  Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

  Method 1: You can try to connect the device to a different USB port and check if the problem persists.

• Impossible for ME to import from file of camcorder JVC

  I am relatively new elements of lightroom and Prime Minister.  I imported several files .me turned from a camcorder JVC bought in 2009 in Premiere Elements but Lightroom doesn't see nor recognize these files to import them into Lightroom.  Is there a setting I have wrong or is this just limiting import this type of specific file?  I know that I skewered my brain trying to find an editing software to edit these files to the point where it was easier to move the camera and shoot with a digital SLR and lightroom has no problem to recognize these files.

  I have a business belonging to JVC GZ-MG670BU camcorder.  I tried to call JVC support and they were no help at all.  I hope someone here can help with my question.  I had a recording session video which I recorded more than 20 different clips.  I was able to recover and export 14 folders, but 6 files will not export.  Management of technology JVC told me that the files are damaged because of a loss of power during the recording.  The battery was fully charged and traces of six clips are great.  Is it possible to get files off a JVC camera if they do not seem to have an extension to file or numbers?

  JVC support is probably correct, but I would try the following steps...

  When you connect the device to your PC VIA USB... is he recognized
  with a drive letter to... Start / computer?

  If_Yes_can you right-click on the drive letter and choose... Explore?
  This should display the directory of the hard disk of the camera.

  At this point, it seems to me that you can copy and paste files
  on the hard drive of the camera to a folder on your hard drive.

  I guess the JVC Camcorder supports firewire interface and it was connected to the computer via a firewire cable.

  Unfortunately, it seems that the Satellite L300-243 does not support firewire port.

  In your case, you could buy an Express card that contains the firewire port.
  Then, you can connect the camcorder to the laptop.

  John's response covers just about everything, but in a nutshell.

  The evario has its own file format.
  Use Explorer to drag - move the file from the camera to your drive.  Convert the video file into a wmv. import the given in MM and edit.

  If you cannot copy files normally, try to copy guest rather using Xcopy command.

  1. click on start, principally made programs, click Accessories and then right-click on command prompt, click Run as administrator.
  2. type the following command line and press ENTER. In the command line, drive is the letter of the CD drive or DVD drive.

  xcopy drive:-*. * /s > c:\test1

  See if that helps to successfully copied the files on your hard drive.

• Cannot install driver Dell 926 AIO on Win XP

  I have a mint-fresh Win XP SP 3 on my PC. All available Win updates downloaded and installed.

  Printer Dell is #2 in my list to be installed (#1 was Adobe Reader), that is, I do not expect without conflicts.

  Fresh installation, was it a Dell computer? If so, have you installed the drivers in the correct order? How to download and install drivers in the correct order Software drivers and chipset first Dell system or in the rest of the drivers will not install.

  ·         What is the exact error code or error message when you try to play music files?

  . MOD files are implemented in JVC to the transport stream MPEG-2, similar to one on a DVD VOB file or M2T files used on Sony hard disk camcorders.

  . Mod file format is not supported by Windows Media Player.

  What the video from your camcorder, turning into a WMV?

  You should not be captured this video with Windows Media Player.

  You should use first elements get the media / Hard Drive Camcorder to download the video to your computer. He should then edit easily in a project that is set up for the camcorder JVC - GZ.

• Appcrash first 4.0 with Windows 7 Professional

  I bought a new computer, HP p6319f and loaded my first 4.0 on it.  I load a file vidio (is a MOD) and go to play to decide where I want to put the overlay of text and music.   He plays for a little while (maybe 30 seconds) then appcrash.

  Keep in mind I'm no computer guru... I read a few posts on similar interim issues and people to run in 32-bit mode instead of vista 64-bit.  Mine is 64-bit but windows 7 Professional.  If that's what I have to do how to change in 32-bit mode and I have to switch depending on what program I want to run?  Also is there a patch file that I could charge to the first to run on Windows 7 Professional?

  My guess is that there are a number of small problems adding up to a big problem, Marty.

  (1) you are on Windows 7 64-bit. This means that when the program (which is 32-bit) attempts to interface with your system, it is bumping into the drivers that might not be compatible with it. There is not that you can do about it, unfortunately (you can not change your operating system without reinstalling, which you don't want to). All you can really do is wait and hope that in the next six months or a year, the third-party driver start building drivers that work for programs 32 bit as welll as 64-bit.

  (2) you use first Elements 4 - which may or may not be compatible Windows 7. The program was, after all, creating years before Windows 7!

  (3) Finally, you use a camcorder JVC Everio MOD files. And it is perhaps the biggest problem of all, as virtually EVERY program has problems with them. The frequently asked questions to the right of this forum offers solutions that can work.
