  • Headset does not and I can't hear any sound on youtube.

original title * headset not working not

I woke up this morning thinking that she's going to be a sunny day until I made that I can't hear any sound on youtube.
Now, my reaction was to unplug my headphone to my audio jack cable and plug it in again. And then catalyst SHOULD be launched and has notified me that my headset was plugged. But it does not. Then, I realized that my plug in microphone works very well with my microphone. Which was good.
BUT I noticed that the ONLY way for my "playback devices" figurentsur helmet was if I moved a little left cable into the audio input jack, my headphones would work, but only my right side of the helmet. But as soon as I stopped to put pressure on the left to my cable DISCONNECTED headphones and I had to do it all again. Now, I don't know if it's because of my Windows I installed yesterday WINDOWS 8.1 PRO or because my helmet AND my audio jack are *... Also it does not with another helmet either. So any help from ANYONE, I would be really grateful if I could hear again...

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

The question is limited to the YouTube Web site?

Sound problems can be caused by cables that are not connected properly, damaged drivers, incompatible drivers, sound settings, missing updates and problems with your sound card.

I suggest you to external speakers as peripheral by default and check if that helps:

    1. In the area of notification of taskbar beside the date and time system, right click on the speaker icon and select playback devices.
    2. In the sound dialog box that is displayed on the playback tab, click speakers/headphones playback device to select it and activate the buttons below.
    3. Click Properties, and then in the speakers/headphones Properties dialog box that appears, under the Advanced tab, click default settings.
    4. Click apply or OKand you're good to go until you try to reconnect the headphones or speakers.

If the problem persists, try the steps in the Microsoft Help article and check if it helps to solve the problem:

  • Can't hear audio of recorded files OBS!

so, I recently installed first CC pro, then I recorded a video, but when I come to change it I noticed that I could hear anything! I can hear audio normally when I open it with windows media player, I can also hear audio on my old (Vegas Pro) editing software but I just can't hear on the body, when I import something as bars and tone, I can hear normally, so the problem is with the specific clip, its a x 264 .mp4 file (I installed quicktime and also Xvid codec too) I recorded with OBS Another problem that happened is on OBS Studio, I used 2 tracks, one for my microphone and another for his Windows so I could put the microphone that is higher than the volume of game but the body cannot detect the 2 tracks, it seems that a blank audio track, VIDEO works normally, I see it perfectly! I hear no audio! Please help I don't want to record and 1.4 new video time!

  • Pavilion g4: can not hear the sound of my laptop

I can't hear from the laptop. When I try to test the sound he says not to test tone. I think I got g4, but I know it's the Pavilion g series

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp59001-59500/sp59154.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp52501-53000/sp52791.exe

Once the relocation of Chipset is complete, stop the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f9 to load the default values (sometimes it is f5, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

    Kind regards

  • Can not hear the sound after installing Windows 7

    Original title: Audio problem

I'm not able to hear any sound from my computer. I have integrated speakers it was working perfectly before, but after I installed windows 7 if I play any audio file I can see the game but I hear no sound what should I do

    Vista clean install of XP?

Anyway, you will need to install W7 audio drivers specific for your audio device. Download on the part of the Web site of the manufacturer of your PC/laptop, Web site of the manufacturer of the motherboard if you made the yourseof PC, or, if you have one, the sound card manufacturer's Web site.

    See you soon,.

  • Can't hear the sound in my headset?

When I plug my headset it warns me that I plugged a device into the audio jack, but it does not recognize their peripheral slot of reading. I did a quick search on google and came back a lot of results that said I might have accidentally uninstalled the driver, or perhaps I could try to update. I know that I did not remove the driver because it still shows on my computer Realtek High Definition Audio Driver or something. I checked to see if it had to be updated but its up-to-date so I tried to reinstall it to buuuut that does not work either. Is not the headphones because I have tried several different pairs and its all the same. The sound games through the speakers very well it's just when I try to listen to headphones is no sound

  • Can't hear audio when recording.

I checked the preferences and I think that everything seems ok, but I can't get a peep out of him. Connection is headphone for pc,

I also tried pre amp for pc but still nothing.

As a test, I tried various tests and other freeware audio editing software and I can hear the sound when recording. I just can't hear when using Audition CS5.5

Uses Windows 7 and hdmi sound through my graphics card. I think there must be a setting somewhere but I don't can not find. Thanks in advance for any help.

Well, I had a play with the Realtek integrated sound card on my laptop - not my normal way of record - and has been able to monitor the entry as it was recorded.

I used multitrack view (as one normally do) and the only thing I had to do was click on the 'I' symbol (next to the "M" (mute) (solo) "S" and "R" (arm for record) buttons.)  The 'I' is for the input of the monitor.

However and this is a big however, on my laptop as soon as I specify the HDMI output, it disables the power supply of my helmet.  I can't try it without re - arrange my house, but I am betting that if I plugged the HDMI output on my laptop to my TV, the sound would be.  But it is certainly not on the headphone output of my computer.  It reappears on the headphones as soon as I select 'speakers '.  FYI, I also have to mess around with matching sampling frequencies since the HDMI is locked to 48 kHz and no digital output is set to 44.1.

    I hope this helps.

    Bob
