Call supposed Microsoft error messages

I received a phone call from a number of Jacksonville, FL indicating that my Windows 7 system reported serious errors and the person on the phone needed me to take some measures to avoid that my computer crashing.

I'm leaning towards it was a scam, but want to Microsoft to check if they are called to inform me of the error messages from my computer.

Thank you

Hello

I hope that you made no changes or installed software, they have recommended. If you did
either let us know.

In the United States, you can contact the FBI, Attorney general, the police authorities and consumer
Watch groups. Arm yourself with knowledge.

No, Microsoft wouldn't you not solicited. Or they would know if errors exist on your
computer. So that's the fraud or scams to get your money or worse to steal your identity.

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

It is a possibility that a third-party application is causing the conflict with Skype. We can perform the clean boot troubleshooting and check which program is causing the conflict.

  • A30: Daytime software runs a Microsoft Error Message

    Hello everyone (everyone!)
Can someone help me with the following problem please? I am a pensioner and Microsoft want to charge me to ask this question.
I have an A30 works with Windows XP.
I also have a Sharp ZQ770 electronic agenda with agenda. software loaded into the A30.
'Agenda' have had to stop their activities.
Day software works well and correctly on the A30 for more than two years (it stores the address etc. information downloaded from the organiser to the laptop and allows you to print labels the laptop etc)

Suddenly, recently; When you ask the agenda, on the laptop, print a label; an Error Message you informs that the program has encountered a problem and needs to close - please tell Microsoft.

My knowledge is small and I am at a loss to know why the program, after having worked for so long, suddenly not working.
Can someone give a clue as to a possible cause of what is happening and, perhaps, help me to sort it out.

    Thanking you in anticipation
    Kestor

    Hello

Believe me after 2 years in good working condition it s time to reinstall this software.
I can't explain why these problems occur on the Windows operating system, but it s a fact simply that a new application installation should solve a software problem.
Please reinstall this program in the add and remove programs and after starting again install this application again.

  • Repair Microsoft error message unexpected error cannot run

I downloaded MS fix and tried to run, but get the error message that says: "an unexpected error has occurred, Wizard cannot continue.

    I am running windows xp.

    Any help here?

    Thank you

You can post in the fix it Center forum here:

    http://social.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/fixitcenter/threads

You must have at least Service Pack 3, use of the center of Fix-it.

I think that you also more have installed on your system at the MSXML 6.0 parser (check in Add/Remove Programs).

You can tell them that in the new thread you create there what the problem is that you try to fix and the Fixit you try to get to work.

Small details like this are useful.

I have never personally seen a fix it solve anything but maybe they work sometimes.  What would we do if there is no solution its?  Fix it yourself

If you want to continue your question on here without using the not specified fix it, do this:

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a CD/DVD drive work?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

What you see you don't think you need to see?

What do not you think that you should see?

If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

  • Why am I receiving calls supposely microsoft customer service about my computer being hacked?

When I get a call the guy on the phone told me that he works for Microsoft and it want let me know they get reports from my computer. The issue is on my pc was hacked. The guy offers to "help me". Of course I do not provide information ask him or give him remote access to my pc.  Why I get this call so often. This is something that Microsoft made normally? I need some answers. Thank you.

Calls are outside the jurisdiction of the country in which the calls are placed. This is why they do not stop.

Microsoft has no idea who is running Windows and who is not and certainly can't tell if your computer is infected with malware.

What you receive is scam calls from abroad callers get your name and phone number from telephone directories online and then call in the hope that there will be a gullible Windows user at the other end.

Please let your friends, family, work Associates abreast of what is happening and why it cannot be stopped...

Fake phone calls to technical support

Such unsolicited telephone calls are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.

    Please see:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/security/online-privacy/msname.aspx .

Microsoft does ever not requested for telephone calls of support or security.

  • I keep getting phone calls from people with heavy accents who say they call from microsoft and the need to check my computer because of all the error messages I'm supposed to be getting.is it real

I continue to receive calls telephone of people with heavy accents who say they call Microsoft because of all tha error messages I'm supposed to be getting - which I don't get. I just got the phone with one and convinced him to remember on Friday at noon, Central time. He asked me to give him the remote control of my computer so that it can "fix." I can't believe its "real and he can't give me details about what the problems are." I wasn't about to let him have access to the computer I'm on right now because of his "unusual operating system and all the time and effort it took to get this set-up and at full load." I'll be at my weekend House when it calls Friday where I have a more conventional computer. Is this real or a hoax?

    SCAM.
You have made the right choice. Do NOT give the scammer remote access, or your computer is "screwed".
