Can I buy a stand-alone of Adobe Illustrator, or am I obliged to pay the fee of CC?

I really want to buy a copy of Illustrator because I saw that it is an incredibly useful tool for work I do, however I would like to buy a copy and confess to always and not pay a subscription of the CC? I am a student with a very limited income and therefore pay the subscription (even with the student discount) is not the path I want to take. Is it possible for me to do this? (Even with Photoshop and first)

Thank you

Jamie,

You can buy versions CS6 and full suites with the student discount:

http://helpx.Adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/CS6-product-downloads.html

You can calculate the sum of the price of each product and compare with suites, keeping in mind that you get a completely different when still a student price.

This can make a value really seen what applications you may want to use in the future, or perhaps rather what applications you are quite sure you will never want to use (insofar as that is possible), as part of the comparison and the decision.
