  After 8 weeks waiting I finally got my vista upgrade a couple of weeks, but when I put in a disk by toshiba, he said to use first of all, I found that the drive is faulty.   My question is as the title suggests. Basically, I am planning to install an SSD as drive and use my Player Toshiba of origin as in WEIRD secondary car with an adapter. My concern is will I be able to use the recovery of the second drive partition and if I ever need to return to the State of out-of-box will it format and install everything on my SSD or the original HARD drive?

  I can't say for sure but I'm 99.9999% sure that this will not work. When you change the hardware platform (SSD and HDD) HARD disk recovery Wizard will not be able to find the image of recovery due to lack of specific markers.

  Create the restore DVD disc and the problem is solved. Of course do this with original laptop hardware configuration and factory settings.

  If it doesn't work your only option, you use the recovery media. Did you create this such as described in the user manual?
