Windows 7/vista and VLAN Tagging (802. 1 q) on VMWare Workstation 7?
Hello
It is possible to activate the tagging VLAN in a virtual machine running Windows 7/Vista on VMWare WorkSation 7?
I have which must be executed in a VLAN from diferent VM. In my case I use 802. 1 q in a bridged interface.
Thank you

Perhaps. If you configure your client to use a virtual Intel e1000 NETWORK card, then you could install the Intel NIC drivers within your comments... I think that the drivers Intel supports VLANS. But I have not tested it myself.

I have a Logitech USB 350 and Windows 7 headphones not not even seen in any USB port
Recently, I built my new system and installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I was using my Logitech USB Headset on my previous bench which was under Vista without any problems.
After all the installations and updates, it was time to see what games and Movies looked and sounded like. I plugged my faithful helmet in a USB slot... and nothing happened. And I hear nothing. My system is not same recgonize that nothing is plugged into the USB port. I tried other 8 available USB slots and got the same results - absolutely nothing. And Yes, all the slots work. Connect any other device (external hard drive, Memory stick, etc.) each any every site works very well.
Plug the headphones on another computer running XP. It is recognized and works perfectly.
Back to my new PC, open the control panel with the connected headset and go to the appropriate screen - I see my speakers and Realtech Audio, but no helmet, no unidentified device, nothing.
The compatibility section of this web site confirms that this helmet is AOK with Wndows 7.
So, anyone have any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.
I'm having the same problem. Never understand you a solution?

Hi, I hope someone can help with a problem I have with my Aspire Z5600 all in one computer. I can't restart the machine because it is blocked on the page re-loader of Windows when I try to reboot.
The screen is grey anthracite dark with white writing and gives me two options, to select one of the options that I would need to use the arrow keys on the keyboard and press ENTER to the action of the selection. The problem is fashion seems to be invalid the USB ports and the touch screen, so I can't select and option of each key board or screen and it will not pass, is just stuck on the screen, making the computer unusable.
Can someone give me a solution to remedy to this problem please?
USB should work even in this form, have you tried another keyboard?

Wireless Xbox 360 Controller for Windows all of a sudden not connect into any USB port
Original title: Wireless Xbox 360 Controller for Windows issue.
Hi, I bought this back in 2008 and it has been flawless since today... I tried to use it and the controller is unable to connect to the receiver.
There is no light on the receiver, even when I plug it into a different USB port there is still nothing... I even tried another computer. I assume the receiver is nakered?. Can anyone shed some light on this?
If the receiver is so broken, can I buy this receiver on its own and that it will be compatible with my wireless controller Xbox 360 instead of having to buy another expensive controller...
Thank you very much.

None of my usb ports work, and I can't get my mouse and keyboard to respond. The computer will start, but none of the usb ports work, and I don't have the use of a mouse or a keyboard works through all the patches. Help!
I have PS/2 ports, but no mouse PS/2 or a keyboard... did not have those last few decades and don't know anyone who has these features more

during boot, or perhaps in Safe Mode
Assuming that your keyboard works during boot (and it should; trying to tap F8 to access Advanced Boot Options Menu), probably the simplest method would be to make a Hiren Boot CD, boot from it and use one of the many included tools. I have not experienced with your particular situation, so I can not tell you what tools will be or will work for you, but my guess is that USBDeView might work.

Download and burn (copied from ElderL):
Download the Hiren ISO here (download important enough but worth it).

I like to use ImgBurn to create a bootable ISO CD:
When you install ImgBurn, DO NOT install the Ask Toolbar (ever).
Here are some instructions for ImgBurn:
Thanks for all the help. Seems that there is no easy 'reset' for bad hardware configurations.
However, I dug to the bottom of my Lac 'tech' and found a USB-to-PS/2 adapter, which allowed me to use the USB mouse into the PS/2 port and reactivate my USB ports.
All is well now.
Thank you all for your answers!
Kind regards!

Device Manager displays multimedia audio controller, sm bus controller and video controller with yellow? and under properties all say device not configured properly.i I'd appreciate any help, thank you
Hello clarksdad,
It seems that you have not installed all the drivers after your new installation.
Try to install the drivers for chipsets motherboard from the CD driver provided by the manufacturer/supplier of your PC.
And then you continue with the installation of drivers VGA and Audio.
For the most part, all these drivers come packaged with the CD provided by the manufacturer/supplier of your PC.
Thank you and best regards.

I need to download a driver?
It would be difficult to say that you haven't told us the manufacturer and model of the flash player.
Neither you told us what version, edition and level of service pack of Windows® you are running.
All of the above information is important to answer your question! Please note, however, that in Windows® XP Service Pack 3 , drivers are not necessary for newer flash players. If you have not upgraded to the SP2 minimum, you can have trouble reading flash drives. Download and installation of the SP3 may solve your problem.
In addition, your hardware supports USB 2.0? If this isn't the case, you may need to install a separate USB controller to use flash drives. See the documentation for your system.
If you have SP3 and your hardware supports USB 2.0, answer these questions and we will take it from there...
No member of this forum is omniscient. You just have to tell us about your hardware.
