  I guess that you had deleted Trojans now?

  Is this account that you have problem with an administrator account on ?

  (1) if so, can you create another Admin account?
  So yes even once, when you have a new Admin account, connect to it. Use this new administrator and DELETE the former admin.

  (2) if the answer is no and that it's only a user account, then it's even more simple.
  Login to your Admin account, remove this user account.

• CAN´t open PC Creative Cloud Desktop Application after download/install on Windows 8

  I just managed to finally download and install cloud creatives desktop on window 8 PC application (after using the cleaning tool Adobe CC), but now the won´t of the app open when I double click on the desktop shortcut or icon.

• items lost during upgrade to Palm Desktop 6.2.2

  Just bought a Palm Pre, unlocked, a beauty.  Wanted to move the items from my Palm Desktop to the FRONT.  During the upgrade from my old, old Desktop 4.0.4 for Desktop 6.2.2 I lost all contacts, calendar etc events.  The datebook.dat file is there, but since my old Palm Treo broke down entirely (Palm could not repair it) I could not synchronize the installation of the new software.

  The question is: How can I move my items the address.dat, dateboook.dat etc. for the new version of office.

  You cannot use these data files to the point 6.2.

  6.2 has a format of different file than previous versions and don't recognize these files.

  What I would say, it is to copy your username folder in c-program files-Palm.

  Paste this folder on the Windows desktop. With the help of delete Palm desktop 6.2 Control Panel-Add/Remove programs. Re-install Palm desktop that you had previously installed. Pick up the user name folder in the folder on the drive c. open palm desktop palm and see if your data is there.

  If this is the case, export your data from backup. Here is a procedure for this.

  The best way to protect your data is to export the data in each category of Palm Desktop in a separate folder on your PC.

  Create a new folder on your PC somewhere that suits. Name it something like Palm Desktop data. Click on the link below and follow the instructions on this page for the export procedure.

  This is a regression in FF9 see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=713014 FF9 fails to open a tab (in your webmail account) to view Yahoo chat. That is why the active tab (in Firefox) keeps flashing. In any case, it works very well in beta version of FF10.

• HotSync two different Palm trees that use another version of Palm Desktop

  What I need to know, is that I have a Palm III & a Palm Zire 31 the two that use a different version of Palm Destop can install both versions of Palm Desktop on one computer and then be able to hotsync the two devices. Or two of them will be hotsync with the same version of Palm Desktop.

  I have not tried your specific combination of devices before, but I think it should work.  I install Palm Desktop 4.1.4 and then synchronize the Palm III first.  Once you know that the Palm III is synchronize normally, I would Setup then Palm Desktop 4.1.4e above 4.1.4 upgrade.  Then synchronize the Palm III to ensure that it always works.  If this is the case, then try to sync your Zire 31.

  Since you will be synchronizing two devices on the same computer, I recommend that each device has it's own unique HotSync ID to prevent things from going bad on you.

• Z22 all data lost palm desktop Memo / can not recover

  Hello

  When I opened my z22 office program I got an error message saying roughly memo cannot be opened, it may have saved a '.dat' file but I can't find anything.

  None of my memos exist on the desktop anymore, thankfully, they remain on the z22 because it was not plugged in.

  I did nothing different than usual, I have no hotsync etc..

  I use firefox, windows vista home basic sp2 32-bit T1500.

  I tried to open the Palm as an administrator, but it changed nothing.

  Have you tried restarting the computer?

  When a computer malfunctions, there is always a chance that something might go wrong!  I can't guarantee anything across your screen...

  You could try the option "repair" in Palm Desktop.  Go to Tools/Options/tools and use the check now button to see if it can repair damaged databases.

  If it were my PDA, I'll try what I suggested.  If you have another Palm OS device handy, try beaming the data to the other device as a backup before you attempt a HotSync.   Don't forget to put the duct as I mentioned - "Pocket replaces Desktop" for the data you want to transfer.  Do not click the box for "Set as default" - you want this happen only once as a test.

  Hello!

  I can't open some files on my desktop computer. I can open the trash, I can open shortcuts, I can open the desktop.ini files, I can open DOCX files, I can open EXE files and I can open the VBS files. By opening the files, I mean a double click on the file icons. But I can't open the image (JPG or PNG) files.
  If I try a double click on any image file on my desktop nothing happens! If I click with the right button on the file icon and choose Preview is the same, nothing happens! But I can open files stored in the folder my pictures in C:\Users\User, either by double-clicking on file icons or by right-clicking them and choosing an excerptof images. Also, if I copy or move files that I have on the desktop to the images folder and then all of a sudden I can open them! I can double-click on the file icon or right-click and choose Preview. But if I return these files on the desktopand then I can't open them! What gives?
  I guess it has something to do with the security of files and folders settings. But I don't know what is wrong or what to do. Note that all these files, essentially all of the files stored in C:\Users have been restored from a backup file Acronis disk full (Full_backup_of_Vista_ (ST1PT1) .tib). I know that during the process of recovery of backup in Acronis True Image Home 2011 I left the default setting for the option 'recover files with their original security settings'.
  Leaving the possibility to 'recover files with their original security settings' on a led the old user account SID are listed in the list of security of files and/or folders (that is, S-1-5-21-3623811015-3361044348-30300820-1013). That is why, I decided to remove all of the restored files and bring them back again, but this time I unchecked the option 'recover files with their original security settings'.   Problem solved!

  I used a software called ReProfiler that allows the user to manipulate user profiles in Winwows directly, without having to create a new user account. Because let's face it: having to create a new user account for the sole purpose of getting a new user profile belongs at the time of Windows 98! This procedure of old school does not belong to a Mac modern as Vista or 7!

  It's frustrating to not be able to continue to do things in the system and have to rely on third-party applications like ReProfiler.
  So I used ReProfiler reassign my user account on my user profile. I have done that and restarted the computer. But he seems to have no effect on the issue I had with the files on the desktop. But after deleting some files from the office, it started to work normally. I remember deleting a particular program shortcut that gave me the error message if I went to properties, Security tab. This shortcut was left over after you uninstall the program itself. After the removal of that thing, I was able to open any file on the desktop, even the photo files. So, I'm not sure if it was turned or a combination of things that this point sort, but I'm glad it still works.
  Lessons: Never restore ntuser.dat, ntuser.dat.log, ntuser.ini files when you restore files to a folder from a backup file users. This will probably mess things up. In addition, does not restore the security settings for the files and records of these files and folders to restore. Instead, they inherit the security settings appropriate to their parents.   Hello geocostello and thank you for posting on the forums...

  You can reinstall the office 4.2 that accompanies your centro via the CD.  (if you have one yet...)  If not, you can go the palm.com and do a search for Desktop Manager 4.2 and download it, then install it.  This should not affect your data.  Before doing so, try to go into Add/Remove programs and uninstall from there Office Manager.  Then re-install the software.  Yet once, it should not affect your data.

  If the software does not uninstall from Add/Remove Programs, you can go to microsoft and download the Microsoft uninstall utility.  This should remove the software and registry entries and allow you to re - install the Desktop manager 4.2
