  I have a 60 page document + that I created to deal with pages. It is a magazine, so I had to work in spread because much graphics extend over two pages.

  My problem is that I was invited to make the final PDF file 'single page' - spreads. Each page must be hers.

  I'm starting to see a trend where new users seem not to grasp the concept of what is a "page", and what is a gap. You define documents as pages face to face time to display the "spreads" as a unit while you work and be able to create a "handedness" in the provision, i.e. pages that are distinctly to the left or right clearly, based on the number of page.   As far as I know, the ppi is not the required metadata for the images.

  So Im guessing that Quark exports jpg ppi worthless.

  But Photoshop is to assign a value of ppi when it opens an image without specified ppi value.

  Such a device is not available, as you describe. You can create buttons that would show or hide photos, however, Acrobat Pro.

  If you work in Adobe InDesign, you can create a slide show using the States of objects, which are controlled by buttons to move forward or backward through the slide show. You can then save the effect as a SWF file and embed it in a PDF file. It's the only way I know to do with interactive PDF.
