Caesar IV prob

I installed the Caesar IV game on my laptop. But it does not work it says Direct X prob & install the latest version of Direct X... While my laptop has installed Direct X 11.0... Please solve the problem.

-C' is a common misconception that Win7 has only DX 11. Win7 has three versions of

DX - 9,10 and 11.
However, a fresh install of Win7 is not all DX files so it is important to run the
Sea DirectX installs, if this has never been done.

Download DirectX end-user Runtime Web Installer from the official Microsoft Download Center

-Sometimes the DX files may be damaged. In this case reinstall DX using the full installation package DX Redist (June 2010) is the best option, because the Web Installer does not overwrite existing files.

Download details - Microsoft Download Center - DirectX Redist (June 2010)

Note that this Setup will first decompress the files in a directory of your choice (a new folder on)

the office is good).

Then, you must open the folder and select the DXSETUP.exe to reinstall DirectX.

After you run the DXSETUP.exe, you can delete this folder.

-There is a small chance that might help choose XP sp2 compatibility mode.

(R / click on the shortcut of games or an executable > click Properties and then click on the)

Compatibility tab select XP sp2 in the menu).

-This kind of error can also result if the graphics on you laptop is not compatible with the game.

  • NEW Prob with the creation of Itunes folder

With the help of wind 7. Sorry if I post in the wrong place... first post

I use Itunes 10.  I tried to update recvd ' message cannot get server '.» I will update later, or can someone tell me the answer to this problem?

My main problem is I moved my library in another drive.  Lost all my playlist, etc. (always have the files).  Tried many variations of repair by trying some other .itl file and .xml files. Now finally decided to REBUILD (have all music, etc.).  My BIG problem is that I can't start AGAIN.  I try and deleted all the folders to Itune.  Trying to FIX this prob. I created a situation where when ITunes all my Itune for opening files pop up on my desk.  I made changes in the preferences (location changed Itune file) but Itunes still removes the files on my desktop...  ICAN can't stop it. I uninstalled Ver 10 (after trying to update) and always the same prob.

Please PLEASE HELP... Sorry to say, I have worked with it for 3 days and I got frustrated and lost. Please help me get this new database has started, and I'll pick the prob of update as soon as POSSIBLE.

    Thank you

iTunes data appearing on the desktop may be the result of incorrect permissions. For more information, see fix for iTunes for Windows security permissions . Take a look at make a library of portable split. If you want to create a new library, you need to press on and hold the SHIFT key as you launch iTunes, then use the option to create a library. If you still have the old .itl file I can help you fix the library if you put all the pieces together in the standard layout.

  • Need a graphic driver for Satellite Pro L10 to play Caesar IV

I have problems with the chart to a new game (Caesar IV) element on my laptop. The game requires "hardware T & L" for 3D graphics, but the forum games tells me that computers laptops with the chipsets are not configured to run these types of games. Apparently I need a graphics card any.

I don't understand why my (relatively) new Centrino laptop with a processor is unable to use the graphic chipset.

Where can I find a driver for the type of chart using my game?

    Hello

I think that the Caesar IV is a game that requires a graphics card with better performance than the Intel 855GM graphics card with 16 MB to 64 MB shared memory.

The game asks for the graphics card with graphical support entirely in 3D and in my opinion the laptop card is not able to support these graphics to full power.

I put t know if the driver update will help you.
It s more case of hardware as a software issue

  • A temperature probe is really necessary for the replacement of the hard drive?

I replaced the hard drive in my late 2009 iMac 21.5 ". In the OWC video, he calls for a probe. My hard drive is not one of the built-in ones. I was wondering if I really need or the computer will work fine without it?

Well without it your HD fan will be clocked at high speed all the time. The good news is that you can also control the fans/temp via the software. Here is a free software that works very well. http://www.eidac.de/

  • with WSN Vernier temperature probe?

Hello everyone. I have a hard time trying to get the sensor measures.

I created the thread here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/steinhart-hart-with-vernier-thermistor/m-p/2811150

I think that now the formula is fine. So I realized, it could be that I chose the wrong node to work with probe thermistor based.

So now I took node voltage/resistance NI WSN-3226. I don't know how to wire properly. EX0, AI0, and GND.

Any help would be so awesome. Thank you

    Nicely,

    Poor

    Poor Hello,

That's right - you get a voltage scale out, not a resistance value.  The manufacturer has provided additional information on the use of their probes with different here:

Vernier: Can I use BTA Vernier sensors with another of A - to-D converter?

    http://www.Vernier.com/til/1952/?keyword=WRT-BTA

In addition, it seems that there are already example screws provided making this conversion voltage - to-resistance to-probe.  I have found these Vernier website with terms like "ELVIS", "BTA-vehicles" and "reduced the tension.

Vernier: Why is the temperature sensor read correctly with my NI ELVIS

    http://www.Vernier.com/til/2925/?keyword=BTA-ELV

NI.com: Interfacing screw for Vernier biosensors (download of example provided at the top right)

    http://www.NI.com/example/31019/en/

The VI "convert thermistor rdg" provided in the zip file seems to apply Ohm's law to determine the resistance of the thermistor of the acquired power, as you have noted.

As a note - all this information was already available on the Web site with a minimum of research NOR and Vernier.  It's probably a good thing to consolidate this information in a single thread/place so that future users have access to it (that's why I'm a link everything), but by doing some research on your own or contact the manufacturer directly could have you up and running last week!  In addition, you must be sure that you understand your sensor and conditioning circuit before using the computer, do not understand what is happening is a good way to end up with measurement errors.

In addition, you plan on leaving the WSN node attached to a Committee of ELVIS for the acquisition?

  • Can I use a probe with my NI4461 to measure the 100vpp(permanent)?

    Hello

I use a NI4461 card with 2 inputs and 2 outputs. I have a signal generator with a signal of 125 Hz 100vpp(permanent) I want to characterize using labview (FFT, amplitude, etc.).

The limits of entry on the NI4461 being +/-42 .4V, I was hoping to use a X 10 probe, which is similar to a scope.

However I find this works do not correctly in the mitigation of the probe doesn't seem to be a constant 10 x. Although my reach (with a second probe) reads 100vpp(permanent), my NI4461 detect 82Vpp.

Am I missing something? Are there alternatives to read > 42.4 v reports on the 4461 with a probe?

I checked and exchanged probes and they both work find on the scope, but not on the 4461. Is there a special probe that has a match of good impedance for the 4461 you can recommend?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I actually build an out two very large resistance voltage divider which seems to work fine.

The circuit is simple, two resistors in series connected to the ground at the same time on my main unit. By attaching the son of sense of tension on a single resistance I can divide the voltage in two (two resistors have the same index). I calibrated the system and it seems to work.

    Thank you for your suggestions.

  • Probe FBUS node

Is it possible to continuously send sensor nodes to the field device and monitor the response of the probe to check if a package is missed?

I want to program the NOR-FBUS configurator to send PNs programmatically.

1 NOR-FBUS interface device always use master link and LAS.

    2. battery (firmware) of the interface card OR-FBUS (PCI/PCMCIA-FBUS/USB-8486) is responsible for the shipment of the promissory notes. The stack is running on the device interface. It can not be controlled external. In fact, there is no need to send by programming interface card PNs. NOR-FBUS will send PNs automatically and permanently as long as Manager of Communications is running. You don't need to run the Configurator.

3 communications Manager or the Configurator cannot monitor the FF data at the level of the Protocol packets. Configurator is a tool to configure without feature followed by data packets. To do this, you must use the OR-FBUS Monitor software. Monitor is a capture tool data package to the level of the Protocol and analysis.

  • Can I probe a member of class reentrante clone dynamically shared a reshipment vi?

Please, there must be a way.

Currently, I am forced to change the execution not reentrant VI, to debug and then go back to running reentrante shared clone.  Of course, there is a reason, so it's not ideal I on re-entrant execution.

    Any ideas?

    AnthonV wrote:

It seems there is no way to probe an overloaded dynamically dispatched Member vi if it is reentrant?

No, it's easy probing such a VI, If you can open the front panel.  You cannot open the FP in the usual way, but there are several ways to do so.  Putting a breakpoint in the "original copy" of the VI will also breakpoints in clones, forcing them to open their public Service.  Also, try clicking the Subvi and selecting the menu option "call Subvi Setup...". ', then 'See the façade when it is called' (or do it for all the clones in the VI properties).  You can also use debugging tools "Step by step" to "enter in" the Subvi call.  And VI master, you can select "view > navigate relationships > incoming points" to open clones.

Additional caveat: unless your on in real time, in which case ur stuck.

Download IMGBurnand use its discovery mode. Discovery mode will give you on your DVD burner and installed media troubleshooting information.

IMGBurn is a free utility that allows you to burn CD/DVD of the IMG and ISO files.

Have you tried a different brand of CD or DVD?

  • Conditional probes

    Hi all

I was hoping I might be able to get a little help with conditional LabVIEW probes in 2015.  My understanding about the conditional probes, it's that I would have to option to create a conditional probe for the data type of the thread I'm probe by going to the menu "Custom probe.  As in if I right click on a cluster of error thread I should be able to right click-Online Custom Probe-online conditional error probe.  My problem is that no option is there when I go to "Custom Probe".  I have only options for the 'Orders' and 'new '.... ».  Anyone can do the light as to where I could get the parameter to include conditional probes in my menu custom default probe?

    Thank you very much!

    Ian

Thanks for the iniput, I worked in fact just the solution myself.  If someone else falls on a problem similar to the problem with my 'LabVIEW data' folder having appeared in a place that does not exist.  So LabVIEW was not load default probes in the folder _Probes on the inside, and they were not to appear.  The solution was to go options and point the 'default data directory"to an existing location and repair of LabVIEW.  Specifically, you need to change the data directory before repairing, or you'll end up sitting and waiting for LabVIEW to repair for nothing... maybe I did several times... Oops!

  • What is the channel set up to measure the axial thrust of the probes with Tomas eZ software and a data logger IOtech

Y at - there anyone out there who can give advice on setting up a probe of the axial thrust in eZTomas. I tried all the configurations that I can think of, but the gauge still shows just a full scale even when I connect a battery 9.5V.

  • Probe an event reminder vi

    Hi all.

Please could someone tell me why when I probe, or turn on tracing on the block diagram of a vi event reminder nothing is shown even though I know the vi has been called because I can the results of it being called. I'm in Labview 2009.

    Thanks in advance

    Ian

    It's clones

When your program runs, LabVIEW makes copies of you re-entering VI so that you can call them several places and have them run dependent on the other. With your sub VI is already open you watched the EDICT of the VI version. While LabVIEW worked a copy (or clone) of the Sub VI.

Normally (non-re-come) VI only have a copy of your sub VI. If you call your sub VI of several palaces at the same time, the sub VI can only run one at a time and the other one must wait for the VI is free.

In this case the edition and Run VI mode mode is part of the same.

You have disabled in action of VI. Probably disabled the debugging.

  • LV 2010 probes are in RT (yes they performed)

I don't have the code and could not share if I did but I agree to give you a heads up and maybe someone else can confirm.

In LV 2010 when a RT application, some of the probes said problems "not executed". Other probes that have been 'downstream' showed an update.

    Botton line is so...

If the probe say not executed but you have given downstream lies the probe.

    You've been warned,
