Can't see 2nd computer cannot join the group home

I'm putting in place the home between my PC & my laptop group. I do work very well when my laptop is connected to my router, but when I go nothing wireless.

The OP gave me full access to its machines and I have deleted/recreated homegroup, but neither machine was able to detect, no matter to what end I started. Networking has worked and homegroup troubleshooting went to the test but could not solve the problem. Given that the OP has a good knowledge of creation and access to shares, he now uses this mechanism.

  • VCAC 6 can't see vSphere computing resources in my group of fabric

    Hi all

I hope there, can someone help me. I don't know why I can't see vSphere compute resources in my group of fabric.

After installation and connection to VCAC successfully, I discovered that there is a default tenant called vsphere.local that I used to create a new store of identity in which I used the Active Directory configuration, the next step was to store information to identify the user for endpoints in this case, my endpoint is only vCenter so I created and configured a new endpoint for a my vCenter. point the address I used was "' https:// IP address/sdk" (I don't know whether to put sdk or not at the end in some blogs say it is necessary to include "sdk", I tried with and without good) then I tried to create a new group of fabric and when I click on 'New tissue group' the guest window doesn't show any computing resource of vSphere. " I found that one possible reason that would prevent me from not see compute resources could be because vmware services do not run on the VACA-IaaS machine that was not my case.

Are there clues? or if I jumped a step when configuring tenant, of competence and of endpoint, can you please tell me.

    Thank you

    Carlos

    Hello!

New endpoint must have the same name as the proxy agent (by default - vCenter). If you don't remember, you can check the name in Add/Remove Programs (name of the proxy agent).

Coordinates of the VC in endpoint - https://FQDN/sdk

  • Two computers (Win7), a homegroup. Why second computer cannot join the homegroup?

I have two new laptops, in the two running Win7.  Computer laptop 1 runs 64 bit.  Laptop 2 runs 32 bit.  CradlePoint router used to set up a network home.  Both computers show as being on the host of the CTR network.

Set up a homegroup on 1 laptop.
Laptop computer 2 "joined".  Laptop 2 could see and read the files from the laptop 1.  Computer laptop 1 could NOT see cell phone 2.

Restart both computers.  Same problem (portable 2 is invisible for 1 laptop, if 1 cell is visible for laptop 2).

Computer laptop 1 has left the homegroup, intending to join in an attempt to solve the problem.  Now, when 1 laptop computer attempts to join the network, the message is: "There are currently no homegroup on the network", with the offer of "create a homegroup."

Laptop 2 shows that there is clearly a homegroup, and he joined.

What should I do to join the existing laptop 1 to the homegroup?
This could possibly be linked to the 64 bit OS?  Can't imagine it would, but I'm at a complete loss here!

  • Message: Need IPv6 to join the Group of home when he tried to join the group home

    Original title: IPv6

When I try to join a homegroup on this computer, I get a message that says I need IPv6. I clicked on the adapter and went to proberties and I have IPv6 installed and it has a check mark in the box. So, it should work. When I clik on the link and go to properties and don't look at the IPv6 connection it say no internet. What this means and how to get it to connect. Man this is proving to be a mess.

My computer with two hard drives and 2 starting systems has the car crash in the solid state. When I got the new drive and tried to restore from time capsule, I lost some data. How can I see what backups are on the time capsule? My laptop is also saved to the time capsule. Everything is in 'Data' when I look through the Airport utility. I think that the information that I've lost are still there since I was a Capsule 3 to.

Time Machine backup to a sparsebundle.

The sparsebundle will use the share name of computer. So, it should be obvious who is your Macbook and that is your Macpro.

Open the sparsebundle in Finder and keep open the subfolders until you get to the backup of each separate hard drive...

You has of course set the exclusion in Time Machine?

By default, Time Machine will exclude your second drive unless you have included it. Did you?

Once you get to this level during the backup, you can do a full restore manually whenever you want.

When I go into the Panel, printers and other equipment, scanners and cameras, I see 2 points. 1 is, WIA Canon MX310 SER. The 2nd one is Canon PowerShot SD1300IS. When I keep trying I sometimes get an error message, the computer cannot detect the scanner or camera.

How can I solve this problem and download my photos?

    Thank you Tim

    Hey volunteer J;

Thanks for the help, but it did not help.

I found the answer on page 2 of microsoft answers, xp, images and videos.

6 questions down, how to re install microsoft scanner and Camera Wizard.

It turns out that some tech volunteer known as J (is it you?} came across the solution to my problem on this site:http://www.veiled-chameleon.com/weblog/archives/000231.html )

I have used PC Cleaner on this xp, and I think he may have disabled some of the registry keys. For me, I had to start my pitcher of DCOM Server, RPC, Remote procedure Call Locator process and put them on automatic. Once I rebooted, everything works great.

I'm so happy that tech Volunteer J, done everything search last December. I bet it helped a ton out of veterans with our cameras. How did he find veiled Chameleon? Wow he must be smart enough.

Thank you for volunteering j. (is it you?)

  • My computer cannot join a homegroup. What do I need to fix this?

my computer cannot join a homegroup, what do I need to fix this?

Windows 7 is installed? This is the only version of windows that supports the homegroup

  • Cannot join the homegroup

I have two computers windows 7. One is a desktop computer and one is a laptop. I have a printer connected to my desktop computer. I'm trying to implement a homegroup on my desktop, so I can print from the files from my laptop and my desktop on my laptop access.

    I use AT & T as ISP and received a 2WIRE router/gateway to AT & T (Uverse).

I access Internet through a wired connection from my desktop to the router/gateway and I have access to the Internet via a wireless connection from my laptop to the router/gateway.

I have the driver for my printer on both computers.

I created a homegroup on my desktop computer. I have received and printed the password of the residential group created on the desktop.

When I on my laptop, I don't get the screen asking to join the home group. The screen I received looks like the screen that allows me to create a home on my lap top group.

I want the House Group to set up on my office and share with my laptop.

I spent reviewing the documents on the Internet to diagnose the problem without success.

I don't think that my lap top using the correct network to find the homegroup (just a guess). I need to be able to connect but computers to the Internet without degradation of the service.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • G42 - 490 YOU: what changes can I see or wait until after the upgrade of RAM?

    Hello

My PC model # is G42-490TU, processor - Intel Core (TM) i3 CPU M370,
RAM: 6.00 GB (2.93 usable), System Type: 32-bit operating system.

I've recently upgraded RAM 2.00 GB to 6,00 GB with 2.93 GB usable, that's what it shows.

I want to know if this 2.93 GB of 6,00 GB usable the correct value of the memory that is made available?

Also, I want to know what changes can I see or wait after upgrading the RAM from 2.00 to 6.00 GB where 2.93 GB is usable? How does this improve the effectiveness of my PC? Is there something that needs to be done on my own apart from adding the RAM to increase performance and the maintenance of my PC?

    Thank you best regards &,.

    Isha

The problem is the operating system of your laptop is 32-bit.

A 32-bit operating system can use @ 3.25 GB installed memory.

Install additional 4 GB to a laptop that had 2 GB was a regrettable mistake.

As long as the 4 GB memory module you have is compatible, you'd better remove the 2 GB module and put the 4 GB module in its place.

You won't find a lot of improvement with the current configuration of a 2 GB module and a 4 GB module. With this memory configuration does not work in dual channel mode.  You would be better with two modules of 4 GB, but this is only if you upgrade your operating system to a 64-bit version.

In fact, you would have improved if your OS is 64-bit. A 64-bit Windows operating system will recognize and use the installed memory.

If you really want to improve the performance of the laptop, you should consider upgrading to a SATA SSD 256 GB drive at least.
