Camcorder JVC - GZ - MG670BU

I have a business belonging to JVC GZ-MG670BU camcorder.  I tried to call JVC support and they were no help at all.  I hope someone here can help with my question.  I had a recording session video which I recorded more than 20 different clips.  I was able to recover and export 14 folders, but 6 files will not export.  Management of technology JVC told me that the files are damaged because of a loss of power during the recording.  The battery was fully charged and traces of six clips are great.  Is it possible to get files off a JVC camera if they do not seem to have an extension to file or numbers?

JVC support is probably correct, but I would try the following steps...

When you connect the device to your PC VIA USB... is he recognized
with a drive letter to... Start / computer?

If_Yes_can you right-click on the drive letter and choose... Explore?
This should display the directory of the hard disk of the camera.

At this point, it seems to me that you can copy and paste files
on the hard drive of the camera to a folder on your hard drive.

  • Impossible for ME to import from file of camcorder JVC

I am relatively new elements of lightroom and Prime Minister.  I imported several files .me turned from a camcorder JVC bought in 2009 in Premiere Elements but Lightroom doesn't see nor recognize these files to import them into Lightroom.  Is there a setting I have wrong or is this just limiting import this type of specific file?  I know that I skewered my brain trying to find an editing software to edit these files to the point where it was easier to move the camera and shoot with a digital SLR and lightroom has no problem to recognize these files.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • Satellite L300-243 to connect camcorder JVC

Toshiba Satellite L300-243 was purchased primarily for use with Pinnacle 12 doing video editing.
My previous PC had a connection to the firewall 4-4, but there is no similar link on laptop.

Can I use a cable USB 4 - do the download of the camcorder to the laptop?
Or is there another plug on the laptop I have to use?

    Bob

    Hello

I guess the JVC Camcorder supports firewire interface and it was connected to the computer via a firewire cable.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Satellite L300-243 does not support firewire port.

In your case, you could buy an Express card that contains the firewire port.
Then, you can connect the camcorder to the laptop.

    See you soon

    Good evening

I want to recover the movies recorded using my JVC GRD70E camcorder. I installed the cd rom supplied with the camcorder. That includes Imagemixer which allows to view and edit the videos. My Windows 7 PC does not connect to the camera via the USB cable. It seems that I don't have the right driver? Moreover, when text Imagemixer, I cannot open the home page. I think that there is a pb of compatibility with Windows 7. This worked well with my laptop running Windows XP. Thanks in advance to those who can bring me a solution

  • Windows Movie Maker support files is a mod for editing?

    From: cilge

Message: Hi I have a new PC with Windows Vista Home Premium. I also have a new camcorder JVC everio GZ MG 330. This has come with its own software for download from the camera, the mounting and so-called creation of DVD. I downloaded and edited my clips in a movie, but he refuses to burn to DVD. I'm hunting it upward with the people of software.

But my question is, when I tried to use Movie Maker instead, IE to import clips and edit, the program crashed after you start the process. I understand that JVC used a file extension is a mod (a version of Mpeg2?), which apparently does not support Movie Maker. It matters to them OK, but then does not play.

Microsoft plans to include an update to allow this 'new' type of file that will be used by Movie Maker? Or is there a method of conversion of the files of a more normal type. I can't get the software of JVC to save as avi or mpeg.

This type of device seems to be popular right now so I can't be alone here, any assistance received with gratitude thank you

    De : PapaJohn

check my website for film Source files > video > MOD page, they are MPEG2 files and need to be converted to something Movie Maker can handle.

  • Cannot install driver Dell 926 AIO on Win XP

I have a mint-fresh Win XP SP 3 on my PC. All available Win updates downloaded and installed.

Printer Dell is #2 in my list to be installed (#1 was Adobe Reader), that is, I do not expect without conflicts.

    I downloaded and unpacked R146832.exe,

    It does not automatically

When I run the SETUP file, it comes through 3 windows and stalls on the 4th,

    Here's what it looks like

    Connect your printer

In order to continue the installation, your printer must be connected using the USB cable.

Connect all the cables to your printer, and then turn on the power.

Note: installation will not continue until you connect the USB cable to the printer and your computer.

    Back next cancel

This window gives the same message, no matter if the printer is connected to the computer or is not.

I have 4 ports USB (2 front, 2 back), and I tried each one,

those on the front I use several times a day (USB key, Kodak camera, camcorder JVC).

those in the back are used by external hard drive and printer Canon,

that is all the USB ports are good.

To exclude a mechanical problem, I tried the Canon printer USB cable (a lot of work).

I also tried to run this CONFIGURATION file via the Windows Start menu.

In all cases, the NEXT button remains inactive, and Setup stops.

    GButch,

Fresh installation, was it a Dell computer? If so, have you installed the drivers in the correct order? How to download and install drivers in the correct order Software drivers and chipset first Dell system or in the rest of the drivers will not install.

First run delete print jobs to remove stuck print Job (s) of the queue, and then restart the computer.

Try to read the instructions on...

Reference Dell 926 Photo all-in-One Printer owners thread (W7)

don't forget the programs anti-virus and firewall will block communications.

  • Adobe first for 4K:

    Adobe first for 4K:

I intend to buy the 4 K camcorder JVC GY-HM200U.

Fact Adobe Premiere Pro works on Windows 10 CS6?

Can I work (edit, import, export) 4 k with my Adobe Premiere Pro CS6.

Where do I go to Adobe Creative Cloud?

    Thank you for your response.

    [edited by mod text format]

Most obvious would be to upgrade to CC.

CS6 is old and be most updated. You can use 4K.

Regarding the W10 which is going to be trial and error IMO. I'm still holding off.

  • Help with CED?

Nobody knows what a DAC file is? I downloaded a few images from a camcorder JVC and all the files in this format, but I don't know how to play or change this format.

    Any help is appreciated.

SEC files are more than one data or index files that are sometimes used by camcorders. When the SD card is not formatted by the camcorder before a recording is made, then you may experience a problem such as the record in a format that the camera records not initially in. I met several people who say that in dec format camcorder records which is false, JVC Camcorders record a MTS file however if the SD card is not formatted by the camera or is formatted using another device like a digital camera then a problem saving the file will occur.

My suggestion is always format the SD card with the device that you use with. It will prevent problems such as this. I wish that the camcorder would give an error instead of the record in a data file.

  • Target and maximum bit rate...

Not finding much info on target and Maximum bitrate that is under video settings during export > Media.

At the highest quality, my camcorder records to about 24 Mbps.

I export to Youtube. I know that all of the settings to use.

I wonder if I should choose the bitrate at which it was recorded, for my target and maximum.

I am aware that higher the value, the larger the file is large.

    What are your thoughts?

On another note. My HD camcorder JVC GZ-HM300, manual stipulates that all class 4 or higher SDHC card will work.

I see some of the higher ranked cards higher bit rate transfer.

Do I need to get at least a transfer rate of 24 Mbit/sec SDHC to get all the benefits of the record of 24 Mbps bit depth.

Because I have got a standard 16GB class 4 Kodak SDHC for $20 Meijer's, here in Michigan (Meijer is pretty much just like Wal-Mart)

    http://www.Meijer.com/s/Kodak-16GB-class-2-SDHC-memory-card/_/R-187776

Said description class 2, but he of the symbol of class 4 and works with my camcorder.

    What are your thoughts?

A larger file or a less compressed file or a file with high throughput (those that are functionally equivalent) does not necessarily mean a more beautiful once downloaded video. In practice, a video that has the best eyesight will be better once YouTube through the ringer. My additions in 1080 p YouTube typically hover in the range of 10-12 Mbps, but they tend to be low movement videos, so they provide a compression well. If you have an animated video, it may be necessary to crank the bitrate up to what you keep most or at least more of the fidelity of the image. However, you will get to a point where you will just make an unnecessarily large file, with no perceptible difference as soon as YouTube do its dance on your video. I would guess that 25Mbps is unnecessarily high; the recommendation to use 15Mbps or thereabouts is probably sufficient. Test is the only way to know, as there are has no strict rules when it comes to video coding - and YouTube accepts all the accepted general practice and pouring them on their head.

Re: target and the maximum flow: these come into play when using coders who use encoding variable bit rate (VBR). Rate target - as its name suggests - is the rate you want the encoder to pull to and use as an average relative. Flow binary maximum - no points for guessing - is the largest flow you'll let the encoder use in segments (usually in divisions called GOP or groups of images) where there is movement or a visual complexity (very detailed models, or fog, for example). If the encoder were to run full tilt boogie, the maximum bit rate would determine the size of the file; It is roughly equivalent to the use of the CBR or constant bit rate encoding. However, because you have selected a target bit rate (in general, a minimum below the maximum bit rate), the encoder will try to maintain this bitrate or lower throughout the video. For example, my 1080 h.264 encode for YouTube usually have a maximum rate of 15Mbps all about, but I put the target at 10 Mbps or less. Using 2-pass VBR, and given the nature of the videos I encode more often, my files usually average around 6 Mbps. That's what I have to deal with each separate code as its own entity - you can apply some principles, but in practice, anything goes.

These Wikipedia articles could offer interesting ideas in different encoding, at least from a perspective of bitrate methods:

    Variable flow

    Constant flow

    Average throughput
