or know that I need to deal with when I do this? Are there other things 'cleansing' can I do to make my MacBook Pro works best? Thank you and God bless you!

Start with these simple steps (after that you made that you have a backup of all your data!):

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

This will put you in Mode without failure, which will be even slower than you used to. Don't worry: after starting over, you can immediately restart in normal mode. In this way, a lot is 'cleaned' automatically.

If it doesn't improve speed, thanks for posting a report of Etrecheck: http://etrecheck.com

  • 'YouTube Cookies disorder' in Firefox on Mac 15

From yesterday when using Flash Video Downloader in Firefox 15.0.1 running on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.7.4 2011 I started to have the dialog box next box when I try to download any video from YouTube.

    YouTube Cookie problem
To continue the download of youtube, you need to clear cookies for youtube.
You want to delete Youtube cookies right now?

When I click on the button for Flash Video Downloader in the menu bar I get this dialog immediately and clear the cookies makes no difference, the problem persists and I can't start a download. If I use the button at the bottom left of the browser, I can get Flash Video Downloader to bring to the top of the full window but all the videos seem to be n/d and do not show their size. If I click on the download in this window button, nothing happens and in the Firefox download window the file is size 0 KB.

This only happens on YouTube now and no other sites that I frequent. It also contains exactly the same on the old Mac running older versions of Firefox and older versions of Mac OS X, I searched for the last day and cannot find a single reference to this dialog box or this problem. Has anyone else seen this problem firsthand?

I already ran through the usual reset, update, deactivate, reactivate and disable any other routine and nothing makes no difference. But right after I post my question, I was able to download a YouTube video making that, just before I clicked the Flash video download button in the menu bar, I deleted all the cookies. The downloaded video then normally. If I make the mistake of click the DL with even an existing cookie then there is no way to solve the problem, it is a continuous loop of the dialog box and no way to fix without restarting Firefox. This is certainly a new subdivision and probably because of something, YouTube has changed on their side.

I don't allow cookies many remove them all a few minutes and always automatically remove when Firefox closes, but this behavior has begun in the last 48 hours and as I mentioned appears to be independent of my machine, OS, and browser version. It is limited to YouTube only however. I just wanted to post this because I'm probably not the first to experience this problem and I don't know others he will soon be seen. Thank you.

  • How to clear the cache and cookies?

I have a Satellite L350 lent by a friend - usually, I work on a Mac and am familiar with computers.

Is it necessary to empty the cache and cookies from time to time, and if so, how do we?

    Hey Buddy,

    > Is it necessary to clear cache and cookies from time to time
Not normally but I do from time to time because a lot of temporary internet files and cookies is stored so I remove to keep my own system ;)

But it s depending on the browser you are using any Web browser registers its own files internet for what browser you used?
If you use Internet Explorer, you can delete the files in the control panel > network and internet > internet options.

If you need more instructions, just after again. ;)

  • Smartphones blackBerry PUSH CONTENT CACHE and CACHE of COOKIE

Always begin by thanking you people because of the knowledge I have in here, my bberry works fine, so THANK ALL OF U! OK in the operations of cache options we have clear history, clear the content cache, clear pushed content and clear cache cookie. What is pushed content and when should I delete it? Also what if ever should clear the cache of cookie? Please if you PLEASE help me again I do appreciate and remember very well. I am very grateful for these forums. Also when should I clear the content cache? Thank you again and again.

    M@Rvin,
The cookie cache contains your passwords and all that would mean is that you would have to retype it again within a web account or what you have. The content pushed is that BB or carriers are to communicate between your device and themselves as emails of parameters that are pushed and I don't know what else. You can erase everything all the time, and you won't need to worry. Why it might help is when esp. cookies and cache fill, it can slow down the browser can help clear things out on a regular basis. I let the cookies and cache and delete the rest all day out of habit.

  • my cache and cookies will be if I switch to version beta of firefox or normal frefox aurora

I am now seriously thinking to switch to firefox beta or aurora, but it is very confusing to me because now I'm currently on normal firefox I know how to synchronize bookmarks etc, the thing that worries me are my cookies and cache especially my cache so if I install a new version of will, they wear

I'm not saying that you should not install a beta or a version of Aurora, just that it is better to keep out of Firefox and prepare for questions and release with his own profile (do not run the same profile with different versions).

It can always be issues even if they are less likely with beta versions.

It's a good idea to test the beta version, so if things go wrong so you can file a bug report, if necessary and have serious problems solved before it becomes a release.
