  In the last part of this example, it seems that Clip on 1 video track was duplicated and placed on the video track 2. There, it was zoomed in, with the fixed effect > Motion > scale. The cropping effect has been added to isolate only the mouth and then the effect fixed > point > Position was used to 'move', which reduced and cropped Clip to the right. A waveform display has also been added, say on video track 3 and probably scaled, Cropped and positioned too.

  It does not appear that any of these effects (fixed or added) were keyframes to animate over time.

  The main question in the subject line. If the answer is 'no', what is the new clear Image Zoom. It provides nothing that I can't do post-production with cropping?

  If previous digital zoom and turn off zoom of the image are not better than cropping, software like The Gimp would be sufficient, or would I need pro-level photo editing software?

  As the camera will only m the image zoomed in and you might get a correct exposure for this small part of the image, this is a good option to use the digital zoom.

  When you use the digital precision, Zoom auto focus feature works with priority on and around the central region.

  While in the cropping a picture, its quality will remain identical to the original image, but the size will be smaller.

  Here are the definitions of optical zoom, digital zoom of a clear picture and precision digital zoom.   I've seen 2 WD briquettes with the Green circuit board, and each of them has had this additional projection that interferes with my Intel SSD to slip in the correct position.  You can see in the pictures that "bottom basket' of the SSD Intel a flower metal where the hard drive has a"container"recessed in the same region to take account of this protrusion.
