I installed the first pro cs5 trial version and edit HDV footage.  When I create a new project HDV is not one of the capture formats (see photo)Problem.png

In addition, in the new menu of the sequence, the HDV presets do not exist.

  • Cannot capture HDV in Windows 7

I have a new Windows 7 PC (Dell Studio XPS 9000) and have not been able to capture HDV from my Canon Vixia HV30 camcorder.  I could not capture DV no problem when I put the camcorder to downgrade the output using 'DV Lock.  I tried Movie Maker and several other programs with the same result.  Each program recognizes the HV30 correctly.  When I start the capture, the computer manages to control the camcorder and begins to play.  However, HD video capture, usually to create a 0 bit file.

I tried using different software in compatibility mode of previous versions of Windows and have also tried to use the "legacy" Firewire driver version, but nothing seems to solve the problem.  I don't know exactly what the problem.  I've seen some reviews that mention another card Firewire is required.  I also noticed that the Canon HV30 Windows driver is a "generic A / audio-visual device" driver.  I wonder if there is something that Microsoft needs to get to a specific Canon for Win7 driver.

For any help or suggestion would be great!

    Hello ej76,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers Site.

You can check with the manufacturer of the device camera to a compatible Windows 7 device driver. In addition, you can also try to install the device driver Windows Vista camera in compatibility mode and check the issue.

  • Economy of capture HDV in MP3 format

Hello... I have no problem with DV with CS6 capture, but trying to capture HDV, when I press stop in the capture window, rather than appear immediately to give the name of the file, location etc., dialog box option instead just automatically recorded as an MP3 file on the location of the recorded disc... Needless to say I can't even import this file in my project PP. MP3 As mentioned, this does not happen with standard DV import. FWIW I'm captured HDV footage on a Mini DV cassette from my Sony V1 camcorder via a Firewire cable to my PC.

Any suggestion or help will be greatly appreciated... Thank you very much in advance.

Here, many of us use the free HDVSplit for HDV capture:

    HDVSplit 0.77 beta

Don't be fooled by the designation of the beta.  It is a program of old, but reliable.

  • Can I capture with Final Cut Pro and edit in Premiere Pro?

Because it appears first has problems with capture - at least for me, but as I see it for others as well - and I can capture with iMovie, I take it with Final Cut Pro for capture - cross for Adobe Premiere and the suite for editing, then finalized? Or is it a problem to copy the photos/files from one program to the other (they would be clearly identified if I could just import first shots later?)

    Thank you

    Rob

    Hi Rob,

When you are capturing HDV into FCP, it creates a specific Apple HDV codec. It is a codec that is not available unless the FCC, movement or compressor is installed.

Two solutions of workaround would be to use Premiere Pro on Mac with above mentioned applications on the same system or convert a codec which can be read in first.

  • CS6 Capture HDV however no video does appear in the order

    Aloha all,.

I wonder what I'm doing wrong... I opened the capture, the camera is online and remote control works, I indicate to capture the 'band' in the area of long-shoring, I hit the record button and the device renders the video, timecode of the point begins to register but timecode of the captured quantity begins to roll and when the capture is finished, there is no video.

I checked and re-checked the unicameral connections and if I had a bad cord or bad device connection control does not work and the camera would not be recognized, so I then went to my video card to see if there is a setting I have to do and there is nothing to do... I'm totally lost, what I am doing wrong?

    Mahalo-n-aloha... konadon

HDV camcorders offer "downconversion" DV on the 1394 output when you listen HDV recordings. If your recording is HDV, but you can only capture it as DV, so that's the question. In addition, if you have the control of bridge and timecode but no video, indicates the same question. In the menu of the camera, turn off the function "convert i.Link" and also set VTR "HDV", rather than "DV" or "Auto".

With the camera off, unplug the cable to the computer 1394, close App edition. reconnect 1394 PC should recognize the camera and the camera (in playback mode). Then you can start the first and should be able to capture HDV.

  • NO CAPTURE HDV IN ADOBE MEDIA?

Guys, I'm frustrated. Frustrated beyond words that I can fix here. I have a canon xh a1 with film hdv to a marriage. I have adobe pro cs5 first and all I want to do is capture my images. IT WON'T LET ME. My canon xl2 capture via firewire works. But as soon as I plug in a camera hd, ADobe does not recognize! I have windows 7 64 bit and never had a problem before capture. Now, if I go to view sd in my camera, walla! It allows me to capture. But then what is the point of hd? When I try to capture hdv images, Adobe does not support? His 2010 ADOBE. HD has been around for years and so has Canon. Why Adobe has problems recognizing my HD images? I tried both Onlocation and same thing happens.

Please help me. Only experienced people who had the same problems or Adobe porofessionals. I have experimented a lot with this problem for a month and couldn't find something so not noob answers please. Thank you

I have an A1 and no harm to capture.

Your seqence must be hdv and so is your capture setting in the capture window.

Each parameter must be set to 1080i in the camera, not car.

Are you of any change on a trialversion?

I ask this because you can capture DV and HDV (no mpeg in the trial)

If this is not the case, try to capture with Split HDV.

  • Cannot capture HDV 1080i in CS3 or CS4

I just shot a minute of video in HDV 1080i with my new SONY HVR - Z5U camcorder format. I have connected a cable IEEE of the camera on my new computer. Premiere Pro is set to HDV, 1080i formats. We would like to be able to capture (without intervention of the end user) following in a file or somewher event schedule so that we can measure how slow (or not), they are and what stage is slow, and what days it was slow. Images can be captured from a DVD being played by Windows Media Player?

    ============================================
It may be possible (depending on the version of WMP but
It is much easier if you use VLC Media Player: it will capture
just the screen video and save it in an image format in a folder
    of your choice.

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    VLC Media Player (32-bit)
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc_32/
    (works on XP/Vista/7)
(the name of the file to download is: vlc - 2.0.4 - win32.exe)

    VLC Media Player (64-bit)
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc_64/
(the name of the file to download is: vlc - 2.0.4 - win64.exe)
(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

For the installer for your screen Capture... Open VLC and
Reach... Tools / Preferences / video button / video
    Instant image section.

In the directory field... Search for and select a folder
to save your captures po (for example... you could
Create a new folder on your desktop and select)

TO... Prefix... check the box... Sequential numbering.

TO... Format, choose JPEG or PNG.

Finally... on the left, click on the Save"" button.

Now... Play the video and pause by pressing on your
SPACEBAR when you see an image you want to capture.

(Tip: you can play a video in VLC by right-clicking the)
video clip and choose... in the menu «Play witn VLC»
    Media Player')

To capture the image... type...  SHIFT + S

Press the SPACEBAR to advance the video... ect... etc...
(also... you can left click / drag the seek bar left or right)
    to reposition the video).

    Hi 撮rezu,

There is no support for multiple webcams in presenter Video Express. Can you elaborate a bit more on your exact need?

You can always have all the presenters captured by a simple webcam, or make extra with several presenters recordings if it works. Please let me know.

    Hello

We have installed the development version of Flash Media Server.
But the stream can be captured with this software:
    http://Applian.com/Replay-Video-capture/index.php#keepvidrvcNFL -> Replay Media Catcher

We use the swf verification and rtmpe Protocol and we have removed the "*" of the permit of htmldomains and alowedSwfdomains and replaced it with our real domain name.
    That make us hurt?
    How can we avoid this?

    Thank you

    Read the following article

Only rtmpe and swf verification is not enough.
Replay media catcher can alter the package to simluate a rtmp protocol request.
Try to apply the server programming side to disable rtmp request and make a few unique handshakes before connecting;]
