can't defrag computer

I click on the program icon for defragmentation, a prompt appears for a second flash then disappears and nothing happens, it is not defragment or whatever it is, why used my defrag job?

Method 1

Locate the disk defragment the file on the computer and try to run it using this file.

1. click on Search and type in c:\windows\system32 pressEnter
2. in the following window named dfrgui.exe research file
3. right click on the file and click "Run as administrator"check if you're able to launch.

Method 2

There is a possibility that some of the unwanted temporary files available on the computer are causing the disk defragment failure

I suggest that you run Disk Cleanup on the computer and defragment disk to try later.

1. open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button,all programs, Accessories, clicking System Tools, and then click Disk Cleanup.
2. in the Options dialog box, choose whether you want to clean up disk cleanup your own files only or all files on the computer. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. If the Disk Cleanup: drive selection dialog box appears, select thehard drive you want to clean and then click OK.
4. click the Disk Cleanup tab and select the check boxes for thefiles to delete.
5. When you have finished select the files that you want to remove, click OK, and then clickdelete files to confirm the operation. Disk Cleanup on delete all unnecessary files from your computer.

Method 3

There is a possibility that some third-party programs installed on the computer are in conflict with the disk defragment process.

    Click Start-> run, type &-> chkdsk c: / f-> ok. You will be asked to schedule the scan of the disc, restart your pc.

    The actual message means you need to move the mounted image - the small icon that is displayed after you double-click the .dmg - and put it in the trash.
