Hi louiset79309343,
Have you tried the https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf online option?
I checked your account, you have an active subscription for the service to export it to Adobe PDF format.
Kind regards

I can't convert a PDF to a word document... Help!
I bought acrobat a month ago and all of a sudden it will not convert a file... Is there a problem in the system? I need help please!
OK and you say that in itself, it still won't convert. You use activeX or other elements facny controls in this document. Because I don't think CreatePDF Acrobat.com can handle that.

That means in fact 'clear history' once you have converted files from pdf into word documents?
@ Which means 'delete history' once you have converted files from pdf into word documents? It will remove the orininal PDF?
Hi Granduff,
Delete history only removes information on the exported files. It does not remove the files.
You can find all the converted files in the files tab to "https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf" and find the original PDF in the same place.

Acrobat Reader DC works fine and opens a PDF file without problem - until I have a word document open as well-, then the PDF file crashes. I can't open a PDF file, a word document is also open.
For troubleshooting, you can disable the Protected Mode (https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/using/protected-mode-windows.html#id_94783) and see if that solves the problem. If the problem persists, please re-enable the Protected Mode to improve safety.
Let us know how it goes.

Add the Word Document to the dashboard
Hi Experts,
I have to build a dashboard containing a Word document. This Word document is updated frequently by business users.
I use 'Link and Image' in the dashboard after loading the Word document in the directory of resources. The URL of the link looks to ' / analytics/res/Help_Tips_Basic.doc'.
The disadvantage of this approach is that whenever changes to the document, the professional user should ask the system administrator to download the document on the Unix server.
The ideal approach would be that the professional user can download the Word Document in the catalog. However I can't get the link right. I use OBIEE 11.1.1.5.
Any suggestions?
Thank you very much
Shi-ningJust upload your Word, excel, pdf, txt, etc. in webcatalogs (catalog of Download Manager - via presentation services then)

Automatically add word documents to the list of OPM of word documents
Is it possible that you can paste a new word document in the rules folder in the project folder and OPA will automatically add it to the Project Explorer or do you add manually new files every time?
I want to have a request to create a partially formatted word template to the OPM project and the project include construction and be available for editing without adding this document.
For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.
Thank youIt of a hacky Darren solution... and would not be supported to a PoV of product but... If you want, you can write a script custom/some code that could directly edit the file .xproj and add new references to document in the file xml xproj

How can I get the tool option to return so that I can convert a PDF file to word
First thing to try: uninstall and reinstall the latest version of the player.
If this does not resolve the problem, provide information on your operating system, version Reader, etc.
BTW did you connect with Adobe Reader [Preferences |] Adobe online services]?

Cannot convert protected by password to Word document
Very new user here. I used the program once and it worked fine.
Ten minutes later, I tried to convert an attachment in email protected by password (my income tax) in a Word file that I could edit and print. I typed the password according to the guidelines and its opening. I clicked 'Convert' and they said 'Impossible; It is protected by Passport. "I couldn't find a place to re-typing the password and no indication of what to do next, have in addition the accountant mail me a paper copy. Thanks for any help you can offer.
Hi barbarab,.
To convert this PDF file to Word format, you will need to remove the password (it does not provide the password when you open the PDF file). To remove the password, choose file > properties after you open the PDF, and then on the Security tab, deselect security options and then save the PDF file.
Please let us know how it goes.
Best,
Sara

convert a PDF into a word document
where are you going to convert a file
Hi patrice228,
Adobe Reader XI uses Adobe export in PDF format online to convert the file in Word.
You can go to file > save as > Word or Excel online
You can even use Acrobat XI to convert a pdf to word document.
Go to file > save as other... > Microsoft Word > Word document / Word 97-2003 document
You can even make a selection in the table in the pdf document and right click and select "export as" > Word document.
Or,
Open a file in Acrobat XI.
Choose Tools > content edition > export a file from the Word document.
Name the Word file and save it to a desired location.

I can not get internet explore and Microsoft word to stop the launch at startup.
I looked at through these programs and autorun boot are not listed. I checked the configuration and that they are not and I checked AVG and they do not appear as startup items. They are not in my Start menu. How can I get these programs STOP opening on startup? I don't even use internet Explorer - I simply downloaded it once and now it keeps opening. I used Word once of many weeks ago, and now it opens each time. How can I stop this from happening?
Hello Sarah133,
In addition to the information that Amara has provided, please look at the suggestions below.
You can check the boot in a few places by using MSCONFIG.
· Click Start on your desktop
· Type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
· Go to the Startup tab. There are options to enable all or disable all or you can uncheck a particular program.
Check if WinWord is set to run at startup, if so, then uncheck the box.
Now, restart the computer and see if the word appears at the start of your computer. You can also check the registry to see if it is set to run at startup.
Go to the Start button.
In the start search, type Regedit.Change the settings of the REGISTRY can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the REGISTRY settings configuration can be solved. Changes to these settings are at your own risk. Please make a backup of ther registry before making any changes. Or you can create a system restore point.
Now, you place the following keys.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnceHkey_current_user\\software\\microsoft\\windows\\currentversion\\run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunonceIf the word is in the list, then delete this registry entry only.
If please reply back and let us know if this helps with your question.
Thank you
Marilyn
