Make a call from Outlook via Smart call connector toolbar

Hello

I want to make a call from my Outlook contacts via the toolbar of the SCC. Or when I click directly on the number and I called, the call doesn't come out because it lacks the prefix of output. So I wanted to know if there was an option in the CSC pay "zapper" prefix, or if there was a way to remove the prefix via the CCA or en CLI.

Thanks in advance

Thomas

    Hello

I was wondering if someone could clarify some points of confusion that I have on the Toolbar from Smart connector call?

Is it possible to have it search incoming numbers against Outlook contacts and display the correct name?

I get the correct names if the number is in the directory, but I can't for the life of me configure it to use Outlook although the documentation seems to allude that it's possible.

I use the latest version of the CSC independent x 32 client and Outlook 2007 (him button marked 'activate Outlook search' is checked) on Windows XP.

Also, is the call connector free skilled man for autonomous use or don't each need a license use (we have a UC560)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Smart CallConnector free toolbar has no research supported. The free version does not require allowing and basically can dial and click-to-dial. Other products CSC Adv-customer, operator of the CCS, CCS autonomous operator argued as long we have MAPI enabled and connected the right profile in the menu preference and many other search features.

How to make a call from CPO to vCO (vcenter orchestrator)?

    Hello

I am trying to create a workflow that would connect to a vCO.

    I was Expecting

    1. how to create targets for the vCO and

    2. how acess that target.

    Concerning

    Shiva

    1) there is no target for the vCO. We have a target/connection to Virtual Center (vCenter)

    (2) If you want to make vCO calls you could do, it all depends on how the API is structured. You can make calls via web services or CLI, etc.

If you give your use case it is perhaps more to discuss. If you need an ENH or put something in, you can open a case with the TAC.

  • Make a call from your car using bluetooth with M4 aqua Dual SIM

If you call diretly from your phone, you have to choose the SIM card to make this call, right?

If I try to do the same thing using my connection (free hand), bluetooth on my car, the conections seems to be done, but not his appeal and no connection is made (it end abruptly).

On the other hand if I get a call, I can answer, normally on my car!

    Help, please!

PS excuse my English is not my mother tongue.

You need additional software to automatically choose which SIM card to use in outgoing calls. Currently Android 5.0 do not support this feature. There is a similar topic about problems with dual SIM Bluetooth hands-free/car connections and below. You can use 'real Phone Dialer and contracts' app - it work perfect with car and Bluetooth hands-free.

    Hello
Can I use my Modem A100-233 to call a phone, and what is the porgram should I use to make & receive calls?

    Hello

Did you mean voice over IP?
Well, I m not an expert but I think that it s a good idea to have an internet connection broadband to use voice over IP. I think that the modem data transfer is low use of these technologies. But I recommend you to check some particular voice over IP forums and websites. You will find detailed information about this technology.

I googled around and found a few sites.

Do you know Skype? It is a program that allows you to call trough the net.

  • Phone call telling me that they come from Windows and it is on my computer - make these calls?

I see others have similar appeals - so, what is the answer to these other positions?

Hello - what someone has an answer yet?

First of all, note that when you ask "do * you * make these calls?" you apparently think you are addressing here Microsoft.

You are not. It is a forum for peer support. We just are all users of this version of Windows here, help each other if and when we can. We are not Microsoft employees (not even those of us with 'Microsoft MVP"behind our names; it is an honorary title for having provided useful advice) with the exception of an occasional Microsoft contractor or an employee.

    Second, the call was

a scam and with all the names and phone numbers, one that has become very common these days. See http://www.troyhunt.com/2012/08/virus-scams-social-engineering-victims.html
    and http://www.howtogeek.com/180514/the-%e2%80%9ctech-support%e2%80%9d-scammers-called-htg-so-we-had-fun-with-them/

In addition to their money get on your part for the inaction of any value, if you let them into your computer, who knows what they were doing here or what confidential information, they stole.

So if you have done so, I highly recommend that you do both of the following immediately:

1 do a clean reinstall of Windows.

    2. * after * reinstallation of Windows, change all your passwords, especially all of banks or other financial sites.
Since they * could * have installed a recorder of strikes, simply changing your passwords without first reinstalling Windows may not be good enough.
  • SBH52 don't make phone calls after the installation of Marshmallow

    Hello

I upgraded my Z3C Marshmallow Android and since then, the SBH52 does not allow me to make phone calls from the call log.

I had similar behavior original lollipop but discovered "Call Log Smart Extras" had to be installed and the problem solved.

However, after upgrading to the marshmallow and noting that I couldn't dial from the SBH52, I uninstalled and reinstalled Smart Connect, SBH52 app and Call Log Smart Extras but everything remains the same. I also tried disconnection and reconnection of the headset to the phone, both via NFC and Bluetooth.

The headset works. I can 'throw' music, audio, videos and maintain telephone conversations. I can also access the call log and read SMS.

If I want to hang up, I can still do it by pressing the big round button on the front of the helmet, so my problem is not this one:

    http://talk.sonymobile.com/T5/wireless-accessories/SBH-52-on-Android-6/m-p/1051004#M7193

Everyone found this problem too? Is there a solution?

    Thank you.

I wonder there was an update for applications, but resumed making phonecalls through SBH52

  • FaceTime on MacBook: cannot make cellular calls but can receive

    Hi all

I'm unable to make cell calls with my iPhone via the app FaceTime on my MacBook Pro.  However, I receive and answer calls on my MacBook Pro that are initially routed to my iPhone number.  I have confirmed I am on the same wifi network, I also tried on different wifi networks.  I also have the checkbox checked "Calls from the iPhone" on my MacBook Pro.  I logged in and out of my account of FaceTime on all my devices and reset the settings of my network on my iPhone and MacBook Pro.  A 'genius' has also tried to help me without success.

    Any suggestions?

If the built-in firewall application is enabled, please disable it. In case you are worried about the implications of this step, the firewall generally useless when you're on a private behind a router network.

If you have installed any third-party 'firewall', 'security', or 'anti-virus' software, remove it according to the instructions of the developer. All these software are worse than useless.

  • Sierra of MacOS - Siri cannot make voice calls.

    Hi guys,.

Siri is supposed to be able to make phone calls via the iPhone, the Mac, in the Sierra de MacOS?

Cause I can make phone calls (not the Facetime calls) fine if I use the Facetime on Mac app and click on the phone number, I want to call, or if I take a certain number of Contacts. But if I try to open Siri and make a voice command to "call X", he always tries to do through Facetime. Which means he's trying to make a Facetime call instead of a voice call normal.

Is this a bug or missing feature? Is there a fix or a workaround for it? I wish I could use Siri on my Mac, just as I do on the iPhone.

I observed the same behavior, so I think it's a missing feature.

And page (below) which deals with Siri on Mac shows a command "FaceTime", but not a "Call" command  (As I say, I used the "Call" command and observed the same behavior you did.)

  • Impossible to make FaceTime calls on iPhone 7 using Siri

I tried to use Siri to do a FaceTime call tonight and gave an unusual error: "I wish I could, but FaceTime is configured with me yet."

I'm able to get Siri to open the FaceTime app, simply cannot access directly from my contacts and apart from this Siri works fine on the iPhone 7, including SMS and regular audio calls.

I tried a FaceTime using Siri call on 3 old iPhone models (5s, 6 + and 6s), all running iOS 10, and it worked properly on each of them, she was with both iOS 9 and 10 on the same model of 6s for the past year, so this leads me to believe it's a problem iPhone 7 (or an individual defective unit) rather than a problem of iOS 10.

I checked a number of settings on the iPhone 7 before coming here:

    • Siri is enabled.
    • FaceTime is activated.
    • Restrictions (general-> Restrictions) are completely shut down.
    • iCloud-> contact is activated.

    Hi there jsf23!

Welcome to Apple Support communities, it's my pleasure to help you with your iPhone 7 issue of Siri is not able to make FaceTime calls.  I use Siri all the time and have his power making FaceTime calls is another great feature.  Looks like you have checked a lot of things I want to check too, if I fell on the same subject.

At any time, that there is a problem with Siri or FaceTime, the first thing I recommend is to restart the iPhone and retest Siri and FaceTime.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If Siri is still underway on issues from a FaceTime call, try to perform a reboot of the force.  Remember, this will be a little different on an iPhone 7.

    • On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 more: press and hold the sleep/wake and Volume buttons down for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Test again and then try to check for updates.

Update the software on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch iOS

    Have a great day!

  • When I try my ipad FaceTime I get this massage iphone is not available your phone must be on the same WiFi that this ipad to make a call

When I try my ipad FaceTime I get this massage iphone is not available your phone must be on the same WiFi that this ipad to make a call

In your FaceTime settings, what you defined as "Caller ID"?  If you have set up the continuity (continuity use to connect your iPhone, iPod touch and Mac - Apple Support) and you have the iPad set to use your iPhone phone number to initiate calls, then you will need to have your iPhone and your iPad connected on the same wifi ntetwork.

If you set the iPad caller ID to call from, for example, your iCloud email address, then this message should disappear.

Hello. Dear Apple, I just want to know y iPad 2 Air cannot make phone call or what app or SIM card text have number can you improved

    Thank you

There is nobody here from Apple, just we users.

WhatsApp has not been developed for the iPad. Ask the developers.

The iPad can't make a phone call because it is not a phone.  But there is a choice of applications such as Skype to make calls over the internet.  The SIM card in an iPad has data only.

  • How to make repeated calls to the reader in the AcqVoltageSamples_IntClkAnalogRef code sample.

I want to make repeated calls to the reader in the AcqVoltageSamples_IntClkAnalogRef code sample.  A comment in the code says I can do simply by calling the reader. BeginReadMultiSample method of the callback function. I tried this without success using the same settings for the player. Is it possible for the callback function? If Yes, how should I call the reader? I'm programming in c#.

    Thank you

    John

    Doug,

No problem.  I found the class to which the timeout without much property in safely.  I now have a solution to repeated calls.  The two keys were the infinite time-out setting and the elimination of all the DAQmx objects in the finally section of the callback function before calling the AcquireData() method for the next cycle of reading and processing of data.  The user sets blQuit to false and call AcquireData() by clicking on the Start button.  Repeated calls are then made to 'automatically' until the user clicks the button exit.

    Thanks for your help,

    John
