• Customization of Loquendo TTS in Captivate 5

  Anyone has any advice on customization of Loquendo speech text-to-speech voices in Captivate 5? In Captivate 4, I was familiar with the editing of dictionaries of the NeoSpeech voices by editing their dictionaries and using VTML. Obviously, Loquendo voice can be customized with SSML and they produce a tool called TTS Director to that effect, but I was curious to know if it could be handled in Captivate, or with some utilities provided by Adobe Captivate users.

  Any info you have on the Loquendo customizations would be appreciated.

• How to disable text-to-speech (TTS) on moto cliq 2.1.5

  Good so I was sleeping with my settings and see TTS, figured hey what's - do this, installed the voice synthesizer app and then implemented. After I received a phone call from a friend and the TTS began to say the name that is not what I want at all its boring. However I can't find anyway to disable or uninstall the Voice Synth application he did me install. Any ideas?

• TTS does not

  I would use TalkBack, for which, I guess that I need to enable TTS, but when I select the Option 'Text to speech', I just get a constant:

  "The status of language by default, audit... »

  Options 'Rate speech' and 'Listen to an example' are also grayed out.

  I rebooted several times, but it's all the same.  It's a new phone, I got it 2 days and I have installed all available updates.

  Any ideas?

  OK, I've sorted.  I foolishly expected to come calling with an English TTS voice pre-installed, as with my I-phone, but it wasn't the case.  I have now downloaded Google text-to-speech game shop, installed a few votes, and there we go.  I must say that as a user visually impaired, I thought to start with my I-phone is considerably easier with this android phone, the i-Phone was basically blind-friendly out of the box, get Android, catch up!  However, now that I finally get it going, TalkBack Android seems to be good enough.  And of course, NO NEED TO DEAL WITH I-TUNES MORE!

• TTS Server and test a prompt for text

  I wrote a script that stores the text to speech in a guest orders and calls and plays this prompt.  Anyway to check if the guest actually contains something before you take the call?  As the use of an If statement prmtMessage >?    I saw in Java were they used prmtMessage.size > 1000, but the I don't see that as being valid in the editor of ccx.  Thanks in advance for any help.

  I thought that the solution that was offered would work, but I would always get back 0,0 as the seconds since the tts prompt. Even if I could play and hear the 9 or 10 seconds.

• UCCE ICM - calls stuck in queue

  Hello guys,.

  I am having trouble with my script ICM. Here's my stream, I use microapp CVP for script queue ext (PM, queue, S)

  Start > Set variable (media, local server, input type) > select (1-5) > CDS > Group Skill > queue to the skills group > Send to vru > script (loop) ext queued

  I tried dialing when my agent is not available when the call goes to the part of the queue but it stuck there constantly, even though my agent becomes available. When I followed the script, I can see the counter in the queue to skill group node stuck to in the queue and the message of the queue continues to play constantly.

  Possible queued without ASR/TTS?

  Please advise, thanks in advance.

  I was not able to find an application that can read the text to speech. the desktop adobe Reader version has a record of tts, but it seems that the plug is not included in the rt version.

  There are several tts and voice for android app. could someone advice me where I can find some of the equivalents for surface RT.

  I especially like my RT surface now that outlook is included. However.  I find the very limited Narrator. I used to have an android based Tablet and most of the application accepts voice commands and had more options tts in different languages.

• UnsatisfiedLinkError while calling a JNI method

  I've been struggling with this problem for two weeks now. I have a third party SDK that provides JNI library, and all what I have to do is implement the SDK, loading the JNI library they provided and call the methods of the JNI. I was able to load JNI library and call the JNI methods when I do not have classes in the package successfully. But when I put the classes in a package, then the library gets loaded successfully but an unsatisfiedLinkError occurs when you call the JNI methods. Help, please! Do not forget that the JNI library is provided by the third party provider and I don't need to write C/C++ code or call javah to create a .h file and then a c / c ++.

  The three classes are SSMain, speech and JNILayer. JNILayer has the jni methods, speech calls the jni method and SSMain is the main class.

• New iPhone than 7 to 8 hours time to call to life

  I got a new iPhone 7 more, ordered through Verizon, a few days ago. Yesterday, I noticed that she had 8 hours and 51 minutes of life call time, which is impossible.

  I have not configured this phone via an iPhone backup 6. I plug it into iTunes once for synchronization of music and iTunes did ask if I want to set it up as a new phone. I said yes.

  Still, I have the old phone and looked at the number of hours of calls from life. It's much more than 24 hours, the new phone has not inherit the old phone number.

  Very strange... no one here can say what has happened. I go back to Verizon and ask them. If it was me, I insist on getting a new phone... that one has been used somewhere.

  I understand that you have a brand new iPhone, but I have some things that we can test first to make sure that nothing hinders the microphones.  Also, you'll want to make sure that 10 iOS is updated, updates may have software patches to improve the functionality of your iPhone.

  Update your iPhone:

  1. Open the settings app.
  2. Settings > general > software update.

  Please also ensure that your carrier settings are also updated:

  1. Make sure that your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network.
  2. Tap Settings > general > topic. If an update is available, you will see an option to update your carrier settings.

  I understand that after your wife 5 iPhone update and your iPhone 6 the new iOS, you both know questions in regards the phone doesn't ring do not or may not alert you to the alert notifications when you receive a message. I use my iPhone all the time and I count on the possibility of having my phone alert me for incoming calls and messages. We'll see what we can do.

  The first thing I want you to do is to restart the two iPhones. Make sure that your wife's iPhone has the ring/silent switch on mute.

  I have a 2012 focus and an iPhone (with the last iOS) 5s that I connect via cable USB of Hyundai.

  I listen to music via the cable and make/receive phone calls via Bluetooth.

  I have a problem when I'm listening to music and you receive a call.

  When I answer a call, I can hear and speak to the caller, but the music continues to play at the same time. The phone call, making it almost impossible to understand.

  If I unplug the USB cable during the call, he MUST immediately stop the music, because that's the way he plays. But this does not happen. The music keeps on playing in the background of the call.

  Also, if I MAKE a call, instead of receiving one, it works as it should. The music stops until the call is completed.

  Hi phidalgostar,

  Looks like you have a problem when receiving calls phone bluetooth while listening to your music through ties. This could happen because you use both types of connection, try to disconnect the USB cable and use bluetooth for phone calls and music playback. This should solve the problem you are experiencing.

• Sierra of MacOS - Siri cannot make voice calls.

  Siri is supposed to be able to make phone calls via the iPhone, the Mac, in the Sierra de MacOS?

  Cause I can make phone calls (not the Facetime calls) fine if I use the Facetime on Mac app and click on the phone number, I want to call, or if I take a certain number of Contacts. But if I try to open Siri and make a voice command to "call X", he always tries to do through Facetime. Which means he's trying to make a Facetime call instead of a voice call normal.

  And page (below) which deals with Siri on Mac shows a command "FaceTime", but not a "Call" command  (As I say, I used the "Call" command and observed the same behavior you did.)
