Can not copy or scan of FDA (autofeed) on LaserJet 127fn MFP

You just bought a LaserJet MFP M127fn Pro and the document feeder makes a cracking noise. The copies come out blurred from the ADF. Sometimes, I get a message to mispick or paper the ADF is not detected

I understand that you feel the paper and quality problems when you use the automatic document feeder on your MFP HP LaserJet Pro M127fn. I would like to work with you today with the resolution of this problem.

It sounds like this problem is a failure to roll in your ADF assembly. This can cause problems with the paper feed, paper detection and quality. Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue.

Step 1: Check of power:

Make sure your printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet for power. Power strips and surge protectors can cause printers lack power and will not work properly. To make sure that the power is not the problem, please connect your printer directly into a wall outlet and test the copy feature.

Step 2: Checking for jams ADF:

Any packaging, paper or debris that are stuck in your ADF may cause problems of multiple streams with all CAD on your printer. To ensure that this is not the case I can get you click here and browse the steps to ensure that no debris is stuck in the rollers of the adf.

If the adf is free of all debris, proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Check paper:

Ensure that you are the copy, fax or by scanning ordinary white paper. Make sure that the paper is not creased or damaged in any way. Load paper carefully stacked in the automatic document feeder. Also, ensure that the paper guides are adjusted and the adf cover is closed tight.

The printer will normally make a "ding" sound or display 'original charge' or "document loaded" on the display of your printer to show that the paper in the adf sensor detects paper as load. If no "ding" or "document loaded" message appears, remove your paper slightly and push back into the Assembly of the adf to see if you can trigger the adf sensor to detect the loaded paper.

Once the paper is detected, please test the copy function to see if the study draw in evenly and prints a perfect copy. If the problem persists, please continue.

Step 4: Checking Firmware:

A programming failure or corruption on your printer can cause the material on your printer does not work properly. To make sure that you use the most recent Version of the Firmware programming on your printer, please click on the following link: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127/M128 series Firmware update

Once the site opens, select the download button in the upper left corner. Once completed the Firmware download to run. Follow the prompts on the screen to send the update of the Firmware for your printer.

Once the update is complete, test the copy function again.

    I can't copy or scan. on my 6280 C all in one.  I use Mac OS x 10.7. It worked, but now all I get is a sheet with all the gray-black ink which resembles what happens if you leave the cover upward. This seems printed on or in the preview copy and scan on the copying and scanning previews - scans show a test of color along the edge.  I can print from my computer.

    I tried most of these steps.  Because it would not copy or scan it look like lamp or sensor was out. So I got a new all-in-one HP at Costco.  To still get advice ho to replace light would cost $25 at HP as it was not under warranty, as well as any necessary parts.  New one is $99.

    From your description, it seems that the scanner unit may be faulty.

    Can you turn off the printer and turn it back on? (Make sure that the scanner cover is closed when it is turned on)

    If you still get the same black copies, the scanner is probably defective and you need to contact technical support.

  • HP officejet j6480-do not copy or scan.

    The Officejet prints well, but will not copy or scan anything on the glass - what is proper. The whole page comes out black and striped - cannot do printing, only a pale reflection of the form of the paper I copy, i.e. a receipt.   I do not see the light 'bar' pass back and forth. Suggestions?

    Please, repeat no messages on the same topic.  It is a violation of the COC.  You will find under "Please Don ' t ':

    Post questions that are identical or similar to the questions you have already posted. When someone has an answer to your question, that person will respond.

    Pull the power cord to the back of the unit (with it's ON!)

    Keep #6 on the front of the unit.

    While now the buttons to the bottom of the plug again.

    Continue to hold the buttons for at least 15 seconds.

    May need to try this twice before scans are clean if the unit is ok.  Otherwise, you may need to replace the unit.

    Google found some questions, but not editing responses.

    So far:
    -J' checked folder & users rights.
    -J' found some files in /tmp/ - yes I have "backup" the archivelogs saved to-delete files in / tmp - I only active archivelogmode so that I can onlinebackup
    -J' managed to connect via rman and run REMOVE OBSOLETE manual - result above.
    -Real I delete the game one by one to find the set of problems. (delete backupset 12345) in the list manually.


    Some a good idea of what went wrong?

    additional: is there a way to let the oracle to remove the archvielog directory-empy after you remove newspapers to breast?

    18:00 - the order "> of RMAN BACKUP CURRENT CONTROLFILE ' also fails.

  • HP Photosmart 6525 Just out of the box: do not copy or scan.

    I just bought and set up a new 6525 Photosmart all-in-One Printer.  It copies fine, but crashes when trying to copy or scan.  I placed my document on the glass, tap the copy on the touch screen, enter desired copy quantity then select 'color '.  The display immediately reads "start copy" and work/timeout icon turns constantly - once as long as half an hour.  At the same time the touch screen and the Cancel button are not admissible. I have to turn off the printer so that it can stop.  The problem is the same when trying to scan.  I buy a lemon, or is there a solution for this?  Also, I am slot than Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  But it has been an autonomous operation which does not, in my view, interface with my PC.  As I said, it prints OK.

    Resolved: The printer in question was defective.  I got at Costco, he traded for a new.

    It does everything it is supposed to do (until now).

    Windows XP is still very stable and reliable. If you want to upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows 8, you can do it. It's a good idea to upgrade your operating system to get used to a new User Interface that would give you a new experience altogether.

    Follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

    Test the issue in safe mode.

    Step 2:

    If the problem does not occur in safe mode, I suspect that there is a conflict of software of third party causing the problem to occur. I suggest that you start your computer in a clean boot State in order to eliminate conflicts of third party software.

  • OfficeJet 5745: New Office HP 5745 jet does not copy or scan from glass

    Brand new officejet 5745 won't copy or scan anything into the glass.  I insert the paper, choose the copy and the document on top of the tracks, lightbar feeder does not move and it produces a blank page.  When you try to scan the computer, I get an error message to insert the document into the document feeder. Help.

  • Can not copy the content of my Cybershot C901 of SE to my new Elm SE

    I need help.

    I managed to download Media Go on my PC and did a synchronization of the content (especially for media files) to Media Go environment.

    I then cut. At the time wherever I am, my old phone records WILL disappear. And when I connect the USB to my new Elm, I can not of course copy the 'old' files above.

    Its not obvious (to me) what I'm doing wrong.

  • C310 printer all-in-one... reloaded software but can not find the SCAN function

    HP Photosmart prem c310 with OS X 10.8.4.     The scan function has stopped working.  I removed the software and begin by downloading the all-in-one driver software on the HP site.  To install it without problem, but the pilot for the sweep feature that used to have an icon at the bottom of my MAC, did not reappear.  I don't find it or it does not exist.  I can't use the SCAN function without going through the application of screenshot on my MAC and I love how that works... its not as clean and user friendly than the driver of HP scanning function.  How to make it work again?

    Have installed a new Laserjet M1212nf MFP. When I send a document to print, it produces an impression outside, well wrapped on the ends because of the heat.

    The copy function and the scanner or never do not produce print outs. The bar with light moves on the copy/scan with the light area, but no print out.

    I can't copy paste opacity animations on board inside the symbol.

    I can copy paste other animations like XY while in the symbol, but not opacity

    Work is about to repeat the animation to the point if necessary

  • Can not copy / paste from/in firefox under Windows 8 x 64

    These problems started when I installed windows 8 x 64 on my pc at home, with windows 7 x 64 there was no problems at all.

    The problem is that I can't copy/cut anything from Firefox and paste it into e.g. microsoft office word or notepad ++ or anything ELLs.

    I also I can't copy/cut anything and paste it into firefox itself.

    This problem is in firefox 22.0, I also tried 23.0 for now, but the same problem is still there.

    I am forced to use chrome now, that I need this really bad service.
    I really hope that this can be solved only Firefox is my explore for a long time.
