Calculation of time difference

Hi Experts,

I had separate columns for the date and time and have an obligation to calculate the time difference between them.

Examples of data as below.

_ Date ordered Date classified at the time as time released
27/04/2010 06:36 04/27/2010 08:21:55
27/04/2010 06:36 04/27/2010 07:07:29
27/04/2010 06:36 04/27/2010 07:07:29
27/04/2010 06:36 04/27/2010 07:07:29
27/04/2010 06:36 04/27/2010 07:07:29

How to calculate the time difference between ordered and distributed in minutes?

Published by: Sweta on April 27, 2010 04:34

This gives a shot:

SELECT  SOH_ORDER_NO
,       (
                (SOH_DATE_RELEASED + TO_NUMBER(TO_CHAR(SOH_TIME_RELEASED,'SSSSS'))/(60*60*24))
        -       (SOH_DATE_CREATED + TO_NUMBER(TO_CHAR(SOH_TIME_CREATED,'SSSSS'))/(60*60*24))
        )*24*60 AS DIFF_IN_MINUTES
FROM    SALES_ORDER

You should really think about change this data model if you can.

  • calculation of time under a form

    I have a form, I can't understand how to calculate time I have 6 boxes, in that I need to put some time and the box 7 would be the total time.

    This form is used to our fire department to show the trucks in road - to - stage time - to-another sure - to - left scene - to - service time... and then the total time in the final area I believe that subtract you all the time on the road in total. but I have no idea, I tried everything and can not understand.  I can download the form if you need.

    Thank you

    I have attached an updated version of your form.

    The time calculations are always a bit tricky, and it is one of the areas that I wish that Adobe would treat a little better.  In this case, I assumed that you are using 24-hour time formats.  Calculation of the difference is a bit tricky, since shopping can extend to midnight and the end time value will be smaller than the start time.  The simplest method is fairly rudimentary: calculate the hours and minutes separately and adjust if the time extend to midnight.

    In the attached form, I made the first column for you.  There are new javascript in the case to calculate cell TotalTime910.  You should be able to copy this script and paste it into the Calculate event to other cells TotalTime; the only change you'll need to do is to change when the startTime and endTime values are extracted.  For example, for the TotalTime911 cell, we will use the Row2.enroute911 and Row6.InService911 fields.

    Don't forget to change the drop-down list JavaScript language when you paste in each event.

    Also, I changed the models of cell for the cells in the column 910: null} | NUM 9999 {}.  This will display the values in the right format of 24 hours, for example 0200 at 02:00.  If it works for you, copy the model in other cells in the table.  I eliminated the zero {} template because it causes midnight you should see a white; It should be displayed as 0000.

    Finally, all this falls apart if you are on-site 24 hours. In this case you will need the date and time to make it work.  I hope that nothing in your town will burn so long.

    Simply the sum of time_actioned - time_allocated, then do the same calculation you make on this sum.

    Hello

    How to calculate the time difference by using javascript.

    Example 15.05 and18.35 difference is 2 h 30 min

    Maybe something like this works:

    // result is 3.300000000000002 ~ 3h 30min
    (parseFloat((18.35 - 15.05) / 3600) * 3600)

    AHA!

    TO_TIMESTAMP expects a string as input, so it first makes an implicit conversion from DATE to a string, in the format of NSL_DATE_FORMAT.

    To convert the TIMESTAMP DATE independently NLS_DATE_FORMAT, use

    CAST ( AS TIMESTAMP)

  • How do you time differences in first 10 items?

    Hi, I was wondering how to make time differences in first 10 elements. I tried just clidking a picture then clicking on time warp and setting the time for 1 frame but I can't apply it to all of them. I also went to Edition, preferences, general and set of stills duration by default of 1 frame, but it doesn't matter.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    I did a lot of videos broken down into first.

    There are several factors that probably need to test first. The largest exam is the interval of the stills shot, and then the 'look' that one wishes to achieve.

    For the most part, I'm going to Edit > preferences (before I import still Images) and change the time again to something around 3-5 frames. This is once again, after a few tests. Then I import still Images. I also put the duration of Transitions to be quite short, depending on how many images I have chosen.

    After importing, I ensure that the fixed image files are sorted numerically, select several files and drag those to the timeline. Then, I apply the default value (shortened to change preferences > General > video Transitions) to each Image.

    Usually, I start with maybe 10 Images and experiment with life still picture, until I'm comfortable with the look for this topic.

    Good luck and hope that helps.

    var date: Date = new Date();

    Set timer to what would I like to call the function

    Set up of the 24-hour clock

    var tMinute:Number = 60;
    var tSecond:Number = 60;

    Get the current time
    var cHour:Number = date.getHours ();
    var cMinutes:Number = date.getMinutes ();
    var cSeconds:Number = date.getSeconds ();

    Set the first variable
    var fH:Number;

    var fS: Number;

    A second set of Variable
    var sH: number;

    fM = cMinutes - tMinute;
    fS = cSeconds - tSecond.

    }
    ElseIf (cMinutes > 0 | cSeconds > 0) {}

    sS = sS * (-1);
    }
    finalMil = (sH * 60) + (sM * 60) + (sM * 60);

    Allows you to implement a timer
    var yahooTime:Timer = new Timer (finalMil, repeat);
    var repeat: Number = 1;

    yahooTime.start ();

    yahooTime.addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER, displayCall);

    function displayCall(event:TimerEvent):void
    {
    trace ("well let's success");
    }

    your first trace() statement is almost certainly not what you want.

    dtDate2 is 08/08/2009

    and it's probably not what you want.  Flash months are zero-based.  That is to say, January corresponding to month 0 and December is the month 11.

  • Time difference in hours

    Hello

    I have 2 dates in my picture of the '2008-12-22 12:20 ' format. Can you please help me to find the time difference in hours, excluding Saturdays and Sundays using SQL.

    Thanks for all your suggestions.

    Sharan.

    Hello Sharan,
    If I understand correctly you want to calculate the difference in hours between 2 dates, excluding Saturday and Sunday hours (a kind of working hours, if we worked 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday :)).

    If this is the case and you have two dates in two columns on the same record to take a look at the following query
    (Loulou gave a solution if you have dates on individual files):

    select id
          ,d1
          ,d2
          ,case
           when trunc(d1,'iw') != trunc(d2,'iw') -- dates in different week
           then
              ((trunc(d1,'iw')+5)-least(d1,trunc(d1,'iw')+5))*24 -- first_week
             +((trunc(d2,'iw'))-(trunc(d1,'iw')+7))/7*5*24       -- middle_weeks
             +(least(d2,trunc(d2,'iw')+5)-trunc(d2,'iw'))*24     -- last_week
           else -- dates in the same week
             (least(d2,trunc(d2,'iw')+5)-least(d1,trunc(d1,'iw')+5))*24
           end as working_hours
    from dates
    ;

    Below you can see an example (I guess that d1 is always less than d2):

    SQL> alter session set nls_language = 'AMERICAN';

  • Calculation of the time differences between several lines

    Hello

    I have a table as below:

    EVENT ID DATE
    1. start 05/03/2012-13:00
    1. stop the 15:00 05/04/2012
    1. start 09:00 05/07/2012
    1 stop on 05/09/2012 10:00
    Start 2 08/06/2012-08:00
    2 stop on 08/07/2012 10:00

    I would like to calculate the duration (in hours ideally) between 'Start' and 'Stop' for each ID, so having a set of lines:

    ID TimeSpan
    ---------------------
    1 75
    26 2

    I would appreciate any idea how to solve this, ideally as a SQL solution or maybe a function.

    Thank you very much!
    Tom

    The difference between two dates is a number, where 1 = 1 day. Multiply by 24 to get hours.

    Use the LAG, as stated above, to compare the date prior to the current date.

    create table T(TID, EVENT, TDATE) as select
    1, 'start', TO_DATE('03/05/2012 13:00:00', 'dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') from DUAL union all select
    1, 'Stop',  TO_DATE('04/05/2012 15:00:00', 'dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') from DUAL union all select
    1, 'start', TO_DATE('07/05/2012 09:00:00', 'dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') from DUAL union all select
    1, 'Stop',  TO_DATE('09/05/2012 10:00:00', 'dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') from DUAL union all select
    2, 'start', TO_DATE('06/08/2012 08:00:00', 'dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') from DUAL union all select
    2, 'Stop',  TO_DATE('07/08/2012 10:00:00', 'dd/mm/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') from DUAL;

    select tid, round(sum(hours)) hours from (
      select case
        when EVENT = 'Stop' then 24*(TDATE - LAG(TDATE) over(partition by TID order by TDATE))
        else 0 end hours,
      TID from T
    )
    group by tid;

    TID HOURS
    --- -----
      1    75
      2    26
