Can not backup my Windows 7 computer

Hi, I have a Windows 7 Pro computer, wherein the C: drive is an SSD. In addition, two more personal data, D: and E: partitions. When I try to save a WD external drive of the computer (in my case drive F :), here's what's happening:)

-When I try to create a system image, drive F is detected, but when I press "Next", I don't see the D: drive. What is shown is: EFI System Partition

Partition D: is not displayed. Backup and restore screen indicates that the Partition D: is disconnected. Moreover, for the backup location a D: bar is displayed.

I checked and replaced the external hard drives, power supplies and cables USB 3.  On occasion, for a reason I can't identify, the F: drive appears.

and I can see the partitions to backup: System Partition EFI with a 'v' in a small gray square.

I checked in the computer managementand it shows all partitions in good health!

If I do not take this situation into account and press on , the computer seems to perform a backup. The duration is 15 minutes and results in a message that a backup has been created successfully.

List was not! When you try to restore the computer from the backup, a backup cannot be located, and when I open the files in the external hard drive, a backup file is there, but empty.

-J' tried to use a third-party backup program. I can't restore the system, but I can restore Partition D.

It's confusing, but my sense of lack of professionalism, is that the problem is in the computer.

When you perform the maintenance of the system, then it pays to keep a way of uninstalling that works no matter what. In your case, this means:

  1. Create a System Restore Point before you do not trivial things.
  2. Use your system repair CD (or a Windows installation DVD) to start the machine in Windows Repair Mode, then check whether the previously created restore Point is visible.

You can delete any partition other than the system partition, and then re-create. Of course, you will lose all the data stored on that partition.
