  We are developing an application BlackBerry to OS 4.1 and we test it on the 8330.  This application calls several web services on a remote server via the SSL Protocol (side).  There is a valid certificate from Entrust installed on the remote server - it works properly with all major desktop browsers.  The certificate has not been installed on the BES - is it necessary?  Some BlackBerry devices will be linked to a company BES, others not.

  When the application calls the web service, a window opens with the following message: "you try to open a secure connection, but the server certificate is not approved."  Continue to push works fine, but the window opens again a few moments later.  Pushing view certificate indicates that the certificate is considered invalid ('unverifiable Cert chain').  The same information is given when you navigate to the certificates of the aircraft.  Certificate trust pushing watch a 2nd window asking you the key Store password, which we are not aware of.

  We have solved the problem.  It seems that the BlackBerry device is having a hard time with a certificate signed by the Entrust 2048 bit root certificate.  Give us a new intermediate certificate signed by their 1024-bit root certificate, which we have installed on our Apache server.  While the window 'certificate is not approved' arises at once, pushing "Continue" worked and it never came up again.  To do this, it will probably install the certificate on the BES, something we don't have yet.

• Using the media update for windows 7 (from vista), can I now re - install 7 via the clean install option, even if it is the path I have chosen when first installing 7 first?

  With a 7 upgrade version (not the full version) I could not use the upgrade option to install 7 on Vista, because it asked me to uninstall 2 programs that would not work in 7 with installation before you begin.  I couldn't do it because my Windows Installer is missing on my computer. (In fact, I couldn't even run the Windows Upgrade Advisor before proceeding with the installation because this program must be installed on your computer before you can run) So, I chose to use the custom installation and it worked fine, except that my computer is now worse than with vista. Thinking that it was because he kept all the vista files (windows.old) I deleted this file, but he did that give back me my hard drive space. I would like to make a re-install using this same version upgrade disc, but I've heard that I can not do a clean install, if the original operating system is not currently on the computer (using the version upgrade 7, not the full version), and I guess that's is more on my computer with the exception of fragments which I affect 7 performance. If this is true, what should I do? If I have to go to the full version, is there a way I can just pay the difference between what I already bought and version complete, or will lose money that I spent on the upgrade version, and buy the full version outright? Bottom line is this:  I want to just Vista on my computer for GOOD!  I don't want something that looks even left of Vista on my computer. I'm sacrificing all my programs to do it with a clean install, but it's better than all the headaches, I got Vista! Thanks in advance for all you can give me advice.

  I have a CS3 SWF that has exposed a number of functions via ExternalInterface JavaScript file interaction.

  I have a flex project 3 where I load this swf via SwfLoader file:

  Loader1.content is the main class in the CS3 swf.  As long as it is also using AS3 and loaded from the same domain, you can call functions on it.

  I run a process that currently catches an exception since a partnerlink. When the exception is caught, I send an email and the process stops. When I submit an application since the BPEL console, I have to wait the JTA timeout before the return of the page. However, the instance goes smoothly and I got the email before the time-out occurs. That's what I see in the newspapers. When I look at the audit workflow and activity, all activities were time-stamped before throwing exception. Has anyone seen this problem or knows what is happening. Is there a problem of in a catch block or catch-all mail?

  There is no question why it happens to expire is because you don't have a response to the client in your tote.

  If you look at your processes, you will see that the default response is in the main field of application. When the Tote is called this response is in the past, that's why no reply is sent.

  Please answer in your catch all back to the client and it will work.

In addition, I cut such power as listed in the book without success. Unit is out of warranty. I cleaned the rollers here and there. Options now... Thanks for your comments. J

  This is probably due to a file specification on the lenses used for the analysis of the ADF.  This glass is on the left hand side, about 1 "wide.  Clean this area as shown in the document here.

• Leaking handles when calling C API Via "Call library function" (example attached)

  Thank you for any assistance you can give. I am a pretty good C programmer and a mediocre programmer LabVIEW so keep that in mind. I created a VI and C simple API to illustrate the issue (all sources included, built with Visual Studio 2005)

  I drove a DLL of the C API with LabVIEW as you can probably guess. There is a delicate part of the C API which requires some pointer math to work. This is the part that is leaking handles (seen in the Task Manager, below. Handles over 2 million and growing). The leak is only seen in LabVIEW and not when you call my API directly from C code (the code for the example C example is also attached)

  The VI that illustrates the problem is quite simple.

  

  LabVIEW moves of the buffer returned by "card Seq Blk Rd.vi' autour and causing 'Card Seq find Next429Ex.vi' to fail. It's my first clue that something is wrong - I think not that my buffer must move each time. I have to actually do some pointer math in my real API to fix this, but did not bother with this example. The question is the same regardless of the fix - up.

  The attached zip contains my example VI, and C for the API Source code and an example of C using the API (which does not leak handles).

  I'm sure I'm not enter a relatively simple concept LabVIEW memory management here, but still a mediocre time so be nice.

• Call Pickup and group Pick up - answer options

  I have a customer who call Pickup and Pickup group configured for the ring at night entering what rings to the paging system (General speakers) sites.   At this time they can either pick up the handset, press the programmable pickup and then answer or pick up handset, group pick-up and then answer to retrieve the call.

  My client wants to eliminate the step where they must rely on the answer.  They would like to be able to press the display key Pick-up and have the call sign vs having to press the answer.  Is this possible.  for collection or collection group?

• Cannot call external units via ##Alias IP_ADDR

  First of all, thank you for your time.

  When I try to compose an end point in outside our network using IP_ADDR ##ALIAS the call will come not through. When I look at call log, it seems that the destination of the call has been truncated or stripped. So, for example, that I am 192.168.1.1 ##15 composition, when I look at the history of cal the destination was stripped down to only 15. It seems that the device tries to call 15 - no other information is listed. So, something somewhere is stripping the rest of the information.

  I found this thread here https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11407121/vcs-search-rules-and... which is a similar but not exactly. It seems that my system can not get to achieve a transformation point.

  Any ideas?

  What happens when you attempt to dial the address using the format Cisco (Annex O)?  That might be the best solution here, just make a habit of reformatting addresses of Polycom, until they are composed.
