  Impossible to download and install the latest version of Flash Player.  The installation program downloads very well but the installer will not download the Flash Player. I keep getting a message "connection error" the installer.  I checked my DSL connection and it works properly.   It is possible that the Flash Player files detected in your second screenshot are in a certain place that uninstall is not updated on delete. Follow these steps:

  1. Launch Firefox and navigate to Subject: plugins
  2. Locate the Shockwave Flash
  3. Note the access path Flash Player Flash Player from loading.  For example:
     
  4. Using Windows File Explorer / go to the location of the path (in step 3) and delete the file

  For the dialogue window empty installer, follow these steps:

  1. Right-click on the Setup file, and then select Properties
  2. On the general tab, click the unlock button
